Most of the Batman #1 variants were retailer exclusives so you weren't supposed to have a chance unless you bought it from each of the stores it was sold at. I don't think any of them except the free variant would even be in the trade in the end.

$288 for all those variants.

Buy each individual variant online I dunno I mean do you really each variant cover of a single issue?

The bubble not only needs to burst but also go nuclear and take out the big two fuck this variant bullshit and fuck collectors

Honestly, it's not that I want all of them, but I'm picking up an issue and I see "the last" of a variant I grab it regardless

Not gonna lie I really want the Dell'Otto one...not sure if it's worth $28 to order online though.

I have a first print of Batman #1 from the new52, what's that going for?

$60-80 I think.

Just save it off his tumblr and print at office depo.

I got the Howard Porter one for only $2.99 on Midtown they usually have some of them available in their previews orders but some retailer exclusives they don't have

>SUCK THE COMIC SHOP'S OWNER DICK OFF?
yes

0.99$

...

Why would you even want variants? Just buy any one copy and enjoy it.

Funny thing is that currently most of the Before Watchmen Jim Lee variants auctions were going for less than $100... Except this one.

They were retailer exclusives. ou never had a chance. I've never understood the obsession with variants anyway.

I flat out gave up on trying to buy rebirth, and I'll probably wait for it to come out in trade. It continues to sell out and while I'm glad that people are interested in reading DC I'm fucking mad that a good portion of that is probably retards that see a new #1 as an investment, because Action Comics is worth a million dollars, so why won't this random comic be worth something? or scalpers that will rope in said retards by overcharging for fucking floppies

Big difference here is that DC didn't force stores to buy X amount of books to get the variant

I mean, if a variant has art that you really like, that's one reason.
But unless they all form a picture, I don't see any reason to buy multiple variants of the same issue.

Multiversity did variants really well.
Standard cover, History of the Multiverse cover, classic cover redone with a different universe's heroes.

Preordering isn't hard. Anyway I'm always able to find anything I'm looking for at my lcs. Maybe becuase I live in Ohio. And it's the only one nearby, other then a shitty magic shop just two miles away that has a really low selection.

I bought a couple of those movie poster variants because I thought they were neat.
And a few of the Cooke ones.

>His LCS doesn't have a website where you can reserve items the week before
>My LCS doesn't even expect me to pay for my pre-ordered items until I get them
Also, those are all retailer exclusives (Sans the Porter Variant), that guy probably had them reserved at multiple LCS or had a friend get them for him, that is much worth the effort.

Hey fuck you, as long as they're 1:1, variants are ok in my book. I love having the choice on which cover to get if one of them is shit.

Not really a big deal considering it is supposed to be $3 since it's not an incentive variant.

Just wait for the next reboot when the value of these comics will go down 200%

Same here to be honest, that being said the one variant that I'll never sell is the Darwyn Cooke one he did not too long ago for DC.

Are you an idiot? New 52 #1s are still going high in value.

I'd say it popped a while back and this is just inertia for diehards and old CEOs who don't keep up. Does anyone really think their comic-book collection is gonna put their kids through college anymore?

Oh lawdy, that poor naive person

You don't need all of them. It's just a comic

>PREORDER
Well yeah, just go to an LCS and ask them to preorder it for you

I think some of those Batman ones were exclusive to certain shops though

>HOW THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO HAVE A FAIR CHANCE TO GET ALL THESE

You're not supposed to have all of them. They're the same comic. It's pointless to have more than one copy.

If you're truly so autismal that you simply must have every single variant cover of every comic, you can just buy them on eBay.

>ever

>buying variants
What is this, the 90s?

> each cost $115
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

It's another comics bubble.
There's even some idiot in this thread that thinks New 52 will hold value in years to come.

Does your comic store not offer to hold them aside for you?
I literally just have to ask for them to order one in, they even make special announcements on their facebook page about the most popular variants

Good taste, senpai.
