I used to work with a guy who called himself a "religious scholar" and celebrates his own, personal branch of Christianity. Bragged about reading the Quran and such, probably a single time, probably just skimming. Never attended anything beyond high school, and I kind of suspect he didn't finish high school. Thinks he's enlightened, and is an authority on all world religions.
