Probably doesn't get mentioned often because it's so entry level but The Howling is obligatory if you're into werewolf movies.
The first one is really fucking good.

The Wolfman
Frankenstein Meets The Wolfman

This thread is too reddit for my tastes

Wer
Interesting spin on werewolves without getting all snowflakey about it.

Maybe actually watch the movie? It's pretty good.

What happened to his penis?

It gave me nightmares when i was a teen, but the film itself is a bit ridiculous...not sure why he turned it into a comedy

hp3 has by far the best werewolf design of any movie

The Howling

the only comedic parts i remember is when he's talking to his dead friend and he keeps getting more decomposed each time

>gets stabbed through the foot with rebar
>STILL WEARS HIGH HEELS
this is how you know the movie is 10/10

>this level of artistry and craft is now dead.
>rick baker worked on the wolfman remake and retired shortly after because he had so little to do on that most of it was cgi
>and then he died :(

It's hard to describe, but there's a bit where a guy from the American embassy (IIRC) visits him in the hospital that's just fucking silly.
The main character is going apeshit upon finding out his friend is dead and there's this weirdo comedy character telling him to stop being hysterical.

> Based Ginger Snaps poster.

Also watch Ginger Snaps 2, it's a direct followup to the original. Skip the 3rd though, it's a prequel that makes no sense.

i remember there was a goofy police officer in Black Christmas. maybe is was the style at the time like this onion on my belt

3 isn't any worse a movie than the other two in my opinion.

All I've given 7/10 and more to:

AAWiL 9/10
Ginger Snaps 8/10
Dog Soldiers 7/10
Ginger Snaps 2 7/10
The Howling 7/10

American Werewolf in London
Dog Soldiers
Howling
Ginger Snaps
The Company of Wolves
Silver Bullet
Bad Moon

Those are the best

Required Watching:
Werewolves on Wheels
Howling 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Wolfen

American Werewolf, Ginger Snaps and The Howling are the best ones as has been said, but it's worth noting that the werewolf segment of Trick 'r Treat is excellent.

I like Ginger Snaps but that praise feels way too lofty. It's really more of a teen movie with a werewolf coating.

>Only one user recommending the Wolfman

real talk i've never been able to get into old black and white monster movies without robots in the front row making jokes. mad respect tho

Hard mode: Decent werewolf movies from the last five years

Katharine Isabelle
hnnnnnnghhh
any of you cunts seen that American Mary ?

bros, what are some werewolf films that will appeal to my transformation fetish?

oh its a stealth furry thread

Bloodborne is kino though they are just described as beasts and not werewolves. There's some good werewolf stories in the witcher III as well.

Thank you Sup Forumsedditor I'll be sure to pay 500 dollars for a subpar storytelling machine.

>1 film costs $20
>lasts 2 hours
>games last from 8-200 hours
>actually a saving with more immersive stories and gameplay

Movies are over.

Bad moon

>Ctrl + F "Wolf"

For shame Sup Forums

How about this absolutely fascinating kino?

MONSTAH

>going to /gif/.mov

That's kind of why it's so great.

Let's not open the floodgates for any movie that just so happens to have werewolves in it.

That pissing on James Spader scene
