what happened?

What is Harry sick with?

where is missoula again?

Yes.

Yellow Fever

what is going on here?

You have to watch Season 3 first

Dougie Jones

>tfw only 26 and starting to get gray hair

At least im not going bald and my hairline is great

Leland steals the show in every scene he's in.

Harry is doppleyellowed. Tough to recover from that.

Ray Wise aged like wine

what is this?

Rabbits.

>Suzie rabbit is voiced by Naomi Watts
K I N O

Tracey best girl

Which one is Suzie?

Huge fan of all things Lynchian, but this show needs a severe change of course and soon...

>another fag who doesn't like retard Coop
Wow, he truly is the best pleb filter.

I disagree.

...

...

...

...can we?

judy?

HELL GOD BABY DAMN NO

What's Cris Isaak up to?
Coudn't he find some time to shoot the new season

Daily reminder there are 13 grueling hours left of retard coop

still making music, otherwise nothing. if he did shoot anything for the new season it's being kept a secret

Does anybody here have $30? I'm in some pretty deep shit right now.

time to look for... alternate work

Indian Casinos are a cruel mistress.

Ok so I finished reading 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks, WTF is Mark Frost doing? It's AYYLIUMS, the Illuminati and Bigfoot now?

The fucking X-Files ruin everything

i was thinking the same thing while reading it. i want to read about twin peaks, not this alien and illuminati bullshit. i hope the final dossier is better

X-Files is fine. The problem is just Mark Frost.

Just a reminder of where we were at episode 5 of True Detective (the gold standard)...

I had a blast with the Audiobook, really immersive stuff but it had little to do with Twin Peaks

You're a flat circle.

>episode 5 of 8
>episode 5 of 18

true but this was as good as that show ever got

?????

i dont get it

>TD started orgasming its greatness at this point
>meanwhile we have hour after hour after hour after hour after hour of retard coop

TP has 18 episodes, TD 8 or something, you do the math

Maybe something similar to Dougie's trip to the black lodge and turning into an orb?

That's okay. No one gets it.

8 episodes of Gold vs what? 10 episodes of mastrerbatory filler & 8 episodes of Art?

Now I wonder what "The Final Dossier" will be like.

Just watched FWWM + Missing Pieces.

What the fuck happened to Jeffries?
Why did that monkey near ending say 'Judy?'?
What is the role of the ring?
Who was that lady when Desmond was drinking Good Mornin' America in the beginning?
What the hell white horse means?

Why did Laura feel like she had a multiple personality disorder? Was she already possessed by another Lodge entity?

youtube.com/watch?v=4u7UG6n5100
truly

as long as he gets the actors back for the audiobook, it'll be worth it

Pleb

I get it

True Detective was great but it doesn't approach art. Twin Peaks may not be as great but it has more artistic value.

>not wanting to live in gummo
also
>using a late 90s movie about a town fucked up by a tornado to counteract someone's assessment of early 90s culture

>still making music
Lies.

>8 episodes of Gold
Fool's gold, maybe.

Does anyone here think 18 episodes is way too many episodes for one season?

Not at the pace it's currently going, and no I'm not saying the pace is a bad thing.

>people thought this show was going to be good
>tfw I've watched all 5 episodes and I'm bored out of my fucking MIND

this baby is crashing. I'll give it 2 more episodes and if nothing happens, I'm out.

t. someone who has watched all of lynche's work

>Lynche

janey-e really could be suzy, i don't think we'll know how similar to inland empire this season is until near the end

So what are you patricians going to do when The Real Cooper returns next episode?

his last album came out in 2015 user

Mulholland Drive (Audrey Horne Goes To Hollywood), so far is infinitely a more complete, compelling, artistic work and it did it in 2hrs. An architect once told me, if you want to see my creativity, give me limits.

I appreciate the pace the show is unfolding at and it's been fantastic so far, but it's very frustrating having to wait a week in between each episode when things are unfolding so slowly. This would've been one of the few shows better served by the Netflix bingewatch ready release method.

