first for Donna a shit

james was always cool

So he's basically Alex Jones, right?

>20 minutes of jacoby spraying shovels
>all for a commercial
did we all get lynched

it's time to talk about judy

no, fuck off Limabaugh

If you twist every positive thing in Briggs' vision you end up with the Purple Room.

"There seemed to emanate from it a light, from within this gleaming, radiant marble."
Inverts to darkness, everything in shadow
"I had known this place. I had, in fact, been born and raised there, and this was my first return—a reunion with the deepest wellsprings of my being."
Obviously Cooper is lost in this new space, it is not home or safe.
"There had been added a number of additional rooms, but in a way that blended so seamlessly with the original construction, one would never detect any difference."
The stylistic disconnect between the fireplace area and the industrial roof, not to mention the spatial discontinuity.
"Returning to the house’s grand foyer, there came a knock at the door. My son was standing there. He was happy and carefree, clearly living a life of deep harmony and joy."
Male offspring vs female parent, complete inversion, and 'mother' did not seem to be happy and carefree, more angry and determined.

red room me on the dugpa forum. are they ultra liberals who will ban you if you say anything bad about frost?

...

Yes, they worship frost over there. Matter of fact, the reason I'm posting here is because they perma-banned me for saying that Frost ruined season 2. So the answer is yes.

They're liberals like most Twin Peaks fan but politics don't come up and they won't ban you for talking shit about Frost, granted you critic his work not his hate for Trump

HELL NO BABY GODDAMN NO

Fake News.

READ THE FUCKING BOOK
ITS NOT FUCKING OPTIONAL RETARDS
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Impeachment soon, fellow #resist-or!

Imagine its your balls instead of those grapes

It isn't but you're missing out

maybe once the season is over :)

Cut the shit Dougie!

hnghh i'm cummin'

but thats when the next book will be out

HELL BABY GODDAMNED NO

I was just about to come here to make a Twin Peaks thread since Reddit are a bunch of poseurs who can't figure out what is missing from the evidence.

It's the bit of a casino chip that was in Laura Palmer's stomach. That's what they haven't found and what has a link to Hawk's heritage.

You're welcome.

this october sometime

thinking about buying it
i hate reading on my computer or an a fucking tablet, like having something in my hands

Goddammit move out of the way!

Poor Bernie, he was only there for the beezaness

We will see White Loudge in the last episode, and maybe a war between 2 loudges, screen this.

...

>mfw reading last thread and a lot of people complaining about the style, pacing and plot shooting seemingly everywhere
It's like those people haven't watched Inland Empire, Lynch's previous project to S3. S3 so far has IE written all over it.

It fits with the theory that Lucky 7/Silver Mustang are also clues for Hawk but how the fuck is he gonna connect those dots it's a mystery.

>mfw I solve the mystery of what's missing from the evidence and has a link to Hawk's heritage and everyone just ignores it

THIS IS WHY YOU FUCKS CANT FIGURE IT OUT YOURE JUST FUCKING STUPID

It's how native americans view rabbits/bunnies

>audiobook
thats for plebs who cant read
like somalians

It's not just a random audiobook, silly, Kyle Machlachlan and other actors are part of it

I'm not sure how they're going to connect the dots either but that is what's missing from all the evidence. I'd wager it's going to be one of those moments where Lucy is looking over the log and notices a detail everyone missed. It was such a small item too.

what is it? I don't read these threads religiously so I probably missed your post.

everyone has already figured out that a casino is related to hawk's heritage. you're a week late

>Thinking you can predict anything

Hi, reddit! Fuck off.

>silly,
thats silly billy to you son

I also wonder if that chip was filed in TP since it was sent over a Philadelphia lab for analysis iirc

Daily reminder OP thought the shovels were not what they seem therefore OP is a fag.

Didn't coop show the chip to Jacques Renault at some point in the show?

He showed the token with the bit missing, yes.

Why isn't tripfaggin a bannable offense?
I can't stand you lot

Its the key you dingus

Hawk's heritage => creamed corn => GARMONBOZIA

It's not about the bunny

has Hawk even mentioned Garmonbozia in the show?
I mean his heritage clearly has something to do with the lodges and their "legends" about it right?
He talks about it in the show, in the second season i think

what state is missoula in again?

MONTANAAAAAAAAA

Oh yeah, that's right. It was in that "bite the bullet" sequence.

Anyway, how does the chip connects to Coop? It's a OEJ chip, and Coop was in the Silver Mustang.

The key wasn't part of Laura's case.

The keys, maybe. I don't know how the system works, once the keys come back to the Great Northern won't they have info about where they were sent from?

I read the books.
So far Tamara Preston and Wally mentioning Lewis and Clark are the only relevant things.

those keys got lost with cooper so they have to know about them

can you really do this?

But is it about the chocolate?

The log didn't say anything about Laura, just Coop. It ties into Hawks heritage because of the decor.

>The key wasn't part of Laura's case.
The log didn't say "Laura's case" it said "to do with Agent Cooper"

You think Alex Jones came up with conspiracy radio?

