Why isn't there much of a Survivor community on Sup Forums? Big Brother always seems to have generals during the summer. I know Survivor fans are out there, the show dominates its timeslot on Wednesday nights.
5 or 6 years ago Big Brother had Ian, a full-on Sup Forumsedditor, who ended up winning that season.
Once Survivor has One Of Us show up as a contestant a community will probably rise, but until then Big Brother is /ourshow/
Joseph Kelly
There are live threads literally every episode.
Cooper Edwards
Really? Every time I come on there never seems to be one. Are there never any threads during the off-season? I assume spoilers are rampant in those threads tho lol I'll give Sup Forums a shoutout when I get on lol
Ryder Williams
i want to be a harem whore for these studs except the back guy of course je can just watch
Jeremiah Phillips
lol at the third from the left sucking his gut in
Elijah Smith
Gotta look sexy for the cast photos
Lucas Peterson
I like survivor but that season where they fucking laid it all out for Boston Rob to win was terrible, it was pretty much just Boston Rob hanging out with fans until he got a check for 1 million.
Also Zeke is the only convincing trap i have ever actually seen. Legit thought he was some ultra feminine gay dude.
And the game only really gets interesting once the merge/jury happens
Thomas Turner
Yeah, Redemption Island isn't a well regarded season for a good reason.
And Zeke had me fooled until people on Reddit dug into his past life and outed him on the subreddit (then got pissed at Varner for doing the same on TV lol)
Cameron Kelly
that show has such an untapped source of great memes, it saddens me that it so overlooked here, and I wish BB fags would stop shitting up Survivor threads
Brayden Powell
It sucks when the best place to talk about Survivor is the fucking subreddit. >pls be super nice also we love black women characters the best 4 some reason #gays4cirie :)
Hunter Parker
going to that fucking subreddit angers me to no fucking end, man the hypocrisy over there... but the AMAs are usually interersting, so there's that...
but still not as bad as Survivor Sucks
Brandon Miller
Like, they're good for discussing information with and speculating. But they're all so easily offended. They're such giant pussies who get their feelings hurt all the god damn time. And they're super leftist. Even though I generally don't care about politics, it seems to bleed into their opinions. Always pro-woman, pro-minority to an overbearing extent
I never go on Sucks. What's the culture?
Nathaniel Morales
feminist shitposting
Nathaniel Lopez
Really? I kind of assumed Sucks was more right and politically incorrect just based off the forum design. I kind of grouped it in with Sup Forums because it seemed so rough around the edges with a lot more shitposting
Alexander Nelson
It's stale and predictable.
John Taylor
Watching either of these shit shows should result in an instant lynching. Go open a book faggets.
Jaxson Cruz
I can understand having the opinion of it being stale since there's 34 seasons, but I wouldn't call it predictable. I'd say 20% of the seasons have a winner that was predicted. And the editors do a good job of hiding who goes home each week. Suck a dick bitch
Dylan Ramirez
Any good stuff happens in the last two seasons?
Juan Sanders
Season 34 had a lot of really intense strategy, and someone got outed as trans during a tribal council. Season 33 also had a lot of good strategy and it had a rock draw, which has only happened 3 times ever
Jose Cruz
>"""reality""" tv
Jace Sanders
>he thinks Survivor is fake Okay kid. Nothing is real. Everything is a lie. Don't you have some Anonymous YouTube videos to watch?
Wyatt Adams
>he thinks Survivor is real
Brody Jones
Yeah what an idiot. They're obviously well fed, paid actors who sleep in hotels at night, amirite???
Gavin Rodriguez
What is not real about it? Do you think they are following a script and already know who is going to win? Of course there is set up moments, bs editing, and have medical staff near, but that has never been a secret.
Jace Cooper
Lmao good one bro. Look at this guy. He played 2 seasons back to back but looks the exact same. Smh CBS isn't even TRYING
Juan Parker
Game Changers was horse shit barring Michaela and the 3rd episode. I really hope the producers have learned their lesson about mixing literal who's with GOATs.
David Edwards
Agreed. The worst part is, the post-merge was actually kind of good. But why the fuck would you give a fuck about Andrea or Sierra when you know that they're useless and boring? If this was an all-newbie season, it'd be a lot better.
Also Tony got voted out in the first episode so fuck this season
Easton Nguyen
1. Last season sorta was a let down
2. there are threads every damn episode
Gabriel Gomez
are you just baiting because that guy looks like he's lost a lot of weight. never watched the show btw.
