Der Linde Lied

a prophetic poem

1
Great emperor Karl hallowed in Rome
Cornerstone of German age you will always be
One-hundred-sixty seven years deadline
Until Germany will be hit marrow-deep

2
Drudge as a servant for foreign people will your son
They will do as they please with the rights of their slaves
Cruelly ripped by enemy hand
One bloods, one languages tie

3
Live on stomach, live on the juice of Germany
Until with his, your power ends too
Sickens the Heart, ails the whole body
Germany’s misery is the world’s ruin

4
The poor will be rich of money very quickly
But the quick wealth will turn to ashes
Poorer everyone with the biggest treasures
Less people, lesser even the room

5
Because thrones of rulers got abolished
Ruling will become game and passion
Until the day comes, where they think they're damned
Anyone who will be appointed to

6
The peasant will taunt until the day of turn
All his efforts only washout
Exhortation will fall on desert sand
Only the unreasonable will find listeners

7
The ones with the biggest sins
Think of themselves as judge and highest councilor
Smokes the blood, the beast gets only wilder
Robbery becomes a profession and murder becomes greed

8
Rome will chop the flock of Priests into pieces like cattle
Not gentle to the old man with silver hair
Over corpses the highest has to flee
And move, hunted, from place to place

9
Godforsaken he seems, but he is not
Adamant in creed, loyal to duty
Even in hardship he doesn't afford abstinence
Brings the God-fight to near court

10
Winter will come three days darkness
Lightning and thunder and tearing of the ground
Pray at home, don't leave your house
Also by the window don't look at the horror outside!

11
A candle will give the whole time and all alone
Give you light, in case it pleases to
Poisoned breath rises from the dust-night
Black plague, worst human slaughter

12
The same threatens every earthborn
But the good ones will die a peaceful death
A lot abider remain how wonderful
Free from respiration cramps and pest endangerment

13
One big city the mud devours
Another with the fire fights
All cities become deadly silent
At the Vienna Stephansplatz will grow dill

14
If you count every human on earth
You will find one third missing
And the remaining, look at every country
Half of them lost their mind

15
Like in storm a rudderless ship
Relinquished to every reef
Staggers the a-day ruler flock
Makes the citizens even poorer than poor

16
Because the miserable ones only ray of hope
Of better days, is endless far away
"Redeemer send the one you have to send"
Tinges fearfully from the human’s chest

17
Does the Earth suddenly take another route?
Does a new flicker of hope arise?
"Everything is lost" while you hear here still
"Everything is saved" it sounds from Vienna

18
Yes, from East will be the strong hero
Bringing order to the bewildered world
White flowers around the heart of the ruler
Gladly follow the brave his call

19
All disturbers he will chase to pairs
German empire German rights he will write
Colorful stranger, unwelcome guest
Flee the farmland which you haven't plowed

20
God’s hero, an infrangible tie
You will forge around all German ground
The banned one you will guide to Rome
Great emperor will see the dome

21
Praise the 21th council
Which will show the nations their highest aim
And with strict guidelines for life warrants
That rich and poor does not choke each other anymore

22
German name, which you have suffered hard
Again shines around you the old glory
Grows around the intertwined double branch
Whose shadows for seek even many a guest

(In possession of a Family from Passau for over 100 years,
disclosed by Dr. Adlmaier.)

Source: "Blick in die Zukunft" published in 1950 by Dr. Adlmair.

There is a completer versions of this poem, however I couldn't tell if the other parts came by later. Rumor has it, it's been found inside the cavern of the oldest linden tree of Germany at that time.
The linden tree of Bad Staffelstein.

What does /pol think about this poem? Especially nowadays? Also, correct my translation, if you like.

>What does /pol think about this poem? Especially nowadays?
Bamp for interest

Bump ;_;

Genuinely enjoyed reading that.

Prophetic stuff, kind of get the feel that Germany is constantly looking for a God-sent hero to guide them to victory from reading this. An old professor had me read a book once on that sort of phenomenon in Germany, implying you guys are always looking for someone to lead you.

>aber ich glaub das nicht

Thanks for the feedback. How was my translation work? Did I do OK?

>that Germany is constantly looking for a God-sent hero to guide them to victory
Well that could really be. Ironically my husband who's ethnic 100% Germanic (looks like the ideal Aryan on old Nazi propaganda posters) and 3/4 Bavarian and 1/4 Austrian always told me that he feels to be kinda like the chosen one or so.
Also he despises democracy (well he's right, look at the mess we're in) and yearns monarchy. Or at least something similar to monarchy.

On a side note
>Yes, from East will be the strong hero
East means from German view "Österreich", means Austria.
Hence the
>"Everything is saved" it sounds from Vienna

Kinda ironic, isn't it? Given the fact that Hitler was Austrian himself?

Truth be told, I didn't read the original German, I'm kinda tired/lazy right now.

But yes, it all is quite ironic.
Was it published in 1950 from something that was written originally 100 years earlier? Sorry if that's a misunderstanding.

btw the translation is probably fine.

>Was it published in 1950 from something that was written originally 100 years earlier?
Yes, that's what it I've read. The poem was written on a piece of paper and supposedly in possession of a family for over 100 years. The family decided to show this paper to dr. Adlmaier who said upon inspection that the paper genuinely must be older than 100 years. He decided to publish it alongside other prophetic texts in his book in the year of 1950.
Sadly I didn't find anything related to this poem on Wikipedia, only found information on other websites. Mostly right wingers site's.
The poem is a lot more known under the other version with 33 parts. But the newer parts seem to be added around the years 1900-1920 or so.

