and butt plugs. let's keep one of these topics going
Does anybody else know that feeling when you suddenly remember that you fucking love Doctor Who and you're filled with all this aimless inspiration?
I wish the classic series was on Netflix so I could just binge watch it. It's too much of a hassle mucking about with files on my computer, especially when it comes to reconstructed episodes.
Hot Series 11 news, potentially S11 airs on Sundays instead of Saturdays. Chibnall wants to take risks:
rts.org.uk
I think the bigger news is the fact that BBC seem so amiable to him. He talks about how they had to "woo" him, which indicates to me that they somehow sweetened the deal more and also that when he came to them with his vision for the show they were instantly onboard.
Chibnall SHEEP age incoming I wish I had less villainous pictures of him to accompany my hype posts

did CountdownCletus get banned?
I can't help myself but I'm actually getting hype about him, even though I still remember how everyone thought Moffat was going to be the greatest thing ever.
come back when we finally got a drashig companion, nick
hopefully
Okay, that's it, I give in.
I accept the fact that Kris Marshall is the next Doctor.
NeonWisual
Doctor Who? More like
Jason poo
Doctor Poo
Chibnall admits that he took a long time to commit: “I finally said yes because I love the show to my bones. I resisted it for a very long time, and [the BBC] really had to woo me.
“But, in the end, I had ideas about what I wanted to do with it. When I went to them and said, ‘This is what I would do’, I actually expected them to say, ‘Ooh, let’s talk about that’, but they said: ‘Great!’”
Chibskino. Hoky fuck.
>tfw the chibnall era is going to be your favourite era

Someone please explain the appeal of Dr Who to me.
To me it just seems like a very poorly produced, written and acted 1960s show with puddle deep stories and antiquated production values. Is it just because Brits don't have anything resembling modern cameras so they think that anything is good?
Doctor Poo? More like Doctor WOOOO HOLY SHIT
It's like going to see a school play at a school that's better than yours.
You have to be british to enjoy it

