Hope edition
/éire/
First for despair
Despair is a no-no.

the avatarfagging I can deal with but my god you losers have the worst conversations.
>praying for a weeb free /éire/ in 2018
Do really think that's realistic?
>but my god you losers have the worst conversations.
Better than having no conversations at all. For all the complaining people like you do, you never actually constructively contribute to starting or maintaining conversations.
Good edition. I love hope.

>Farage-backed 'Irexit' conference branded a 'sham' promoting 'incorrect information'
It'll be fun to see all the "Irish Nationalists" turning out to support a man who knows nothing about Ireland and only cares about the UK.
>only cares about the UK
Perhaps he wants some sort of Anglospheric union with the US and a few other countries?
You'd never know desu, we should tread carefully.
>You'd never know desu, we should tread carefully.
Well, we do have a lot of idiots in this country, but I'm confident that Irexit will go nowhere. Not only a re we the most Pro-EU nation in Western Europe, but "Irexit" is an awful word with zero marketability.
So lonely
>saying 12pc instead of 12.5pc means it's a sham
Truly we are living in the golden age of yellow journalism.
>Not only a re we the most Pro-EU nation in Western Europe
I seriously hope you don't consider that a good thing. First our culture was destroyed by the vikings killing Brian Boru, then by the anglos oppressing our people, now by the politicians in Germany bringing in loads of immigrants who know nothing about Ireland.
>"Irexit" is an awful word with zero marketability
I agree, Éirexit is much better.
I'm not in the mood for arguing for the merits of EU membership. Not that it matters anyway because Irexit/Éirexit is never going to happen. Unlike the UK, there's nowhere near enough latent distaste for the EU among the Irish populace.
Keep sucking up to some Little Englander if you think it will further your "cause", but all you're doing is wasting your time and tarnishing your "Irish Nationalist" credentials.
Happy new year /éire/
You think that we'll be able to send some humans to Mars in our lifetime?
>inb4 "I don't plan on seeing the 2020s in my lifetime"
Didn't NASA already send a colony to Mars a few years ago? I remember hearing about it, it was 9 people or something. Could be remembering wrong though.
>Didn't NASA already send a colony to Mars a few years ago
No.
Believe you are thinking about the insane Dutchman who wants to send people on a one-way trip to Mars and then turn it into a reality TV series
Good edition.
Anyone watching the rugby? Hoping for Connacht and Munster wins.
>Anyone watching the rugby
Wasn't planning to but maybe I'll tune into the Munster game later? Where's it on, Belfast?
>Where's it on, Belfast?
It is. Hopefully we start a bit better than the last day.
Seems like Ulster are really in the doldrums these days, they lost fairly badly to Connacht last week didn't they?
That incessant chanting of "stand up for the Ulster men" drives me mental.
>That incessant chanting of "stand up for the Ulster men" drives me mental.
What does it even mean?
I watched that game and they were humiliated, the scoreline actually flattered them, Connacht were rusty or they would have broken records. Heard their UAFC forum crashed afterwards such was the scale of angry nordies turning up to complain.
Things will get worse for them soon too since Lealiifano is going back home this month so they'll only have kids to play at 10 thanks to Paddy Jacksons antics. They shouldn't have too much to chant about anytime soon.
>1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1

Are you cereal?
Do you really think that was me or are you just shitposting?

