The writing is passable and it still mostly has Williams on art for the first few years.
Then editorial wouldn't let them follow through on a story and they were immediately fired, leaving their run with no ending until the next (fucking wretched) run went back and ended it with an Annual.

It had very very nice art and ... pretty 'meh' writing, if I'm being honest. Most people dropped it as soon as the art team changed and everyone else did after a few issues because the writing was dull as fuck and the art wasn't anything to write home about either.
