Is this only finnish thing or do you have these in your country

Is this only finnish thing or do you have these in your country

>fairy

we have a rack to the side of our sink like pic related.

this

have it

Same. Putting them in the cupboard is barbaric.

same

It's not a cupboard, it's a dish drying cabinet.

Niggers

Seems like they would waste a lot of space on the dish table

I don't understand the 'problem'. Is the bottom of the cabinet hollow?

That's retarded.

The constant humidity at the bottom will ruin the wood in no time.

It will probably also start smelling like shit after a while if left closed.

umm try agen sweaty

You didn't answer my post, but the rude congolombian. But now my doubt is clear.

I don't think I have seen it in Spain. It is a good invention. Saves space and work.

lol no

So now you have water dripping everywhere and not only in a tray like this

Seen this multiple times in baltic states and in older places here.

I think it's awful.

What's so awful about it? It looks like the people who hate it have also a lot of misconceptions about it

Yes.
And you can put the ugly disho*Ds straight into the cupboard without keeping them in an ugly tr*Yoid and you can have beautiful minimalist kitchen.

Have both a drying drawer and a rack on the side of the sink for stuff that wouldn't fit. What's so amazing about it that you need a thread to discuss drying drawers?

No, plenty of houses have that in Italy, maybe just the newest one don't
Score another point for the Italian-Finnish alliance

It drips straight into the sink. It's even better.
It is the greatest invention ever made by mankind. Only people with IQ less than 60 don't understand this. Don't be one of those people. HAIL THE MIGHTY DRYING CUPBOARD

Truly the Greatest ally.

Because it invites mold and leaves limescale marks everywhere. Also it just looks lazy and uninviting to take a dish from there.

>It drips straight into the sink

Not in OPs pic. I also doubt your sink starts where the wall ends so this wouldn't completely drip into the sink.

Stop defending shitty design just because it looks le minimalistic xd

>Because it invites mold and leaves limescale marks everywhere
That's a misconception, they will dry out completely because they're placed upside down. Also limescale marks? Only if you're using dishes made in Soviet Union
>Also it just looks lazy and uninviting to take a dish from there
Why? Do you think that because it's located so high? It's not like you're going to break your arms raising them to above your head-level to pick up a glass or a plate. If anything that's a good physical workout.

actually someone doesnt have those?
a single layer is better tho

Yes, according to wikipedia they are most common in Finland, Sweden, Italy and Spain and haven't spread so much to other countries

>invites mold
It doesn't, or you're doing something very wrong
>leaves limescale marks
Water is naturally MUCH softer in Finland than in UK
>looks lazy and uninviting
One does not bring friends into the kitchen to observe mundane tasks, it's kitchen, it's supposed to be as practical as possible

what is the option in the rest of the world? ignoring the leaving dish in dishwater option

Dishwasher. When its done open the door and the hot dishes makes the little leftover water evaporate, most of it you can take out at once. The few things that needs a manual washing i dry them with a cloth and put into their proper place at once. Dont want to waste my space on a fucking stupid drying cabinet.

Let the dishwasher dry the dishes, use a tea towel to dry the odd bit that didn't dry properly, put everything away in a normal cupboard.

>waste my space
Another misconception.
It saves space, you can fit more dishes (like plates) in a drying cupboard than a normal one. Stacking them horizontally might actually waste space rather than save it.
It also doesn't matter what size or shape your plates are, most plates fit well into this kind of drying cupboard.

We need to combine again to create another Anna Falchi

This argument always makes me realize how fucking dumb non-finns are.

>putting wet objects in a wooden cabinet

Ripping out one of my already overfull cupboards to install a dedicated drying cupboard saves space? Its time to put down the vodka pekka, you have had enogh. Also why dont you have a dishwasher instead?

I'm with you, buddy. It's the rest that are mad.

Its like 1 drop every 5 second. It doesnt get wet at the bottom. I had one of theese at my last place and its way better than having a shitty dyring rack taking up space.

We genetic baltoids truly are alone in this stupid world. Just look at this brainlet

what is finnish about it?

Pretty common. This is muh home

based italy

I have it. Common sight around here.

MOLTO BENE

Using this instead. When the sun is out, they'll be put under the sun.

>poor fags who can't afford dishwashers

>dish drying cabinet
more like mushroom growing cabinet
even in fuckin wiki
>Molds cause biodegradation of natural materials, which can be unwanted when it becomes food spoilage or damage to property.

Yeah, I've never heard of this. I use a dishwasher that dries the dishes. If you don't have a dishwasher (generally small apartments where the kitchen doesn't have room for a lot of appliances), you might use a drying rack instead like but that's it.

Yea we know what molds are. But they don't grow in dish drying cabinets

We have a dishwasher

why inside a cabinet?

same

Yes

Not really

get some proper mugs and plates for the love of god, they look awful

>he doesn't have a dishwasher that automatically dries the dishes after cleaning them

I really like this idea....

Show us more Finnish ingenuity

How functional!
But a little dishes For family.(; ・`д・´)