>But the newer parts seem to be added around the years 1900-1920 or so.
Also only the newer version with 33 parts is said to be found inside the linden tree in pic related. The added text is partly about that specific linden tree too.

>167 yrs deadline
Happening in 2017 confirmed?

Maybe who knows?
I am very drawn to this prophecy, also very spooked too.
If happening really will take place, I think the three days of darkness will cost one third of human population. Half of the remaining will lose their minds, leaving only one third functioning population on earth....

Is it true that the three days of darkness prophecy also occurs in the Bible?

Could have been symbolic of the three world wars

Also my husband interprets the deadline like this:
As 160 times 7 years = 1120 years.
This is due to the fact that in German 167 years would have been written
>Hundertsiebenundsechzig Jahre
Instead of
>Hundertsechzig sieben Jahre
In German while spelling math formula you can omit the words "multiplicated with".

Due to this and due to seemingly more people had differently dated copies of the poem, my husband thinks that the poem may be older than just dated 1850. Maybe it's like some kind of mouth to mouth prophecy written down from different people in different versions.
Because "Karl der Große" is part of the prophecy he thinks maybe the prophecy could have been created about 80 years after the great emperor Karl died.
Hence 814 + 83 + 1120 years later it would be 2017.

Are we paranoid....?

There are a lot of interpretation going on in the internet for this poem.
I'll try and translate a few of them:

>Drudge as a servant for foreign people will your son
>They will do as they please with the rights of their slaves
German people have to work like slaves to pay and feed refugees, while in turn they thank us for this with violating and disrespecting German rights
>Cruelly ripped by enemy hand
>One bloods, one languages tie
The German empire will be ripped apart (predicting first and second world war).

>The poor will be rich of money very quickly
Germany's very quickly gained wealth after WW2
>But the quick wealth will turn to ashes
>Poorer everyone with the biggest treasures
Well look at our financial situation nowadays
>Less people, lesser even the room
Less GERMAN people, still even lesser room to live because flooded by migrants and "refugees"
I can only tell you this much. It is insanely expensive to buy an own home, houses get torn down everywhere and commie blockes build in their stead.... (we live near Munich and the prophecy is supposedly from Bavaria)

>Because thrones of rulers got abolished
Monarchy put down for democracy
>Ruling will become game and passion
Look at our politicians
>Until the day comes, where they think they're damned
>Anyone who will be appointed to
Well, I wonder how Merkel feels about being the head of Germany right now?

>Rome will chop the flock of Priests into pieces like cattle
Don't know much about the ongoing in Rome, but could it be that this is happening right now???
>Not gentle to the old man with silver hair
>Over corpses the highest has to flee
Maybe the German pope ratzinger who retired??? Retirements are very unusual for popes and one truly wonderes what's the real reason his retirement
>And move, hunted, from place to place
Don't know what this could be/mean. Doesn't fit to Ratzinger, or does it???

This and the rest is future???

>Is it true that the three days of darkness prophecy
isn't there a prophecy called 'Feldpost Briefe' with this theme also?

Wow didn't know about that. Will look it up. Thanks.

Wat the hell is this. Googling the translation results in nothing.

de.metapedia.org/wiki/Lied_der_Linde

This I guess?

Yes this is it. But this is what I guess, a newer and revised version of the original. Here are the different versions compared.
schauungen.de/wiki/index.php?title=Lindelied
I assume the version published 1950 is the oldest one.

My guess is that all parts related to the linden tree are made up later and the poem was put inside the linden tree so that there's a great story to the prophecy poem to sell the prints even better.
The version of 1950 is said to have its source on a piece of paper, in the possession of a family from Passau. They always kept it very carefully, for at least one hundred years, guaranteed. But how long exactly they had it in their possession they didn't knew.

>Googling the translation results in nothing.
Almost forgot, of course it won't. It's my very own translation. I've translated this for /pol and didn't post it anywhere else.
One of those rare original content threads ;)

>Is it true that the three days of darkness prophecy also occurs in the Bible?

Not directly. In the book of Revelation the fifth vial of God's wrath contains a curse of darkness that is poured out over the kingdom of the beast (Rev 16:10) but there is no duration given. However, the judgements parallel the plagues of Egypt to a degree, and the book of Exodus gives the duration of the plague of darkness then as three days. (Ex 10:22)

>lesser even the room
I see it as a reference to the lost german land from the empire and after ww2. E.g alsace, gdansk(we had it first!), and kalingrad.

Zeig die Titten.

Oh, good to know. Thanks :)

>I see it as a reference to the lost german land from the empire and after ww2.
Yes that is what came to my mind just recently too.

But still I can't shake the feeling it's migration and refugee related, because of these previous passages
>Drudge as a servant for foreign people will your son
Giving all of the hard earned money to refugees instead of our own poor people in need
>They will do as they please with the rights of their slaves
Muslims stomping on our rights
>Cruelly ripped by enemy hand
>One bloods, one languages tie
Multicultural enrichment by Muslim and other people

Kek, war ja klar ;)

Okay, hier ein bump

OC OPs are the best OPs.

bamp

I dont undersand your english in the OP
horrible translation

It's very scary how much the prophecies resemble each other.
Andreas Rill (well the Frenchmen he quoted in his letters), Alois Irlmaier, Pater Pio, and the poem.

Well then help me fix it.

Maybe 1934?
