>Oh, I wish the Lord would take me now
Sopranos
Made the mistake of starting to rewatch it this weekend.
There goes my evenings for the next two months. It's so fucking good.
I am in the second season, but this is my first time watching.
When I was seventeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen
This is probably my favorite ending to a season of television ever.
youtube.com
This or Mad Men season 5.
>Are you alone?
why does chris see tony as a father figure when he's more like a big brother? he's only like 9 years older than him
That is a great one. All those characters and it's only the end of season 2. And the final shot being Big Pussy's grave. Great ending.
The third season ending is also brilliant.
I gave my life to my children onna silva plaaattttaaahh
>that fucking awful CGI scene
it was David Chase in a dress.
>>that fucking awful meme series
fixed it for you
My nigga Furio right here.
furio was too good for the new jersey family
such a soft dude when he wasn't at work
I put this off for years thinking I was gonna hate it and I am glad I waited because it's kino af
>it's kino af
>af
no wonder you like it, your under 18
I am 18 + 10 years, just a manchild
Besides the planned plane ticket arc, I wonder how Livia would have been involved in the later seasons if her actress never died. How would she have reacted to Phil Leotardo?
It's doubtful there'd even be a Phil Leotardo, or a Ralphie considering he's introduced at Livia's funeral.
There probably wouldn't have been a Ralphie, but I can't picture season six without Phil. Maybe she would have gotten Junior's dementia arc.
>finally finished the episode where Adrianna gets killed
I saw that coming a mile away. Can't believe she was fucking dumb enough to tell Christopher about the FBI using her.
WE'RE DEAD YOU KNOW THAT?! How could you?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US!?
it stood between telling him or wearing a wire
POKEMAN CARDS
I get goosebumps just thinking about this scene
the acting and writing is phenomenal
She should've just ran off with Artie. I felt fucking bad for her, but Adriana was too dumb to realize an abusive shit like Chrissy wasn't worth all that gold digging.
What did she even see in Chris anyway? He looked like a camel, he had a shit personality who was prone to relapse, and he wasn't even a particularly good earner. If she wanted all that mob money so bad, she could've found someone better. Especially with her looks.
>What did she even see in Chris anyway?
Power and opportunity. She owned a fucking night club thanks to him. To a trash Jersey girl that is the end game.
God I hated this bitch. Everything about the way Tony acted was almost entirely her fucking fault
chrissy was the best character m.youtube.com
I really love the scene with the FBI guys when they debrief Deborah after her fuckup.
>You know the problem?
>Agent Deborah gave Chris a hard-on
>You know, I had a dream about her last night.
If I was a woman who wanted a mob husband, Chris would be low on the totem pole. I'd rather a Johnny Sack type, someone who loves you and never cheats no matter how fat you are.
Ginny was fit and used to be a dancer. Johnny was at some point a two-bit hood under Carmine.
a woman that young romantically seeking a mafioso is definitely not going to get a 40+ year old established wiseguy. The best she could hope for is goomah status. She had to get her claws into someone young and Christophuuh was the ideal candidate due to his proximity with Tony. Every other young associate dies or is easily disposable.
>never fucked melfie
Top 10 anime regrets
would ruin the show if that happened. well, maybe not the show but it would ruin her character.
someone to watch her 5 mixed kids, getting drunk and 3 packs of marlboro lights is endgame for trashy jersey skanks.
maybe if you live in fucking Paramus
nope, Toms River. its equally valid anywhere along the shore though.
>Toms River
how's that methadone clinic going?
which one? we have more of them than fucking mcdonalds. I'm just up here for the week, it was 1999 the last time i was here, and by god i havent missed anything. its even shittier and more run down than before.
fucking rt 9 sucks even worse somehow. and how did they stuff even more jews in lakewood than they had before?
My fucking grandmother is the spitting image of livia. Disgusting north jersey hag who never has anything good to say. I think it helped me enjoy the show more, relating to her toxicity impacts the people around her.
Half in their shitty apartment blocks the other half in the ash tray. But seriously though, lakewood fucking sucks.
the only good thing about being up here used to be the food. now all the good places are gone and some shitty chain resturant is in their place.
R.I.P. IN PEPPERONI DEFRANGELICO'S ITALIAN BAKERY AND IPONSETTIS PIZZA.
also double fuck lakewood.
how come Tony lived in the biggest mansion of them all even when he was still only capo? he only ran Northern Jersey later on
even Johnny Sack and Phil never touched Tony's lifestyle and they were the boss of NY
Johnny Sack even had money trouble that one time and couldn't take this fat wife on vacation when Carmine shut down the esplanade
I think they said Carm's father built the house.
Fucking love the timing of this thread. I finally convinced my gf to marathon the sopranos with me and we finishes season 1 two nights ago. All of Livia's shit is gold
>it's a racket for the jews
>at night, they beat us
>open that window and throw me out
There's five families competing with each other in NY. Tony ran an entire state by himself. He got a piece of everything that touched Jersey.
Was she /ourgal/?
I liked Johnny Sac, one of my favorite characters, I thought it was real cool he remained loyal to his wife despite her size and his position of power, a real stand up guy. He seemed like like the least psycho character.
best lighting in a show, ever
>that scene where all the family members rush home in a frantic while the fbi are planting a bug
>that flyover scene of manhattan
it was an allusion to 9/11, right?
...
EH HEH EH HEH
9/11 was next season.
How did this set up work? Did Phil stay hidden inside the closet for hours until Vito got home? How did he know when to open the doors after the scuffle?
no doubt that over half of everything inside that house was stolen/purchased at an extreme discount
Nah. It's very good but that honor definitely has to go to Mad Men.
Vito was in on it all along
Before Chris's relapse, he was on track to take Tony's spot.
She was insanely and madly in love with him
we /soundboard/ now?
PLS
Chase is just trolling
Better Call Tone
the dimeos are still weaker than any of the five families, even tho they are much stronger than the devalcante family they are based on. they are called glorified crew for a reason, they have like 50 made guys at most while every new york family has like 200 with like 20 capos
Every family has one of these woe is me complainers in their family. That's what made her scenes hard to watch.
