None of the polls or anything are reliable because many of them are biased towards Hillary. And no I'm not just saying that because Hillary is ahead in those polls. Many pollers changed their methods after Trump's numbers soared after the RNC / DNC.
We know he's ahead because everybody across the country is reporting the same thing - In all but a few stuck up rich neighborhoods, there are no Hillary signs, bumper stickers, hats, etc. and there is a ton of Trump support everywhere you go. Trump rallies get 30,000+ people and they have to turn people away because there isn't enough room. Hillary is canceling rallies because of low turnout.
She has no real support, but then you also have to factor in that she is the establishment choice and there will be a lot of cheating in her favor.
So to answer your question, we don't know. There's no way anyone can know because the polls aren't reliable, and despite the fact that there is clearly more Trump support, Hillary will cheat.

Trump came this far employing a simple strategy:
Trump NEVER backs down. EVER.
And he shouldn't (see pic related).
The establishment has a "surrogate" strategy, like that "Joe the Plumber" dude that confronted Obama in Ohio.
They do that because while "politician on politician" attacks are the normal behavior on elections "politician on common folks" attacks are usually frowned upon.
But not for Trump, he doesn't back down and drags even the lowliest commoner to vicious public battles.
People don't like that. They have their private lives and don't want to be at the spotlight for a long time.
Trump just grinds them down (considering he doesn't have the luxury of being out of the spotlight) until their "sponsors" need to find a replacement.
Think about it: not even Ted Cruz could withstand the barrage of public attacks and he is a politician. Same thing for Jeb, as the other user pointed out.
