It's got the tombstone design everyone loved from BTAS with some of the classic 1940's stuff.

...it's a redesign of the Burton Batmobile. That's why it looks so good, because it's based on the best.

>he thinks it's based on the Burton Batmobile
>he thinks the Burton Batmobile is the best
Batman TAS my friend

>...it's a redesign of the Burton Batmobile
Looks nothing like the Burton one. It's a clear update of the BTAS one

the turning radius of that car is such shit. Batman would have to be doing 3 point turns to just to turn on a street.

It looks like a locomotive.
I love it.

maybe his wheels have 180 rotation

Isnt this the 40s face on the TAS mobile?

Luckily Gotham City just opening up an abandoned widelane road factory.

The long car is so iconic but it's never been my favorite, it looks so unwieldy. I like muh Batmobiles to look a little more utilitarian, but not Tumbler tier.

...which is based on the Burton one.

It was a really common element of Batmobiles for a very long time.

it gets destroyed the panel right after that

And that design was based on the Burton movie.

Look at the pic, which was made three years before the animated series, then apologize.

please be joking

you see it fall off a bridge

prove it.
I'm looking at the latest preview on the archives and the batmobile hasn't even appeared yet

youtube.com/watch?v=a_irwmzg31w

watch from 2:00

Nowhere did it even imply that it was destroyed.

>car falls off a bridge and Batman ejects from it

maybe to get to the plane? he can still recover his car

Man, every time I think of the Batmobile the first thing in my mind is still from the 66 show, what the fuck.

>looks more like the Burtonmobile than the BTASmobile

You dumb.

You don't read, do you? BTAS was based on Burton, and OP's is closer to Burton's version that TAS.

Oh, I read it, and am aware of the influence Burtonman had on BTAS, but OP still looks more like a redesign of the latter than the former.

Burton's is less angular, more of an organic design. Nerd.

Out of all racecars, I've always felt the Group C / Le Mans Prototype cars embodied the "spirit" of the Batmobile. Seeing this thread, it's surprising to see that, besides some very superficial stuff, there's not much resemblance!

Oh well.

It does NOT look more like Burton's

...

I fucking love the old battering ram face. It's always been my favorite design style for the Batmobile. You see that face coming and you know your shit is gonna wrecked.

I also loved how future Damian kept it as a sweet bit of wall art in his Batcave.

Pic related my favorite Batmobile.

I really hate the Shumacher Batmobile, fucking ugly as sin. I am probably the only one who loved the Tumbler and i like the Snyder Batmobile as wel. Burton's and TAS are classics and for me the most Iconic

...

...

It's like someone took the Neon Talking Super Street Bat Luge and made it into a car.

Did he ...Take the joker's mouth as a trophy?

For me you can never top the Bat Bond approach of just arming and armoring a stupidly overpowered supercar but I always am in favor of keeping Batman street level

Hmm

Damian Wayne, motherfucker!

youtube.com/watch?v=MWvevkE0kAI

But how does it make turns dammit?!

This fuck doesn't know about grappling to light post to tear around corners.

comic book magic

...

It's probably like the BvS/Arkham Batmobiles which have full 360 degree control of the wheels to make ridiculous turns like that.

Fuck you, that's how.

They changed it ALREADY? I don't know why I'm even surprised.

Nice work blatantly referencing the TAS Batmobile. I'm not even being sarcastic. The addition of the battering ram is a really nice touch. Shame it gets pitched off a bridge soon afterwards.

There's never been a consistent Batmobile newfilth. Each artist just draws whatever thee fuck they want and they'll occasionally show that Bruce has a garage with like 100 different models in it.

Half the time I can never really remember what the current batmobile looks like because it seems like there's a new one in ever other issue.

you love that shit like my mom loves your mom, fagcuck

Holy shit I never realized they teased their being two Batmen at the same time so early

...

not really a fan of the face on the front. Maybe if it didn't have the eyes or something. I get that it's a reference to the old Batmobiles but its super cheesy.

>Wheels spinning
>Bat caps are still unblurred, and in upright position

gross

Looks like a cheap Arcadia ripoff.

Maaan, as a kid I had a shampoo bottle shaped like TAS Batmobile. It's front was the cap, so you could twist it the other way to have the curve on the bottom, a Bat-boat of sort. It was one of my favourite toys ever.
A fucking shampoo bottle as a toy... The other one was a hankerchief with a knot that looked sorta like dragon's head. And I wasn't even poor growing up.

Branding man.

I think I had that shampoo bottle too, it was freaking amazing.

It has grappling hook to make tight turns.

Grappling hook.

