The Russian language occupies your mind

This

...

Polish - ugliest of all Slavic languages

Sometimes when playing CSGO I use Russian callouts even when there are no Russians there. It has become a force of habit because I get Russian teammates all the damn time.

A-are you from Omsk?

Yes.

Oh common...

Definitely not this one

How to pronounce 'ř' though?
Btw, czech doesn't have nasal vowels, therefor it's inferior to polish

Might as well start posting moe anime dubs.

...

It's just kind of dumb posting songs as examples of language in general, when there's so much content of regular people speaking it now thanks to people blogging on youtube.

...

russian sound badass

I heard it IRL many times and it clearly sounds like RŽ

May be in some border areas like Cieszyn but for most Poles it's identical to Ż in sound

>no softened fricatives
nigguh, what are you talking about? we have more of them than you can imagine

I think he meant that they're not truly softened

Except they are. By replacing the soft "s" with the soft "š" (which we also have btw) and adding an additional [j] after labials you don't make them sound more soft, you just turn them into completely different sounds/sound combinations.

>you just turn them into completely different sounds/sound combinations.
Which makes them more distinct which is better

Definitely not better than having an additional amount of phoneme oppositions. I can hardly imagine anyone confusing [sʲa] with [sa] or [pʲo] with [po].

ѭ ѫ ѩ ѧ

>Polish additionally uses the digraphs ch, cz, dz, dź, dż, rz, and sz.
explain this

>cъя and cя
Definetely not. Even cъя/cья seem quite distinct from each other (which can't be said about бья/бъя though).

ch = h like in word 'how'
cz (cirillic ч ) = English ch
dz = like a mix of d and z, say it very fast
dź = like above but softer
dż = sounds like 'J' in 'John'
rz (same as our ż, cirillic ж ) = like French 'J' in 'Juan'
sz (cirillic ш ) = English 'sh'
