Its a really fun show in my opinion I can't wait for more episodes and hopefully some more plot explained

The official comic by Action Labs should be out this week . The English dub is alright . It's only a couple of voices that sound weird mostly Nino but the dub is good.

Why does Hawk Moth make minions out of children instead of just sending a bunch of butterflies to transform convicts?

They probably don't keep a prison in the middle of Paris and moving far enough to transform someone outside of Paris would probably interfere with his real life
He needs minions that are still controllable to a degree so taking up with literal hard core criminals might not be the most reliable sort for what he needs them to do
who you were before doesn't seem to have a direct relation to your power level after you transform, so criminals might not even make significantly better villains

Could also be a limitation of his Miraculous, he seems to be able to do a little persuasion but can't seem to force it on people.
Even when they're turned he can't control them fully and prods them into doing his bidding.

He seems to have some ability to control, just not directly, I remember him threatening to take away one villains powers when it didn't obey him and I feel like he magically caused another one pain when it didn't obey him
But also its not like there is some contract that keeps him safe from his own minions, seeing as Simon Says nearly killed him
he is after Ladybug and Chat Noir, he keeps attacking Paris because he knows that is where they are
He isn't trying to take over the world or some shit, he just wants to steal Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous, so why would he attack somewhere other than where they are likely to appear to stop him?
Also its unclear if the Butterfly Miraculous can empower two people at once. I think its limited to just one at a time but its possible that isn't the case

I'm interested in a second season, but I'll probably be waiting on a Mega for the episodes anyways so I'm in no rush. I'm more interested in picking up the DVDs of S1 right now.
What, as in a monthly comic or some sort of books they're putting out? Because I'm not really in a hurry to be spending another $5/month, especially when I would likely pick up the trade paperbacks anyways. Although I'm not familiar with Action Labs; if it is just screenshots from the show with word balloons, then no thank you.
He's turned a cop and a world-class fencer into minions. It's more a matter of opportunity than anything else. Plus, a transformed minion seems to be equally as effective regardless of who they were before. Puppetteer was a five year old but easily able to manhandle full grown adults. With a magic wand, mind you.
There's no guarantee that he can butterfly more than one victim, and especially not that he could affect a large group. And, besides, he wants some control over the victims, and it's easier to control the whims of a child than a full-grown adult who might be inclined towards theft or violence.
Season two won't begin airing till next year.
But with three fourty minuet episodes it'll be worth it.
As for books I am fairly sure that they'll just be screen shots of the show with dialouge tweaks.
Miraculous doesn't have an expanded universe.
I also doubt they want them sharing a world with this lovely thing.
I have very little experience with Action Labs and this was my first experience with what they publish.

Between the Bee, Peacock and Fox I'm really unsure who is gonna end up getting them, I think Alya will get one, and its possible that Lila will be given the Peacock given that she still hates Ladybug but her Akuma was dispelled so Hawkmoth might try to recruit her as a full time villain to back up his Akumas

Alya is candidate number one for getting the first new Miraculous.
After that I honestly think that the others are going to go to character that haven't been intorduced yet.
All that matters to me is that the bee Kwami has a power that lets them fire needles. Because that would be funny.
Also that Master Fu is actually Leonardo. I need that too.

I dont think we actually have confirmed dates yet, Summer 2017 was stated but as far as I am aware that statement was about the American English release, so its fully possible that the show might be returning sooner in France, hopefully there will be some word at SDCC, I assume they will have a panel there

Nathaniel's character needs to be developed a lot before we seriously consider making him a more common member of the cast, because all I could tell you about him is he is an artist and he has a thing for Marinette.

Is it me or does the company behind Miraculous seem like its trying to turn the entire animation industry on its head? I feel like every time I hear about them they are doing something ambitious and always seems to be pushing forward, while I feel like the 3 old networks just sort of flail around hoping they luck into something good, these guys know that what they have is good and plan to push until they are the most well known and most respected studio in the industry
Ambitious is good.
Because it means they're willing to try new things.
It also means that they can fail horribly, so support them when you can.
I skipped that one because I didn't want to start any lewd or imaginative conversations.

I knew a good amount of kids in school who were half asian of various forms, it really depends, some of them came out looking really asian, while others didn't look very asian at all, like they didn't even have the eyes and then others were more mixed looking, they still kinda had the eyes but they weren't quite as pronounced as many asians
you could get away with someone who isn't asians although they should try to get someone of mixed decent like Marinette is
He is basically one of 3 characters that pretty much stayed the same since the old pilot footage from like 2012, also despite being silly the pigeons forming B-52 bombers to fly over Paris was kinda cool
I guess it depends a lot on the budget and if it's going to be in theaters or on TV. If it's a TV movie, they'll probably cast literally whos, which should theoretically make casting even easier. Just cast actual models, irrespective of their acting abilities and make sure their suits look good and tight. Or just make it an official porn adaptation, I think that's what most of us really want.