this is probably a fake name for a 13th Doctor reveal show

Did they finger her in a Melbourne nightclub?
>Gloucestershire
Yeah, their faces just scream "Nightmare Jet Fuel."
So what's all this about Bill being converted into a Cyberman? Been hearing whispers about it
There was a rumor that "something terrible" happens to Bill and that she wakes up in a hospital bed to a surgeon who reveals himself to be Simm
Nah, she's just going to age away and die.
Moffat doesn't have it in him to truly kill off a character
Good. Death is a cheap way to try and make the audience feel emotions, rather than relying on character substance.
He will probably try and get people to sympathize for Missy until she predictably back-stabs The Doctor
Huh. They must have made it private or something. Weird.
Still might be too searchable.
So? It's a parody article, just like the rest of the wiki.
You know what happened to the ShinyImages page right?
Nope.
It is delet
If they delete NeonWisual we will repost it. From a legal standpoint there is nothing wrong with the page, there is no valid reason to delete it.
What's on Nardy's face? is he gonna be alright?
Is that Tom Rosenthal between the two Romans?
I'd like to get between Tom Rosenthal if you know what I mean
What does /who/ think of the current season? I've been postponing it until now, watched 6 episodes, and so far I think it's better than Capaldi's previous seasons. Might even be the best one since 5. And I even liked Bill, if she doesn't overstay her welcome like Amy and especially Clara, might end up fifth best nuWho companion after Donna, Captain Jack, Rory and Wilfred in that order.
>watched 6 episodes, and so far I think it's better than Capaldi's previous seasons. Might even be the best one since 5
That's how I felt after the first 6 episodes too, user. Sorry for your loss
Empress of Mars wasn't terrible
I know. It was good. Empress of Mars is episode 9 though.
I think it's Capaldi's weakest and a disappointment all around. There's been no standout episodes so far.
Skip the 3-parter, and never touch it again, pretend it never existed. Go directly to Empress of Mars.
Watch Extremis, then write a fanfiction about what you think will happen. It'll be better than the actual episodes.
I mean, Pyramid is fine too, the thing is, they built the monks to be great villains in 2 episodes which were pretty good, and then Moffat stepped in to fuck everything over.
You should've really looked up reverse psychology before posting that.
Moffat wrote Extremis AKA the first part.
Whithouse wrote the last part
Wow. what the hell! That episode stank of Moffat, especially with the "power of love" ending and the stupid fake out regeneration. How the fuck did this guy go from writing "The God Complex" and the boostrap two-parter to this shit?! A bad episode is one thing, now a bad episode full of missed opportunities as the last one in a 3-parter of pretty good episodes is a whole new level.
Pyramid was not good, user.
Whoa, wait, did Whithouse even write a good episode?
i like 11
>implying that The God Complex was bad
Well, Pyramid set up villains which were unique for once, i really liked the concept of benevolent dictators and the simulation, even though they could have paced things a bit better. I also like them characterizing Bill as an impulsive and flawed companion.
In what way were they benevolent? They coerced the humans.
I'm not really a fan of base under siege episodes, but his two parter last season was good, especially compared to fucking Sleep No More. Also The God Complex.
They did, after they were given "consent" based on love, meaning they would only conquer someone if they were sincere in consenting to their help. They also executed criminals painlessly (even with them considered the ones telling the truth criminals) and had labour camps instead of prisons.
I've just watched Broadchurch series 1.
Wow.
Why didnt you guys say that it was pure kino? I'm so impressed. Just wow.
we have bad taste
What the fuck are you talking about, are you memeing? How can you frame executions and forced labour camps as benevolence? And in what world is a labour camp more humane than a prison?
Do you know what 'coercion' means?
Be ready that second season will be worse, although he has good moments.
Broadchurch is not mentioned here because moffatchads are afraid of comparisons with "Sherlock", that is garbage and will necessarily lose.
Salazar did nothing wrong.
Oh, i see what you mean, sorry, i'm watching the Nintendo Direct thing. What i meant is that i like how they aren't 1-dimensional villains that just brute force Earth, they seem more like they want to conquer planets through manipulation instead of wanting to destroy everything.
Me too. Disappointed about the Core Series game for Switch desu. DP remakes when?
I don't even play video games or own a current gen console and I'm watching it too.
He's going to be here for 3 years, tops
>The God Complex
nice b8, had me going
Pyramid has far too many dumb moments and "why didn't they do the logical thing" to the point that it actively ruins the episode
Well, it was a competent episode, compared to some we had with Capaldi. It had an interesting premise and a good narrative.
Are you talking about Bill being retarded for example? Or the stupid combination lock? I'm kinda desensitized to this kind of shit at this point.
I felt exactly the same at the series 10 episode 6 point. No duds yet and all that.
Then we got episode 7 with plot holes big enough for an elephant to jump thru. Never mind....every series has to have at least one stinker I spose.
Basically everything to do with that biochem facility
>dangerous chemicals are pumped out into the atmosphere every 30 minutes with no filtering, instead of being disposed of properly
>the doctor conveniently forgets the sonic sunglasses can video stream even though he was literally using them to call bill at the time
There's a lot more but the fact that all of the main conflicts were shit that should have been avoided and not an issue really fucked up the episode
...
Broadchurch s1 was GOAT. 2nd series not as good, then s3 again great but not as great as s1.
But holy fuck, Broadchurch is addictive.
Reminder that around 10 days until Simmkino. It's finaĺly happening.
Remember that episode where Cybermen were just the Borg
Does anyone have the webm of Maisie chasing ostriches?
reminder that cybermen predate the borg
>ostriches
??? user...
it's a new meem
Oh, of course, but in terms of how they act, and what they do, the Nightmare in Silver versions were much more Borg-like than any prior incarnation. The whole on-site assimilation, adapting to damage, the Cybermen as a villain predate the Borg, but the "stuff" that the Borg do predates that inclusion in the Cybermen.
Threadly reminder that Madam Orford is a prematurely balding creep that texts little girls, physically stalks Peter Capaldi along with anyone else he can on the Doctor Who production and is in general a whinging spineless manchild that should be mocked mercilessly.
screenrant.com
Why does Davies know, though? 'Cause he's buddies with Chibbers? Or is he going to come back to write guest episodes?
You were talking about Nightmare in Silver? desu I thought you were making a joke that there are a lot of episodes where the Cybermen are just the Borg.
