Let me tell you why people would have less sex.
In general we're always being pressured to do "what's right" which means getting a job, getting a full education, spend more time doing all sorts of things that don't revolve around actually being with other people in any sexual way.
Now combine that with more and more people getting depressed due to a lot of shit being put onto us and that we're "never good enough". We keep getting told by rich and famous people how good they are on social media that you look at yourself in the media and hate yourself.
This goes to a lot of people not caring about themselves, ending up looking like shit. But even when a lot of the people look like shit, expectations aren't lowered, so we still want hot looking people.
Now, the hot looking people can actually easily get sex. There's just a lot of factors that play into us not being as sexually active as we once were.
