It works well for like 2% of the population but it fucks over everyone else. Particularly young people who don't actually need healthcare plans and who can't actually afford healthcare plans but are now required by law to pay private companies anyways. And don't forget that it destroys full-time jobs in the low-skill market, meaning young people can only ever find part-time jobs anymore, making the cost of Obamacare even more crippling for them. Oh yeah, and the private health insurance companies are free to jack up the prices even further because, guess what, you're required to pay for it regardless of what they're charging! Ain't Obamacare great?

Tell that to my parents that were slapped with a $12k deductible and have to go down to Mexico to get affordable medical care while still having to pay monthly rates for a useless Obuma care.
