Before he was Nominated for President, what did you think of Donald Trump

i really liked his proposal to rebuild the world trade center

Extremely talented business man who enjoyed cultivating fame to leverage it for commercial purposes

I didn't think much of anything about him. I just knew he was a billionaire who was also on Celebrity Apprentice, and who also led the birther movement and got roasted by Obama at the annual dinner. I had no strong feelings towards him one way or another.

I thought him to be more honest and interesting than all three of the cancerous clintons put together.

A joke

I suppose you mean before he announced? The nomination was just two weeks ago.

All I knew was that he was really rich, loved fame/attention, and that he appeared in many films and TV shows as himself rather than as a character. I guess I had a positive opinion of him.

Lived in NYC all my life and only heard of him like twice. Didn't know much about him, I thought he was another rich New York Liberal

I used to work for Mr. Trump at Trump Plaza back in the early 2000s

Guy truly was something else, totally elegant in everyway. He visited the casino at least 7 times while I workes there, each time he would all through the casino floor. People would stop what they were doing, stand up and applaud the man. Each time he would go around and greet people, bought alot of drinks for people. A fantastic people person, totally pleasant and funny. He has my vote just for this reason.

I knew he was a rich Real estate/skyscraper guy who would argue with Rosie O'donell on Howard Stern. Had some tabloid divorce when I was a kid. Marla maples, Ivana, whatever...

When He started doing reality TV, I wondered if he lost his money. Seemed beneath a billionaire, but maybe he wanted to be on TV? I mean, if you are super rich, why not do whatever you want?

Then my in-laws started quoting him all the time because they are MLM junkies (legal pyramid schemes). At some point he said if he had to start all over again, he would use MLM's to rebuild his empire. I didn't take him seriously, because all MLM/Network marketing people are suckers. I do think there are people who make good money of of those suckers though. Same people who go to Motivational speakers and stuff.

So I kinda believe the Trump University stuff, only in that he saw that there are plenty of people who will spend hand over fist for the dream of getting rich. Nothing illegal, but I kind of thought he was making a few side bucks of of rubes and chumps. I'm sure the Trump University stuff was legit starts and tactics, but someone needs a deeper understanding to really make it rich in real estate, and that ability to project what would resell higher can't be taught easily.

bit of a clown tbqh

remember the shit with the birthcertificate? months that lasted. cringe-tier senpai

also fuckface von clownstick and barney frank's nipples... trump's always been an idiot publicly

I dressed as him for Halloween when I was like 8

Nothing at all.

Pretty shitty reality tv host

>what did you think of Donald Trump

> think of Donald Trump

It literally never happened unless some clip from The Apprentice came across. If someone had asked I'd have said "he's that fake-ass shyster real estate guy who famously went bankrupt in the 80s, right?"

Reading about him more and more, I'm convinced that previous ignorant impression was way too generous.

shitty businessman who bankrupted his own casinos and acted like a clown with the whole birther thing. I still think that.

I didn't know too much about him other than that he was a celebrity and he had a tv show my parents watched

the only "businessman" is the world who lost money in casino business.

I didnt think he had all the money he said he had or else why would he throw his name on every product imaginable and go on reality tv.

I now understand that was mostly for name recognition and that it was genius.

he is a shit businessman but a brilliant salesman.

Thought he was a great businessman, loved him on The Apprentice, outspoken guy. Commiefags obviously hated him because muh capitalism.

I seriously thought he was an ass and a clown until he btfo Jeb and George Bush over 9-11 and Iraq.

I got onboard the Trump train at that point.

That was the beginning of Trump's exposure of the media. The MSM still has never covered Obama's life properly. Most people don't even know that Obama grew up in Indonesia.

Sup Forums is about 60% shills nos

A funny haired guy with a half-decent sense of humor and obviously memorable because he's fuckin' rich as shit.

I guess like a sort of outspoken, gaudy version of Richard Branson. Rich af and clearly knew what he was doing, but didn't give a fuck about what people thought about him and didn't shy away from controversy or flaunting his excess. I think the independent spirit is what reminds me of Branson.

To tell you the truth, never fucking heard of him before he had announced he's running for President.

I thought he was just some successful rich guy who made a cameo in Home Alone 2. Also he fired people

I thought he was fat and not rich enough to find appealing.

I still feel the same, but I like him more than Hillary, Bernie, and most of the republicans he was up against.

still the same

Never heard of him before that aside from him being a successful business man.
