Red (1994)

...

Baraka, Chungking Express, Blade Runner, etc

My grandparents sextape.

Good choices, I really wish I could go back in time and watch those films again.

>Russian Ark
>Himiko
>Holy Mountain
>In The Mood For Love
>Suspiria

I've just watched Red for the first time three weeks ago in an art cinema. It was definitely one of my greatest movie experiences. Now I have to watch more Kieslowski.

Walden by Jonas Mekas

I'm going to have to say Barry Lyndon or Lawrence of Arabia

Raise the red lantern was visually pleasing tbqh

Recently, probably Blackhat. Shitty movie otherwise, though.

I would recommend the older films from Sokurov, Russian ark feels tame in comparison.
Print or Dcp?

The Neon Demon

Is that Piper "Shaken Baby Syndrome" Perri?

White > Blue > Red to be honest

>muh super 8
>muh home movies

That looks like Julie Delpy

looks like julie delpy desu

Das Boot

Tree of Life had some of the most beautiful visual sequences I've seen put to film, but the movie manages to balance it out because there's also a load of poor choices in it.

Not that guy, but you're a damn pleb, friend

>That looks like Julie Delpy
Affirmative.

Kill yourself, you literal nigger.

Assassination of Jesse James

...

Julie Delpy is literally the perfect woman.

...

typical Mekas fans, literal brainlets

this

Picnic at Hanging Rock

For B&W cinematography, easily pic related.

For color, probably The Tree of Life.

Pic related saved my life

>Tree of Life
CGI dinosaurs ruin it completely.

I have zero problems with this pick regardless of how new it is or lukewarm RT scores.

I would definitely put it amongst the most visually stunning movies ever made.

But that image is from thief.

but anything by shinoda is beautiful

High and Low is basically a clinic on shot composition. Kurosawa's prettiest film imo.

this

And double life over all, though i haven't seen any outside the trilogy and veronique.

Watch the Dekalog series next.

End of Evangelion

Was.
Was the perfect woman. Now she is old.

cool to see other Shinoda fans, Under the cherry blossoming trees is also worth a mention

yes, thats why its spoilered as it is unrelated
dont judge pls

Black Narcissus.

Jack Cardiff was a god.

In the Mood for Love
Raise the Red Lantern
The New World

is a short film about killing good?

Definitely one of the most visually stunning shots I've seen.

Gone With the Wind
Intolerance

There I win.

Yes, very good.

>CGI is impressive

Get better taste criterionbabbies

Avatar.

The Third Man is also good.

If nothing else, it's the most beautiful opening in film of all time.

Avatar is kitschy. Like a black velvet painting.

Watch Suspiria

Faust

Ah! Someone made a video with certain scenes from that movie and the music of Juno Reactor. Maybe you'll like it.

One of Vincent Price's worst films. Get better taste

the fountain.
both content and visuals.

dcp. they don't often use release prints anymore which is a shame.

I like the sets, though.

>the fountain

Easily

Actually a lot of theaters do, I would never pay for a dcp screening, but that's me.

The Trail of Lights

To the wonder

This so fucking much, i had a crush on Jill for the longest time until i learned she was played by Adam Sandler XD

This movie is underrated

...

My grandparents were all legit attractive in their day. I guess it only takes one generation to ruin everything. The WW2 generation really was the best.

Literally made for breeding