This. Modern TV is a fucking scam. 50 hours of GOT has nothing on say the Godfather or Shawshank. It's amazing how 2-3 hour films can tell you more about characters/settings than these time sink TV shows.

Throw a tantrum and bomb Lynch's house of course.

If it's well made, I'll enjoy it.

>What the fuck happened to Jeffries?
he teleported through time and space causing him some distress

>Why did that monkey near the end sa—
We're not going to talk about Judy.

>What is the role of the ring?
In some way it seems to prevent possession by BOB, either directly or indirectly.

>Who was that lady when Desmond was drinking coffee
A nosy nelly.

>What the hell the white horse means?
What do you think?

>Why did Laura seem to have MPD?
In Lynch's works there is always the collision of disparate worlds. Light and dark, real and imagined, pretense and veracity. Laura was the focal point of these forces in Twin Peaks at that time. In her manifested all these forces, which eventually tore her apart.

>This would've been one of the few shows better served by the Netflix bingewatch ready release method.

Netflix shows get discussed for 1 week and then fade away, you can't even have generals for it, very uncomfy

>way too many episodes for one season?
Depends on the story, depends on the storyteller.

Kind of irrelevant. I generally don't care much for Netflix's method of dropping it all at once, but for something like this, which was written and filmed as one long story and only split up into episodes later, it would've been appropriate.

Admit it reddit, you're shilling for a dead show here. Time to go back.

I disagree. I don't want a 6-hour movie and then 12 hours of deleted scenes I'm going to watch anyway because I want to fucking know everything Lynch was thinking.

The first time is always painful.

>board filled with wonder woman posts and other capeshit
>telling Lynch fans to go back

fuck off nigger

Make me, mr. clearlynotanewfagtryingtofitinbycallingpeopleredditormaybeyourejustbaitingidontknowfuckyou

James is still cool.

Those actually get to the point in less than 2.5 hours
go BACK!

Don't ride the white horse.

This season is fantastic so far... I reject all criticism. It's criticism founded by disappointed expectations/hopes, not by the quality of the season itself. Lynch is playing out all of his strengths. All of them. He's giving them time and space.

Reminder that aliens with laser guns are canon.

I'm not saying I'd literally punch Mark Frost in the face if I met him, but if I ever met Mark Frost I'd punch him in the face.

Back where? Back to MISSOULA!?

The cow jumped over the moon.

LYNCHED

>this completed film is more complete than these 5 out of 18 episodes
What makes you say that?

What!?!? No!

I have literally never been on Reddit; old fag here. If I want multiple episodes of Dougie Jones, I can always watch CNN.

It's canon that Shaver and Crissman wrote about aliens with laser guns, just like it is in real life. The book seems to heavily imply that what we think are aliens are from the lodges.

Didn't Joe Rogan have some guests awhile back who believe in Lemurians and other highly advanced civilizations?

I wish all talk of politics was banned from Sup Forums desu

>there are people who don't realise how much Frost contributed to the series
>there are people who didn't like The Secret History
>there are people to close-minded to realise that the alien stuff is part of something much larger

...

Something much larger?
Like what, your mom?

Is the Mark Frost book /lit/ approved?

When is it coming out?

We are a little beyond 1/3 of the way into Twin Peaks, Season 3...as a point of reference, watch 42mins of Mulholland Drive(1/3 of the way into it) and compare the sense of intrigue.

I think it's after the season is over

/lit/ here, The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a piece of information was presented, the FBI agent wrote the note "Verified -TP."

I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Frost's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Mark Frost. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading The Secret History of Twin Peaks by MARK FROST at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to watch the second half of season 2." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "The Secret History of Twin Peaks by MARK FROST" you are, in fact, trained to watch the second half of season 2.

yeah, lol, I didn't even know Doug Milford had been introduced in the show, then I remembered it was the old dude who died of an heart attack during sex
