Serious reply. It was not because people agreed with him, it's because most people were very misinformed and there was a massive anti-Harper campaign. Trudeau won the youth vote largely because he was a hip, active young looking man who was very athletic and attractive, you'll find a lot of the 18-22 year olds who voted for him only voted because they wanted to feel important since it's their first vote, and didn't even look into his policies. A lot of the young crowd that voted for Trudeau joke around about his policies now.

Then you have east canada, which is arguably the strangest, most backwards part of Canada. They always spew right-wing, very christian, pro-conservative opinions but ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS vote liberal only because conservatives abolished the cod fishery two decades ago, so the Maritimes and Newfoundland voted entirely liberal because they're a bunch of salty fishermen and don't know the true extent of trudeau's cuckery since all of the refugees avoid the east coast altogether and go to central and western canada.

You're seeing a lot of backlash against trudeau lately, but it's mostly just sarcastic jabs and humor poking fun of his policies rather than full out criticism.

harper government had a ton of glaring fuckups and policies hostile to younger demographics, minorities, etc. younger voters were actually mobilized to do something about it. some shit:

- many millions of dollars wasted on advertisements for a "job creation campaign" that never actually existed.
- fucking the scientific community. not giving a shit about reality in order to craft policy based on feelings
- tougher sentencing for petty crimes. too much money in the burning pit of enforcement and prisons. bullshit tactics to make old people feel "safe" at the expense of personal liberties
- on that note, terrible omnibus bills
- policies which fuck over indigenous. the common man for suburban white canada.
- shithead with bad opinions on many matters. a literal cuck, and that's an open secret many know about

there is a very long history of central canada fucking over the east coast. the food distribution system is one thing, where shit that arrives in halifax or wherever is often shipped to toronto, and then shipped back to the east coast. ridiculous, a small modern example. there are many reasons for the hostile provincialism. the dirty tricks quebec played to trap the east into long term, super cheap rates for energy has been disastrous. ontario has fucked the east in a number of ways doesn't care about the reality of living out there

Central Canada is responsible for all of the cucking and federal politics are literally written with just Ontario and Quebec in mind, they almost have zero impact on western and east canada.
