What if Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were to star alongside Tom Holland in Spider-Man Homecoming as they reenact the Clone Saga, except this time involving different dimensional versions of him instead of clones?
>doing the Clone Saga in your first movie >Seriously even considering Maguire and Garfield back in the first movie, as if that's possible, when you could have the biggest nerdgasm by waiting and doing a better a possible better Spider-Verse than the comics
Grayson Morales
Didn't Sony actually consider doing Amazing Spiderman vs Spiderman from those leaked emails?
Jaxson Reed
>when you could have the biggest nerdgasm by waiting and doing a better a possible better Spider-Verse than the comics
What did user mean by this?
Easton Clark
Have you heard Brock Lesnar talk? Only way that would work is if Paul Hayman played the symbiote and talked for him.
John Hughes
Yes.
Come to think of it, have you noticed they're still going full steam ahead with a lot of stuff mentioned in the e-mails? Like the 21 Jump Street/Men in Black crossover, using the Sinister Six (notice how Marvel's still been pushing the Sinister Six in a lot of stuff), and so on.
Do you think they may do Spider-Verse with the three Spider-Men?
Austin Hall
>Also, Brock Lesnar should be Eddie Brock/Venom. >Eddie Brock >Brock Lesnar >Eddie Brock Lesnar
POTTERY O T T E R Y
Daniel Ramirez
reminds me of those sony emails >amazing spider-man vs spider-man 12 Billion
Zachary Stewart
>Also, Brock Lesnar should be Eddie Brock/Venom
This.
Nathan Phillips
I want it.
No sense wasting more than a decade of films with another reboot.
Dominic Hughes
No. Lesnar for Juggernaut. Alan Ritchson for Eddie Brock.
Isaac Barnes
If you'er going to go the multiverse route how about you cut out the Clone Saga shit and just do Spider-verse instead?
Caleb Hernandez
ever since The Social Network I thought Armie Hammer would make a fun Venom, like a Patrick Bateman waiting to happen, Peter starts working at the paper as a starry eyed poor kid while Eddie is a charming overly competitive ivy leaguer who keeps playing rough until black suit Spiderman fucks him up.
Kevin Myers
Why does Sup Forums keep miscasting Venom? Eddie Brock isn't a Patrick Bateman, a competitive Ivy Leaguer, Topher Grace, or an Abercrombie and Fitch model, for fuck's sake.
Camden Collins
I think they should cut out Clone Saga as well. Garfield would probably be up for doing it. Not sure about TM.
Waay too tall. Especially with Holland. With Garfield it wouldn't be so bad, but he'd tower over Holland the way Manlet-Man didn't.
Parker Martinez
Pls no, why can't you fuckers let go of those faggots already?
William Barnes
>Waay too tall. Especially with Holland. With Garfield it wouldn't be so bad, but he'd tower over Holland the way Manlet-Man didn't.
But isn't Venom supposed to be way bigger than Spider-Man anyway?
Dylan Hall
>Topher Grace will never play Peter
Michael Parker
I'm holding out hope for a Spider-verse movie and Garfield is with a random redhead and they have Mayday and she is in a movie.
Levi Williams
Did you stop reading the comics in the Nineties or something?
Kayden Morales
Ultimates Venom is just Evil Spider-Man. Hence Manlet Venom.
Lincoln Ramirez
>people actually want Manlet Venom
Anthony Green
KIIIILLLLL MMMMMEEEEE
Jeremiah Nguyen
What did they mean by this?
Brayden Davis
user I think you should read some of Sony's leaked e-mails
They were hoping to bring back Tobey
Carson Turner
>Armie Hammer >6′ 5″ >manlet
back to /fit/ with you there are no starting strength or Jeff Seid threads here for you
Robert Ward
>Armie Hammer >Winkelvoss Twinks >Venom
Millennials were a mistake.
Michael Rogers
>lanklet
ftfy
Also, box office poison, or did you forget the Lone Ranger already?
Dominic Reyes
Manlet Eddie is okay, especially next to manlet Peter.
Proper Venom would be a CGI monster not unlike the Hulk or the Thing. He'd just have to be there from the beginning a la Spectacular Spider-Man for it not to fall in the 90's edge venom, which sucks.
Blake Roberts
...I never realized how much I want this.
Nicholas Rogers
Venom is supposed to be bigger than Peter. Peter was always a manetl, but Venom was never one until the Ultimates incarnation of him, which led to us having a Topher Grace Venom.
Proper Venom is Brock Lesnar, the conqueror of the Undertaker's streak.
Austin Clark
Yeah, Eddie should be buff and taller than Peter, but he doesn't need to be too tall.
Venom should, though. Should be a huge CGI blob.
Camden King
>but he doesn't need to be too tall.
He's too tall because Peter is 15. He can still grow.
And Brock should be big not because he's a CGI blob but because, if you read the comics, you'd know he was fit even without then symbiote, and when the symbiote merged with him it's his muscles that are bulging.
See:
Christian Richardson
I know all this, but a) Peter's actor won't grow any more because he's 19 b) There's no huge difference in Venom being bigger than Brock because it makes for a believable human being and a still huge villain. It's also easy to explain his size difference.
I'm not arguing Brock should be 5'10, but a 6'2 buff enough guy will do. They've got multiple cinematic tricks up their cinematic sleeve.
Parker Cox
>but a 6'2 buff enough guy will do
This is what Lanklets believe.
David Hernandez
They made a 10-meter tall Paul Rudd.
I'm sure a couple of inches are no problem.
Tyler Ramirez
>depending this much on CGI and trickery
I bet you loved Rubber Muscles Batman too.
Ayden Moore
>adapting a fucking Slott story
Jackson James
I didn't know I wanted this
William Young
He has too big of a jaw to be Eddie. Hell, he doesn't even look like the cartoon.
Jackson Jackson
Spider-Verse is better, dude.
Jace Roberts
Alan Ritchson is 6'2.
Mason Lee
Michael Keaton doesn't look like cartoon Vulture either. Englund would though.
