Unironically this if you're willing to learn the language. Japan is the country that most evenly applies racism. You'll never be Japanese, but if you are not east Asian you're not part of the in group, learn the language you'll get treated as most fairly as possible.
This INFURIATES white people who have never experienced racism (they are the biggest complainers about racism in Japan, especially white women). Language ability is the biggest differentiation between expats in the country when it comes to meeting women besides money.