Gavin Phillips
I'm being really sarcastic to the guy who called it fake
Caleb Young
Which survivors do you want to see play again? I think Savage deserves one more go at it
Ryan Davis
I like Savage, but I feel like he had a perfect arc. Also I'd like to have Tony back literally every season if possible lol
Jack Howard
He deserves a shot at redemption
Brayden Bennett
It just pisses me off when people deserve to win (russel) and don't , and then there are people who don't do anything and ride coattails and just win ( Sandra). Seriously Sandra pisses me off more than any survivor in the history of the show, just because the show hypes her up to be some super strategic mastermind when this is far from the case. She won twice with no strategy other then "Hey this guy was mean! Also I'm a minority and Girl Power!". She didn't survive to the end because of strategy on her part, it was because better players than her deemed her a sheep and WANTED her in final 3 with them. Take someone like Parvati though, who is a renowned coat tail rider. Her strategy I respect because she manipulated her way to ride coat tails and used strategy.
Also just watched Game Changers season and thought the elimination with Circi was dumb. I KNEW that there were just too many idols and "game changer awards" that the crew/staff fucked up big time. But isn't the rule that if it's a tie than those that didn't get a vote get thrown in the voting (even those with immunity) ? So wouldn't that mean that the voting should have been done again with nobody immune. I just felt like the show didn't know what to do here.
Oliver Martinez
Uhh...
Jacob Baker
Tony should have never won his first season to begin with. The only way super aggressive players like this win , is when everyone else is dumb.
Thomas Morales
because reality TV fucking sucks and got old and boring a decade ago.
Kevin Garcia
Reality tv is literally for morons
Luis Baker
I'm not a huge fan of Sandra's gameplay, but that's a gross misrepresentation lmao. How much Survivor have you watched? It seems like you have no idea about this game
Kevin Richardson
There's a difference between shit like the Kardashians and Survivor. Survivor is a social and strategic survival game where people have to manipulate and strategize their way to victory. It's not about some dumb bitch getting breast implants
Liam Martinez
What? The Cagayan cast wasn't dumb. Literally everyone who has been on Cagayan has made it to the final 3 at some point. The merge boot recently fucking won her season with amazing gameplay. Tony won because he's that fucking good and he had a super loyal ally in Trish
Elijah Clark
>How much Survivor have you watched?
every season
And No , what I said was completely accurate. She has no strategy. It's not like she even pretends she is weak. She has NO social game. She has NO physical game ( I don't believe she ever won a challenge). And she has NO strategy.
Aiden Johnson
How are Tribe Switches even fair?
>get put into two tribes >work your ass off making alliances >winning challenges, other tribe weak , strong central alliance, and doing everything right >all of a sudden "lel random tribe swap" >you get put on other tribe by yourself with 5 other strangers in strong alliance >they lose the next immunity challenge on purpose >vote you off and nothing you can do
Tell me how this is fair at all
Hunter Long
You should know that in "Circi's" elimination, she was the only one eligible to receive votes. If you have an idol played or have individual immunity, you are not going home no matter what.
And Sandra played on Russell's delusions and acted like she was a goat, even though she had great relationships with most of the Heroes and Villains in the jury. Survivor is a SOCIAL game. She was able to make almost everyone like her. And don't say she has no strategy when in the same season she convinced Russell to vote out Coach AND Courtney over her. She got the most votes at the end because she was the only one out of the 3 that wasn't a asshole or bitch.
Bentley Powell
Survivor isn't always fair. There's plenty of situations where you can get out of it, depending on the circumstances. They generally do tribe swaps because for a while it just ended up being the larger tribe at the merge would knock out the smaller tribe, leaving a stretch of boring episodes where there's no power shifts.
Austin Baker
Who /braziliandragon/ here?
Dylan Sanders
I stopped watching Survivor when they started doing the "lets switch around the team members because we don't like the way the game is going" shit.
Now, a Challenge general thread I'm down for.
Jonathan Anderson
>leaving a stretch of boring episodes where there's no power shifts.
So basically it's less about the game than entertaining viewers? Oddly enough that's why it sucks. The Patriots coming back from 4 touchdowns was fun. The Patriots coming back because the NFL took a bunch of Falcons players off the field isn't.
