Yep it means money. Yes regulation doesn't fix everything. But it should weed out people who cant afford to own a dog and raise and train it properly and it will make BYB harder to do as well as stop bullshit trainers.

Animal control along with the LEO ask to see his breeding certification and the licenses for his two dogs he has neither. Dogs are confiscated and taken to a shelter and he is fined. Dogs/pups that don't get adopted by a responsible owner are destroyed.

Also i'm not saying we need to get rid of protection dog training or gun dog training or hunting dog training or schultzhund or anything like that.

Maybe also give them free training and licensing as well. So we capture existing dogs.
To me its like selling un-regulated cars. Like if no-one was checking if the breaks work or the steering worked and then selling that car to people then the car malfunctions and people die.

This is what I always try to point out to people, they are great dogs, we made them for a purpose and they're good at that, but they're so high maintenance that they make terrible pets for most people.
It's crazy how many of them you see in pounds and on craigslist, tons and tons and that's not even counting the half breeds from the piece of shit owners who couldn't be bothered to get their dog fixed. And the people at the pounds push these dogs on EVERYONE. They don't give a shit if it's a single woman with three young kids, 'A pitbull is the dog for you!' Old people looking for a loyal, easily handled pet? Why not a halfbreed pit? Young woman with two jobs living in an apartment building who has never owned a dog before? Get a pitbull for protection!
They honestly think they're helping pushing these dogs that absolutely can be a danger if not handled properly on everyone that calls or walks through the door and then act all surprised when these dogs dominate the attack lists.
Check out local pounds or do a scan on craigslist- pits or half breed pits easily make up 2/3s of the dogs available. The people at the pound don't really give a shit about these dogs - they think they do but by giving them to homes that have no business owning such a dog these well meaning morons are only dooming the breed faster. It's kinder to put down the ones that can't be placed in a home than to send these dogs to homes where they're likely to eventually get in trouble and be euthanized anyway.

Closes one would be undistributed middle if you are dumb and fail to notice the actual point: Guns have this much rates of deaths per 10000 guns which is ridiculously small (1 death per gun 10000 privately held guns). Pit bulls rates of death per 10000 is even smaller (.29 deaths per 10000 pitbulls).
If the former statistic shows most guns aren't use in crimes and therefore targeting them is dumb, then the second number shows the same thing. And of course that holds, because the former is true.
