I can actually admit to this somewhat. However, my English is what it is due to the fact that I've been lurking and posting on messageboards since I was twelve. It's grim but it has helped tremendously. I basically thought myself English really.
Fortunately my parents enjoy watching shit-tier shows on the BBC so my English sounds much more British than American. Abroad people often think I'm from the U.K.