Gavin Harris
>there people that don't like Sandra
Your life must suck
Angel Russell
we have had survivor treads here on Sup Forums during every airing for the last many years
Samuel Sanders
>mfw when Rus was talking strategy to Rob with Sandra there and Rus with the straightest faces says they should vote off Sandra
one of the most savage moments on the show
Josiah Watson
It's about both. Things like tribeswaps raises the level of gameplay during a season. Like Hidden Immunity idols, these things advance the meta
Tyler Davis
tribe swaps are the way for producers to manipulate the game (mostly to prevent pagonging) similar to retired Pandora's Box in Big Brother.
Worst offenders of this were second swaps in All Stars where production tried to split Romber and Gabon where production fucked over Onions.
Skupin is lucky he even got a second run. I heard he was supposed to be on All Stars, spoiled it and got cut, then told everyone after Philippines that he won.
Evan Ramirez
skeletor should play again
Blake Myers
Survivor is the only reality show I like, I always come to check the threads here after I watch it (can't watch it live because I'm not from the US)
Who are your favorite survivors, Sup Forums?
Elijah Myers
Un-ironically one of my favorite survivors is Coach. Never got the hate the fan base gave him. Felt like I was the only person that found him funny and entertaining.
Luke Perez
in order from left to right
Chase Nguyen
Unironically Abi Maria. Michaela is my 2nd fave
Mason Perry
based Chris "I am just laying in the hammock" Daugherty
Lucas Sullivan
Post survivors that will never be good enough to win Survivor
Wyatt Roberts
>rewatching
Nigga you what now
Aiden Peterson
Sadly, Cirie. She'll never get a chance at finale, she's good enough, but no one will let her get there.
Parv's my favorite
He was all right in Heroes vs. Villans. Phillip is the only Survivor that has no fans, at least that's what I think. I'll never understand why they brought him back. He's not entertaining at all.
Christian Green
until they fixed this flawed game, Russell ain't winning
Brody Wilson
Ami > Morgan > Sarah (Rob's girlfriend not dyke cop) for hottest survivor girls
Isaac Harris
She's basically the Charlie Brown of Survivor
Evan Sullivan
>tfw cant win if they dont let you play
Justin Kelly
>duke cop
The only thing more surprising than her being straight is her being a Trump supporter
John Young
...
Chase Gray
Is that the annoying girl who always goes on about how "People don't understand how much this show changes you" and how she is better than her friends at home and deserves more respect than war veterans for being on Survivor. She is cringey AF
Lincoln Phillips
I get parvati is one of the hottest girls on the show, but she seems like the type that would cheat on her significant other with no guilt. No loyalty basic bitch.
Jack White
...
Dylan Murphy
I'm glad that everyone who voted for Natalie over Russell in Samoa never returned to play the game. We don't need people who don't uphold the integrity of the game and give a vote to someone undeserving like Natalie just because you are bitter. I really think this was an executive decision by Jeff and to deter future jury's from just bitter voting.
Asher Williams
Laura Monett came back for Blood vs Water
Gabriel Taylor
Laura Morett came back for Blood vs Water. Also Samoa jury wasn't really bitter, Russel looked like an idiot on Erik's boot wasting his idol and his pathetic attempts at jury management with Dave and Brett just alienated them. Also the same Laura Morett spread rumours in jury that Russel was given idols by production so Galus didn't respect him that much. Revealing that he is already a millionaire didn't help either.
Nolan Wright
>she will never smash her milfy boobs on your back while giving you a massage
why live
Logan Cooper
You're probably too young to remember but Survivor 1 and 2 were phenomenons, even with Pagonging. I really started to lose interest once that tribe swap shit started. I'd rather watch one team dominate (with the soon to be voted out members scrambling like crazy to make some insane deals/alliances) than have the producers rig the game so it's more "fair".
I watched a few seasons ago and one team was doing really well winning immunity challenges. But then I realized "it doesn't matter, they're just gonna switch them up so all these wins are for nothing".
James Gonzalez
And he got busted with child porn lol
Jaxon Adams
this
i agree with this 100% like in last few seasons people would vote challenge beasts out in pre-merge because "lol, there is going to be swap in next few days anyways, better get rid of him now" literally zero reasons to try in challenges
Oliver Barnes
Gonna work on my audition tape next month. Any good idea's.. I heard they like it best when you are acting natural and not doing over the top stuff. I'll post the video on Sup Forums when it's finished in a survivor thread for some free views :)
Jayden Morales
They were phenomenons because that was the first time they put a bunch of random people on an island and made them live with each other before. I've rewatched Borneo and Australia recently and the Pagonging stretch is boring. Also, I wouldn't call it unfair since the people who are swapped are essentially random almost all of the time. >literally zero reasons to try in challenges If you win the challenge, you don't go to tribal council?? Are you fucking retarded?