Why were the best toys rarely the "big box at christmas" toys?
I got a Batplane with Batman figure that shot a missile.
I honestly played with this 6 foot dowel more as a kid.
That was my sword, my wizard staff, fishing rod.
Until it got thrown away during a move by an oblivious relative.

this one user? im dying to know now cuz as a kid i would also use household items + my imagination to make toys. deodorants were spaceships cuz of the nozzle shape at the bottom...good times

No, it was literally a Batmobile. Of course simple shape and without any colors other than the base black plastic. But it was an actual licensed TAS Batmobile bottle.

He might have ejected because doing so would be faster for him to get to the plane. I mean, it's not like he hasn't made flying batmobiles before.

Wayne Industries invented the exact opposite of spinner rims hoping that it would take off. Unfortunately it never did but Bruce just bought out their entire stock and used them for his Batmobiles.

is that the rebirth batmobile thats pretty neat it could have been a lot better but most of the best batmobiles are movie batmobiles anyway

I thought that a thread for this topic would be comfy

was that monster truck batmobile one he kept for a while or did he just use it for certain special missions

I had this McDonalds water bottle.

its the fucking batmobile it will come out with only minor damage

you know take away the name and the colors and i could get behind the bat luge in the comics

did they ever actually make a toy for that

probably a combination of turning wheels and grappling hooks
we are making comics fun again after all

Oh shit, that was it!!

For all my life I remebered it being a shampoo bottle, maybe because I didn't have/lost the bike handle and played with the bottle in the bath.

Thank you user!

i could maybe see this getting used to cross large distances quickly when you cant take a plane but i wouldn't take it out on patrol.

pretty much
if you got an hour in the batmobile garage you would spend so much time trying to decide which one to steel you would get caught before your even halway through the list

Mothmobile > Batmobile

>This changes the character forever
>Greatest battle in the history of Batman

With every new big event, DC just copy pastes the exact same promotional lines.

Should i be worried about the writing talents of rebirth now? Because every time a DC writer says "This will change the character forever!!!" 3 months later, said character tends to be back to he status quo from before that particular arc.

Remember Supergirl's red lantern days? Yeah.. writer said the same thing. "This will change Kara forever" 3 months later she throws the ring away and goes straight back to regular Supergirl.

That's DC for ya.

I wish that was true but Damian still exists

That's a matter of opinion. But the Burtonmobile coming first is a fact.

neat

Really?
That issue says straight out that Batman died and Damian feels guilty over it. It shows that middle Batman on the ground, dead and implies heavily that the Batman there is Dick, and that's why Barbara hates him so much.

I always thought it was less of a tease, more bashing us over the head with a crowbar that says, "DICKBATS IS COMING"

They're called floaters and they've been around for ages.
youtube.com/watch?v=OUhy-DbmLjY

Love this one, and everything about it even the machine guns

Speaks to what a massive let down that movie was that the whole world already forgot about that one. Nolan's tumbler design totally defined the Batmobile for the era.

This is a fact. Google it. No one knows what the bat mobile looks like unless its relevant to the story arc.

I miss the railcar.

neat

That's such a fact and not an opinion at all...

I'm not really sure what kind of proof you're looking for but if you think Snyder's Batman interpretation had a tenth of the impact on pop culture that Nolan's did you're either delusional or too young to remember.

>...
MY GOD CHOCKE ON A WOODEN DICK WILL YA

He drifts like hell
youtube.com/watch?v=hxcB9bYayfc

Listen jerk off. Your not even being consistent with your own remarks. You weren't even saying the new whip is as iconic as the tumbler. You said some biased shit. Don't try and say a more reasonable statement after the fact and retroactively insert it as the basis for my comment shit for brains.

The new bat mobile is too similar to the classic movie cars to stick out at all in the public consciousness. The Tumbler is wicked famous.

You're both arguing the same point.

>You're wrong and I'll prove it by rewording your exact argument and presenting in opposition to yours!

im suprrised youtube lacks a built in function to put it back in reverse

People shat on the Nolanmobile when it was nee, but I always loved it. Always thought it was reminiscent of this bad motherfucker.

It's just a shame it didn't have a big flexible bat head.

It's really easy to hate an interpretation at the time because companies are so fucking gutless that they try to cram all portrayals of the characters into the same narrow peg to get some half assed version of brand integration but once some times passes you can look at the movies for what they are and appreciate them for their own interpretation of the material.

The Batman & Robin movie was a campy piece of shit that murdered Batman for a decade but watching it now and taking the movie for what it is instead of what it did it just feels like a harmless fun throwback to the Silver Age / Adam West show.

Not at all. It was a question of whether Snyder's bat mobile was interesting. Not any of this public consciousness bullshit. Which I would be stupid to think otherwise, the Nolan look is crazy mainstream. What are you talking about. I said homie was inconsistent as fuck, and even agreed with the later point.

Anyways that makes 3 morons so I'm done

Yep the whole world is stupid and you're a genius
