It's what the producers want. Brian Tyler wanted to use some themes from the first Thor movie (different composer) but he was told no. He snuck a melody or two in there anyway, but he is the only composer who tried to incorporate any sort of musical continuity in the MCU.

It has no replayability either, so in 15-30 years, those movies will probably be on the cultural limbo, forgotten.
