Absolute pleb

>has Fury Road on the list but not The Road Warrior

Maybe he rated those movies on pure spectacle and not plot or characters?

It's hard to decide. Most of these are good films, but they're also highly accessible/popular films. I don't think I saw anything that wasn't on IMDb or AFI lists, for example.

>reddit: the list

Reddit the list by reddit the filmmaker, makes sense

>reddit: the post

It's the kind of list most people would make if they were made to name their top favorites on the spot.

>No BvS

Well that was easy

The Road Warrior had great car chases but it was way too campy. all the faggot henchmen with their bare asses yelling like savages. at least toecutters gang was somewhat threatening but hugh mungus' crew all looked like they came from some underground S&M club.

Pic related: edited to show the pleb choices

there are like non pleb films in there

not that the other films are bad, they are all great films. It's just pretty boring. There is much more creative and daring cinema.

*there are like 5 non pleb films in there

Looks like you just X'd out all the movies you are too young to have heard of.

Why would any of you want an unhonest list of obscure and lesser known films if their not his favorite? It's a good list and very honest, not trying to appease to anyone just listing what movies he likes

>Raising Arizona

works for me

I havent seen Raising Arizona.

Is it Nicolas Cage kino?

>i enjoy the films of wes anderson

every movie cage is in is kino

he also put a list out of his 1000 favorite movies

imdb.com/list/ls063659161/

I was surprised by all the horror movies at first. I somehow completely forgot about Shaun of the Dead.

>ranking films chronologically
>completely missing the point of having a 'top x'

>almost all english-language films
0-800-come-on-now

>Evil Dead 2
fuck you man

...

>crosses out 2001
>doesnt cross out close encounters
Man i hate to break it to you friend...

It's insane to me that a working director who is actually allowed to make films has such imdb top 250 tastes. It's like he googled "best films of all time" and removed anything that wasn't genre tripe, made in the US or UK or released after 1960.

>Paper Moon
>Phantom of the Paradise
He's patrician, rest of the list doesn't even matter

ive seen half of those movies. how noob am i?

What does #27 say? The Last of Smeica?

The Last of Sheila

The only obscure movie on the list

Absolutely fucking trash
