Probably the best era for songs for Disney

Renaissance

>Disney ages backwards

Did you make this? Do you know what the word renaissance means?

Renaissancefag reporting in

Silver

nothing will ever match the mid-century modern look of Sleeping Beauty or the dynamism of the first photostatted animations in 101 Dalmations

gold and bronze are patrician
renaissance is for millenial faggots
>that lineup for post renaissance
absolutely abysmal, 2/10 want to forget

READY TO RUMBLE!

Toss up between Renaissance and Bronze. Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie but I love Fox and the Hound and The Aristocats

JIGGY WIT IT

Literally google "Disney renaissance". It's a well established era

DANGEROUS

The Renaissance is what I grew up with and so the stuff I've watched the most. Gold, Silver, and Bronze were also things I watched as a kid and enjoyed. Don't watch too much Disney stuff anymore but I liked Big Hero 6.

Honestly all of their eras have great movies that are worth watching. It's weird thinking that kids today might not be exposed to a lot of it.

Disney's good about keeping their movies in rotation, and I'm sure that's the case now more than ever. They have to keep characters like Belle, Jasmine, etc popular for girls and it's just in their interests in general to keep their big names popular for things like merchandising, spin offs, sequels, etc.

DUBS

why was war time disney nothing but musicals?

>no toy story

Best Movies per era
Pinocchio
Melody Time
Alice in Wonderland
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Lion King
Lilo & Stitch
Zootopia

Nothing like a song when you're down.

Renaissance is the only acceptable answer

Song of the South had animated bits. Why isn't it in there?

Renaissance
Bronze
Silver
Golden
Revival
Post ren
Wartime

Renaissance > Silver = Golden > Bronze > Wartime > > > > Post renaissance > > > Shit > The revival

This is irrefutable

I like the renaissance the most. Dozens of timeless classics there. Post-renaissance has a few gems, I for one enjoyed Atlantis (>Tfw no atlantian gf) but for the most part it's crap.

whats great is that postmodern was even worse than it looks here.
They pushed out a shit-ton of cash-in sequels.
and the only redeemable thing to come out of that era, Incredibles, they never capitalized on by making another.
instead we got ratatouille. which was ass.

>the legend of sleepy hollow grouped up with all that trash
criminal

>The revival last
>hurr durr I don't like it because it's new
Being a contrarian doesn't make you cool

>hurr durr I dont like it because its new

Who the fuck said I dont like it cause its new? I dont like it cause its fucking trash.

>wreck it ralph with fucking sarah silverman and stupid ass rihanna song in it
>good

>moana with the rock that no one gave a shit about
>good

if it werent for fantasia 2000, treasure planet or atlantis, post renissance would be tied with revival with poor line up

>hating Wreck at Ralph because of an actress and a song

>Bambi
>Literally Who Cares
>Peter Pan [(HM: Sleeping Beauty) A E S T H E T I C]
>Winnie the Pooh
This era is hella overrated. >Toy Story 2 if it counts; otherwise Goofy Movie (srs)
>The Incredibles AINEC
>Inside Out

Drake Mallard pls leave

>contrarian the post

Basil the Great Mouse Detective is disneykino.
This is irrefutable.

Golden and Renaissance.

>god tier
Golden
Silver
The Renaissance

>Good tier
The Revival

>decent tier
Bronze

>shit tier
Wartime
Post-Renaissance

This is the only correct answer

>Renaissance
>Revival
What do you think Renaissance means?

Pre-1937

Rebirth

>muh childhood
they were average movies with predictable plots propped up by memorable music numbers.

Toy Story 2 is next level, but Mulan too is a great movie.
Mulan doesn't take itself too seriously or overdo the whole woman lead thing.
Its just a great movie- the musical numbers aren't shoehorned in to meet some quote or contrived and don't take themselves seriously either which is why I love it.

>rebirth
>revival
What is this, Kingdom Hearts? That's the same thing

Disney's top kino:
>Alice in Wonderland
>Aladdin
>The Jungle Book
>Mulan

X marks shittiest Disney films.
Some are shittier than others, but each one has some shitty qualities about them.

The unmarked films are the best, tho some are better than others.

Wreck it ralph was good, and silverman did alright for a change

>Meet the Robinsons
>shit
Death is the only cure for taste this bad

I hated the fact that I liked that movie, because I hate that bitch. Wise cracking jews and their love of toilet humor are always disgusting. The rest of the cast made up for it.

I know, right?
That was one of the shittiest ones.

Elaborate.

I forgot to mark 101 Ddalmations, which is shitty because of the cheap animation and all the screaming and barking. The rest of the story was ok, tho.

>Great Mouse Detective
>Shit

>Fox and the Hound
>Bad
kill yourself cuck

DOWN

Would you consider Once upon a Time to be its own era?

Plot was stupid, and the characters were ugly and annoying.

I knew a very sweet little girl who was seriously traumatized when the evil bat snatched the father. She had nightmares for years. That ws a shitty thing for the stupid jews to put in a children's film.

It was very boring, and the ending really sucked.

Hercules has a pretty fantastic soundtrack as well.

not nearly as bad as pic related, or pretty much anything else in it

The ending was great, Todd fucked off to have a better life and Copper stayed home

>jewtopia
>better than Wreckit Ralph

I shiggery do dah, shiggidy-ay, my oh my you got some plebian taste

That, and the wild-eyed Doc Brown getting crushed. Total jewish filth, and extremely inappropriate for a film marketed to children.

Modern Disney's best year was 2016, and it'll probably stay that way. Now were gonna get a slew of sequels and some giant loli shit

Well I'm just stating my own personal opinions. You're certainly free to like it even if I don't.

Im just saying the simple tone was nice
It told a nice little story well and had its moments

Probably the Renaissance but I have a soft spot for Treasure Planet because it was the first movie date I had with my first and current girlfriend when we were 14.

>What is this, Kingdom Hearts
Kind of is desu senpai

I liked Frozen better than Zootopia. I dunno maybe I had bigger expectations for zootopia

Robin Hood is their only patrician film

>Fantasia
>Ichabod for the Headless Horseman cartoon
>Alice in wonderland
>Oliver and Company
>Mulan
>Lilo and Stitch
>Smashit-Sammy

Elaborate.
