The fairy godmother cursed her, and because the king owed her for making him human she could make them put Fiona in a tower for Charming to find, rescue and marry, making her the ruler of the kingdom in all but name. And because it was the social convention to lock cursed princesses in towers, no one would question it.

Damn, I can't believe that was 12 years ago. I remember the trio of movies I would wait for would be PoTC, Spider-Man, and Shrek. Shrek 2 really was great. Depending on how young you were when you originally watched Shrek, you can rewatch it again and catch a lot more jokes that went over your heard. I still have the Shrek 2 version of I Need A Hero.

Her ogre design is pretty ugly and I'm not kidding when I say Shrek is more fuckable than her.
Her human form isn't anything other than generic princess but I'd much rather have that than the ogre for four movies.