Juan Hughes
I've heard that you have to be overenthusiastic to have a good camera presence. That's what Dan Gheesling said at least
Carson Lewis
Was watching Ulong tribe completely obliterated that fun? I get why they're doing swaps and it's obvious someof these swaps are done to save production sweethearts but sometimes it's fun to see the shifting dynamics
Good luck, watch some tapes of those that got in if you need ideas
Luke Foster
>They were phenomenons because that was the first time they put a bunch of random people on an island and made them live with each other before.
The Real World was similar, but without the island. What made Survivor great was the fact that you were voting each other out every week (hence the name, "Survivor").
>I've rewatched Borneo and Australia recently and the Pagonging stretch is boring. I'd rather watch boring than rigged.
>Also, I wouldn't call it unfair since the people who are swapped are essentially random almost all of the time. Everytime I've seen it happen it benefits one particular group massively and changes the entire dynamic of the game. The producers use it at just the right moment. If it was done one every season at week 7, it would be more fair at least. Now it's, "team A is winning and it's week 10, better swap teh tribes lol!"
Robert Nelson
>Was watching Ulong tribe completely obliterated that fun?
I don't remember that season (didn't watch most of them), but as I said I'd rather watch a fair game with boring stretches than a rigged game that's "exciting".
Chase Sullivan
desu that season was rigged as well, they specifically postponed the merge from 10 to 9 so viewers would see an "epic" firemaking challenge between two last standing Ulong members.
Brayden Jackson
cookies
Easton Cook
You want to go on Ghost Island (season 36)?
Owen Davis
Ghost Island left for filming weeks ago homie. They're casting for season 37 and 38 in the fall
Jace Fisher
Borneo was also "rigged". The producer literally came to the beach and suggested to Dirk and Sean to vote Stacey Stillman off instead of Rudy, so they wouldn't lose the older audience.
And the final team immunity challenge before the merge just happened to only use 4 members from each tribe (even though Tagi had 5 and Pagong had 6). And it was an obstacle course too. They could've easily put 5 from each tribe in the challenge (like they're supposed to)
They did a similar thing in Australia where they had the teams run in a maze, but had all 7 of Kucha unfairly run the challenge instead of 5 like Ogakor, giving Ogakor an advantage so they'd have a better shot at getting 5/5 at the merge
Ayden Torres
i dont know how anyone can pretend this last season wasnt gold
it had the best tribals of any season and you cannot dispute it
cry more
Ryder Gray
>season 37 and 38
Man, I still wonder if I'll still be into Survivor when they air. Still annoyed by Game Changers and burned out by Survivor Australia AND I still need to watch Survivor NZ
Christopher Williams
I liked it, but the editing was bad and having all the real game changers go home left a bad taste in my mouth
Justin Rivera
>Borneo was also "rigged". The producer literally came to the beach and suggested to Dirk and Sean to vote Stacey Stillman off instead of Rudy, so they wouldn't lose the older audience.
If that worked so well why have this tribe swapping shit?
You're basically taking an anecdote (or maybe some sour grapes stories) and making it fact.
Jacob Davis
It was ok, editing was kinda bad because you knew Sarah was going to win early on. Another problem is that 75% of the cast wasn't deserving of the title "game changer" or to even come back a second, third or forth time. And some interesting people got voted out early
Aaron Parker
A trap? On TV? Episode where?
Robert Perez
Any season where Sierra and Andrea are threats is a season that should be burned with fire. Brad fucking himself over was hilarious. I'd give anything to have been with him and Monica when they watched the season back week to week. Also, if Deb ever plays again I'm dropping Survivor completely
He's a returning player and he went his entire first season without anyone in the game or in the audience knowing that he was born female.
Connor Mitchell
This is certainly not an anecdote, Stacey sued CBS and they settled lawsuit out of court, which means they were scared of losing and decided just to give her the money.
That whole "Brad would win against Tai after tie" is BS, most of the jury in general didn't like Brad, he is also a millionaire so they wouldn't want to give him the money. Both Monica and Brad lost their second games way before F4.
Juan Green
Literally the most convincing trap ever. It wasn't until Varner outed him that he took off he shirt for a challenge and you could see the scars of where he had his tits cut off
