ITT cartoons that need a reboot

ITT cartoons that need a reboot

I almost enjoyed the Secret Squirrel shorts more than 2 Stupid Dogs.

Wasn't Super Secret Squirrel a reboot already?

None

>reboot

>Hanna Barbera

>nowadays

Please, kill yourself.

I love Secret Squirrel but I don't trust a reboot these day.

>Secret Squirrel fights racism and intolerance now!

Super Secret Secret Squirrel was too good for this world.

Secret Squirrel's origin is actually based on one of Aesop's fables, which was used as part of a story in Canterbury Tales.

He later began appearing in Victorian children's literature, but was rather obscure. Disney discussed making a movie, but HB came along and "modernized" him based on James Bond and other super spy films. The bought a patent on the name and everything. So pretty much their SS was the only one was was allowed to be talked about.

The show wound up flopping though so HB shelved it. The never released the copyright though, and as long as it's attached, no one can create content based on Secret Squirrel or his original/earlier versions. Effectively they killed a character who has been in folklore since the 14th century all in the pursuit of fame and money.

...

These guys need more time on the TV.

>Secret Squirrel's origin is actually based on one of Aesop's fables, which was used as part of a story in Canterbury Tales.

What? Secret Squirrel has the deepest lore.

I'm watching Burn Notice and now I want to do a Secret Squirrel comic or something that imitates it. That sounds like a robot chicken sketch too.

>rebooting perfection
The correct word here is "continuation".

...

...

Just give me another point and click.

Dan Vs.

I fucking wish.

Something more Castlevania meets Ghostbusters in tone.

They should make a Hanna Barbera cinematic universe around Secret Squirrel.

Either that or a new game.

Or new comics.

New anything, please..... Please....

I know I did. Based Craig McCracken episodes.

>Wanting Neo-TellTale to make another game of them.

Fuck no. I prefer to leave it as it if rather than them turning sam & Max in an interactive "your choices matter" visual novel bullshit.

...

This mother fucking shit! It's so underrated 90's kids know what's up.

>Secret Squirrel's origin is actually based on one of Aesop's fables, which was used as part of a story in Canterbury Tales.

Cite your sources. What fable and what tale? I can't find any reference on google.

That just needs a new season. Badly.
I need my Chris.

It was ahead of time

>remember Sybil in the final chapter
idk why but it got me hard, pity theres no rule 34 of her

I wonder if David Kirschner can get the rights from H-B... they could potentially do a mini-series to conclude the show on Netflix. All the main character's VAs, save for Bloth are still alive.

It needs a real Reboot, not that shitty Code Lyoko Evolution rip-off they're working on now.

a new strange pasta is cooked every day

>Secret Squirrel
Post the pictures. You know full well which ones.

In a previous thread, I said that they should do something similar to DC Nation, but dedicated reboots of HB cartoons.

Couldn't agree with you more. Are you part of the Revival group?

...

would have been perfect for them to reboot it around the time Sharknado was a "big" thing

But wasn't that already a reboot? Shouldn't there be a reboot limit?

The only reboot I want to watch at this point is pic related.

Bravestarr

No, you kill yourself.
