It's a "aliens discover humans and realize how stupid they are" plot

>it's a "aliens discover humans and realize how stupid they are" plot
yea we get it but it looses it's narrative when a fucking human made it, that just shows we're aware but find it.. funny?

name some more bullshit "tropes" aside from the commonly talked about ones like "boys vs girls" and short gag-related ones

>it's a "what if i was never born episode"
>everyone's life is better without the character
why do people do this, it's not funny, it makes me question why the character even exist in the first place

it's pretty depressing and then they try to back it up at the end like "wait... you just got here at the wrong time.. look! something's happening! their lives are torture without you! they need to be held together by something... like you!"

either that or it's one of those endings with "haha.. oh" where it never shows their lives are better with you and it's just a "the world is against you" narrative

>Bodyswap episode
>They also trade voices
This needs to fucking stop.

>all the kids who will freak the fuck out

>bad guys only exist to antagonize the MC. Like their entire lives revolve around the protagonists

I like antagonists who have their own shit going on and even better when they don't know/care who the protagonists are.

>all the anons who will freak the fuck out

but user, that's why reverse flash and black manta are so entertaining, they literally do this shit cause they hate their guys so much
it's hilarious

Personally I think it makes the characters dull. It's like Team Rocket syndrome. They only exist to act as a predictable little roadblock for the protagonist. Rinse repeat. Their plans don't reveal anything about themselves because there's nothing 'deeper' than what you get on the surface. You already know them front to back.

Rivalry done right is more like Gary Oak where he's an antagonist, but his character doesn't revolve around the MC. Their animosity seems natural & their confrontations usually have a greater significance than "I hate U". There's more at stake.

As obnoxious as this might be for some people it makes things less confusing. I'd rather have this then me getting lost.

That FOP episode might've convinced someone somewhere to commit suicide.

I mean the book on the twitter.

>looses
>it's

whoops an apostrophe

>no porn of his art

she's horrible in that show but hot either way

>liking tits
its fat

>it's a "muslims visit the french and realize how stupid they are" plot
yea we get it but it looses it's narrative when a fucking frenchman made it, that just shows we're aware but find it.. funny?

I think that plot can work when it's lampshaded enough, since It's a Wonderful Life is so ingrained in pop culture consciousness. I recall Alf did it funny enough.

what episode was hat

>Its the empire with technology and sanitation is bad and shit eating barbarian rebels is good episode

>do you like it?
>no...
>...
>I LOVE IT!

That's a good song though.
Doo doo doo dodo, do do, doo doo doo dodo

what the fuck are you doing?

It was funny on Married with Children because we already know the characters are horrible.

>tfw you realize you referenced a normie song on a site that doesn't listen to mainstream music
I thought... I mean... because, I don't like it, I, you know, I love love love it. You know? "Oh, oh, so good it hurts"?

N-nevermind...

>"you will pay for that!!!"
>"I'm serious. Pay up, that door cost a lot."
>protagonist takes out their wallet and pays the villain

Really, any retarded joke like that one.

>Normies
This isn't /r9k/ or some shit, that guy just doesn't listen to the radio.

Dude I didn't know what you were referencing but I got what you were trying to do.
Just ignore dumb anons

>it's an 80s anime parody episode

I love that.

>it makes me question why the character even exist in the first place
Characters don't exist to make other characters' lives better. I'm amazed by the level of autism on Sup Forums sometimes.

Yeah what the other user said. It's a fun trope and then you have those situations where the one of the protagonists is impressed by the villain's creation and thay start to give tips on how to improve each others designs
