Never cared about Warcraft anything before I saw the movie and I liked it

It had good action direction, great art direction, and a serviceable plot.

I watched Warcraft for the first time just last week.

It was ok. Aside from some visual imagery here and there, it didn't really feel like it had anything to do with Warcraft.

It needed to take place on a larger scale and include more varying races and locations. This basically just felt like Avatar or something but with Orcs.

I did watch the Assassin's Creed movie right after though and I will say that Warcraft was better than that.

I've never played Warcraft but I have no feelings about it either way. There wasn't redeeming feature in the half of the film that I watched. I had no interest in the story. The cast was shit, and so was the CGI. Its the only film I've ever switched off halfway through.

He just tweeted like 20 minutes ago he's doing a screening of the first Warcraft in some theater in London, don't think it was for a sequel at all... unless this is to try and drum up some publicity to try for a sequel. Pun intended.

You've got stuff like the Kael'thas and Illidan too, if you're going to use a ton of CGI spend it on some fire/blood magic from Kael or Twisting Nether stuff, it'd look gorgeous.

civilization is basically warcraft but better in every way. If you want deep strategy with a minor tactical element, go with civilization. If you want a heavy focus on tactics with cookie-cutter strategies, try starcraft. If you want a game that is inferior to both and somewhere in the middle of those, go with warcraft 3.

Why not? I didn't hate the Warcraft movie. I wouldn't mind a sequel. I like the world and lore, it just would have needed better characters and a bit more eloboration on what is actually going on for people unfamiliar with the games. I was kinda lost, not when it came to the actual plot, but when it came to certain characters and factions. I mean, there was that one wizard dude everyone referred to as guardian. And I sat there wondering "Guardian of what, exactly?"

I'm not talking about civilization campaign, I'm talking multiplayer. I've never played the campaign, but the multiplayer is an RTS
