I don't hate this

I think this movie was okay

Aside from the really shitty Hyde cg thing, it was a pretty solid movie.

essential "fuck you, I liked it" core imo. should've posted it in the other thread

It's decent desu

weak bait

I remember seeing it as a kid and remember literally nothing from it.

What was the reason this failed? Did it come out at the same time as another, more poular movie? If it came out nowadays, it would probably be a hit. I'd love to see a Netflix series or just a series in general of this

Fucking kino

I haven't seen it in ages but I don't remember disliking it. Strange that the critics loathe it so much.

>tfw secretly like steampunk but it's so reddit and cringe i try to avoid it

It was watchable.

It was way ahead of it's time.

Sean Connery doesn't agree with you though.

What the fuck happened to Stephen Norrington?

Sean Connery is a demented old bat with a colostomy bag

Yeah they already did. It's called Penny Dreadful.

Probably what the Dark Universe is trying to go for, desu

It was decent popcorn flick tier. I watch it if it's on AMC. For a movie that supposedly sucks they sure show it on cable a lot. It came out before capeshit really caught on. It killed everyone's career though. Sean Connery never made another film. And he was in fucking Zardoz and Steed/Peel Avengers for fucks sakes! But he's butthurt about LXG? La Femme Nikita TV series chick never did anything. Tom Sawyer never caught on. That brit guy as Hyde has bit parts like in Kick Ass and Guy Richie films. Only Roxbourgh who played M and who was in Moulon Rouge had sort of success with Rake in Australia. Not a bad movie though.

This movie along with Van Hellsing, Hellboy, and Blade fell perfectly into the category of 'watching dvds on your ps2 with your black weeb cousins'-kino.

I remember a lot of the complaints about this movie were how compared to the Alan Moore comic it was incredibly simplified but you never see anyone bitching about that with Watchmen. The changes they made to turn it into a more PG-13 action-adventure story were drastic enough to make it a different tale with the same name which I think is more respectable than making a shot for shot remake without any of the soul or brain of the original.

TLOEG is pure fan fiction taken to autistic levels. Instead of writing an entertaining adventure series using Victorian fictional characters Moore's gotta be more obsessed with detailed minutiae that he finds interesting. Only a small amount of the planet are diehard Alan Moore fans. If the original authors of the characters were alive today they'd probably prefer the LXG version.

Get into dieselpunk mein guy

Its shit with a few good nuggets in it. The designs were cool and the addition of dorian grey and the twist was good but the two leads were bland and so was the main villain amd central conflict