Happy New Year to Luxburger and all my Irish friends.
Thanks. Have a great year, Karen
Happy new year Karen.
Went to a private 5 star restaurant with my senpai for new years dinner. There was a few cute rich weird girls.
>Went to a private 5 star restaurant
Wait, aren't all restaurants private by default?
Private estate. Membership only.
Bourgeoisie out ree
>he doesn't dine at the publicly funded soup kitchen
Commies out also
>brit new-retard comes along and takes the meme seriously
/éire/ is a commie general, without question.
I wish I had the confidence to attract girls and keep them entertained.
Wish the increasing trend of people becoming technologically enveloped and losing interest in real life social obligations, the declining birthrate and fading social skills how do you think we will function in the near future?
Perhaps we'll see more girls appear online in traditionally male spaces, or perhaps we will just stay separated.
>implying
>or perhaps we will just stay separated.
I sure hope so.
Why do you hope that? Bonus points if you can give a reason that doesn't involve sexism.
You Irish must had developed a love for starvation after the potato famine.
Meh, what ever suits you plebs. Not my problem.
>sure hope so
Sounds a bit sexist. That sort of thing doesn't belong in a commie general.
>Germanic monarch
Reminder to ignore all br*t posters and do not acknowledge them.
>Why do you hope that?
Women are allowed have spaces are just for women. Why can't men have the same?
Wait, so you're an actual Brit?
What possible value could female posters bring to /éire/ for example?
>Why can't men have the same?
They can. I never suggested otherwise. Sup Forums and the majority of the internet we browse and use that are male dominated are not specific male spaces.
Oops...
You say this like female posters are a total different species to male ones.
Answer: The same value male posters bring to /éire/.
>What possible value could female posters bring to /éire/
What's the difference between a male and female poster? Sure aren't we all similarly minded people?
I think the biggest disruption about female posters being here are the male posters who hate women kicking up a fuss.
Really we wouldn't notice any difference until it came up in a conversation. Thats when the incel-rage would kick off.
>are male dominated are not specific male spaces.
Might as well be though.
>male posters who hate women kicking up a fuss
Are there people who actually dislike or despise women? Why?
I can understand maybe disliking some sort of up in your face radical feminist, but your bog standard woman?
But the Brits civilised us. It's our duty to be polite to them
>Thats when the incel-rage would kick off.
What the hell is your obsession with "incels"?
>civilised us
Didn't know going around trading slaves was a part of being civilised. Who knew desu!
Women are predisposed to drama and bitchy behaviour and lack tolerance.
>I think the biggest disruption about female posters being here are the male posters who hate women kicking up a fuss.
I think we'd have the opposite problem. Desperate anons would start fawning over the female posters. I've seen it happen in a couple of online communities I was a member of in the past.
Fuck off, Brit with a VPN. The Celts were far more civilised than your people will ever be.
>predisposed to drama and bitchy behaviour and lack tolerance
Wow, sounds like they would fit in perfectly here in /éire/!
>Perhaps we'll see more girls appear online in traditionally male spaces, or perhaps we will just stay separated.
There already are a lot of women in gaming and anime communities elsewhere, it's just the particular attitudes on this site and places like it that turn many off or encourage pretending to be a male to blend in and avoid discrimination.
I'd be more concerned that AA would white knight them constantly.
Different kind of drama though. We don't have white-knighting on /éire yet thankfully.
>anons would start fawning over the female posters
Could see that being an issue alright, thought it might be a slight improvement over the weirdos here craving boi pussy or whatever.
I hope we get it soon desu.
Slavery was a big part of most civilisations. We only had the luxury of ditching it when we were able to match the necessary productivity levels it gave us by using inventions from the industrial revolution
I am a Gael
That's the kind of thing I was talking about when I said "fawning".
>newfags taking the brit bait.
typical.
Why? White-knighting objectively isn't a good thing as I'm sure most people here would agree.
>oldfag seniority
Retard
>thought it might be a slight improvement over the weirdos here craving boi pussy or whatever.
That rarely happens here to be honest. It's usually just oldfags ERPing and it's not that common.
An awful lot of people on Sup Forums cannot operate outside their safe space. Women, black people, muslims, trans, vegans, frequenting Reddit or tumblr, having a partner. They're so fragile virtually anything that diverges from "people like me" sets them off. They'd rather see the site burn than accept any of those people into their circle so things get very aggressive and disruptive very quickly.
That's right. And not one thanks out of the Irish for it. Instead we get back-stabbed. Yet we still welcome you home despite all the home wrecking you've done, because you are still our child, Ireland.
Come home to the United Kingdom. I made your favourite for dinner, Potatoes and cabbage.
>weirdos here craving boi pussy
When has this ever happened here?
And? Not every online community has to be the exact same in terms of demographics.
The problem is there are lots of people here that would get very aggressive and shout white knight even if somebody was purely being friendly with a girl.
The incels themselves would get jealous.
On second thought, maybe its a good thing if we don't have girls here. They don't need to experience the negativity and abuse they'd get.
>The incels themselves would get jealous.
There's that word again. Are you projecting by any chance?
>On second thought, maybe its a good thing if we don't have girls here
We're in agreement then.
Worst thread of 2018.
Well things like that Yank looking for an Irish BF is what I'm referring to.
This isn't a DUP social club. There's no reason to start pushing identity politics onto an anime and video games website.
>There's that word again. Are you projecting by any chance?
I've used it a total of 2 times. I'm not even sure how the first time I've used that word counts as an obsession.
>Are you projecting by any chance?
I don't know, am I? You're very quick to jump the gun on this.
>We're in agreement then.
That's called sarcasm.
>implying any woman would be interested in participating in /éire/ in the first place
This entire conversation is pointless.
You can't force people to make Sup Forums into a hugbox though.
It would be a good way to weed out the failed normies from the tru-neets. The latter would have no interest in forming relationships with 3D so their behaviour wouldn't be affected.
>This entire conversation is pointless
It serves the purpose of shitposting the thread, which is what the poster wanted.
Give me some time to change that desu.
That might change as the demographics of internet communities change in the coming years. Who knows.
Not really something to worry or think about for the moment though.
A girl used to post here and no one cared.
>shitposting the thread
What? We're just having a perfectly normal discussion.
Basically this. Lets just admit we're all social misfits, horrible people, and total rejects.
We don't even like each other so why would anybody divergent from our social standing want to come here?
Being realistic we probably all look horrendously ugly and have poor social skills in real life too.
Acceptance is the first step.
>I used to post here pretending to be a girl and no one cared.
I'm not sure any man is either. I get the sense from a couple of you at least that you actively hate this place and participate because it's the only place that will accept you without bannings, ignores or downvoting.
>The latter would have no interest in forming relationships with 3D so their behaviour wouldn't be affected.
Well, maybe posting more anime to remind people of the inferiority of 3D.
Personally I don't think /éire/ has anything to offer women anyway, so it's a pointless concern.