FOR THE LAST TIME
FOR THE LAST TIME

Why bother? Trump so far has been too dumb/senile to get anything done policy wise whereas pence might actually be effective. It's best to just let Trump finish his term

You also know that the Log Lady was abducted when she was little

Finally watched IE last night. 3 hours just flew by, loved that shit. Even knowing *that* face was coming it still fucked with me.

Reddit babbies really can't accept the fact that Lynch has too much integrity to make S3 a stale re-tread of all the original series tropes. Also I'm loving that they're getting BTFO trying to "solve" the show this early in the season.

Shit that's right. The search through the case files is just misdirection.

I'm starting to think maybe "Hawk's heritage" is something more direct like a grandfather or some specific parent. Just "The Great Northern being decorated with indian motifs" sounds too vague.

That's know from the show too, in Season 2 after Major Briggs is abducted she reveals a similar mark, product of that abduction.

of all the drumpf arguments, Senile is the dumbest one, guy looks like he's 40, has more energy than many 20 year olds

When's Coop gonna snap out of it? Shit's getting old

So, who DID Booper call?

I was watching my old season 1 dvds and so far it's all in uncropped 16:9, I remember everything being 4:3?

getting old

That's because we had 4:3 TVs when it first came out. They cut down the frame from footage to make it fit. When they released the DVDs and etc the original non-trimmed footage is what you see.

Jeffries

Look, the fact is that Alex Jones is the most popular conspiracy radio host out there at the moment. And he regularly acts like a caricature on air. The golden shovels were satirising Super Male Vitality and all those overpriced water filters that Jones shills on his program constantly. Also, David Lynch has even been on the Alex Jones show in the past.

Phillip Jefferies. I'm not sure how they're going to show him since Bowie is dead but who knows.

>not loving the Dougie bits

Let me guess, you want Super Coop the amazing detective who puts Sherlock to shame, "beats BOB" and saves the damsel?

The theme of this season is Coopers odyssey back to Twin Peaks.

>barely canon with the rest of the series (b-but the contradictions are intentional to show that people have different point of views in events, even though these contradictions have nothing to do with the character's pov)
>90% of it is dedicated to interdimensional aliens coming from the black lodge which is interesting, but has no impact on anything
>the one mention of Garland Briggs meeting dark coop OMG CONFIRMED FOR MOST IMPORTANT PIECE OF TWIN PEAKS MEDIA FOREVER
it's an interesting read but it might as well not exist

Oh right, that's why it was in Buenos Aires

...did they talk about Judy?

Hold up, my Entire Mystery blu ray set is all in 4:3

...

Who is also enjoying more this third season than season 1 and 2?

This season is just what i've ever wanted from David lynch

>I'm not sure how they're going to show Mike's arm since MJA isn't a part of the new season but who knows.

I'd agree with you but episode 5 had the best, or better yet, the only good Dougie segment yet. Everything at his workplace was golden.

And don't worry about reddittors like , Coop will be back to health in two or so episodes.

>it's a metaphor for what it is
frostfags disgust me

Alright, you've got a pretty good point.

Aside from that who thinks that the Black Lodge "ate" the White Lodge long ago?

I love them both but I really appreciate that he wasn't afraid to go a totally different direction with S3 (although I never expected any less from Lynch). Trying to revisit Twin Peaks as it was would feel like a pale imitation with so many actors dead and the rest old as shit, plus that comfy 90s vibe can't be replicated. This is like Mullholand Dr + Eraserhead with Twin Peaks characters.

>I'd agree with you but episode 5 had the best, or better yet, the only good Dougie segment yet.
It took some people many years to appreciate Blue Velvet, FWWM, etc. Lynch is almost always ahead of his time in terms of praise. You WILL look back on the Dougie scenes and appreciate them in ways that, right now, you find impossible to fathom.

user the man is morbidly obese. He literally had to ride around in a golf cart during the g8 summit while all the other leaders walked because he's so out of shape. Also niggas got fake teeth

Nobody cares about Alex Jones, i literally only see him mentioned as a meme on Sup Forums or occasionally Twitter

interesting observation

I never claimed there was no deeper metaphorical meaning to that scene, if that's what you're complaining about.
I certainly see it (especially in the way it was intercut with various TP characters listening each on their own) as a commentary on America's decline through the disintegration of community and the atomisation of individuals.

now thats the kind of girl to make you wish you spoke a little french
but yeah i don't think i love this season more than the first half of season two yet, but its looking pretty good

Not only that but he's already had to bow out of events due to "exhaustion" after talking endless shit about other people's energy levels lol
google.com/amp/s/www.aol.com/amp/2017/05/22/trump-stamina-skips-event-slips-up-exhausted-abroad/

I hope this plays at some point, hopefully at the Roadhouse

he thinks exercise kills you

Dude, pack your Trump shit up and take it to Sup Forums. This is Sup Forums and you're in a Twin Peaks thread, nigger. No one cares.

>70 year old man has less energy than a 50 year old Obama

what the hell, I'm with Hillary now

No, I am complaining about the desire to interpret everything as symbolic for something else.

That was in the show and won't be relevant anyway

what does it mean?
