Haven’t been to Aus but the Canadians I know who have say that they’re pretty similar to us.

I find most Canadians to be bland but all of the Australians I’ve come across have been insufferable. Loads of them come to work in the parks here too, they think they’re the shit because of their accent.

I see people talking a lot about emigrating, as if it's a simple process. But how easy is it really to find an employer in another country that is willing to go through the whole visa process for you?
I know it depends on your field and experience level, but it sounds really difficult in general without the right connections.

I have a computer degree and a history of plastering (construction) so it won't be hard for me

It's something I've looked into for many years and will take 3 years out to visit each country and do some idle travelling

fair play, the people don't bother me it's more the country and life style

>work in the parks here too
Like groundsmen? Or?

I see. Well good luck.
If I were you, I'd go to Australia. But I guess I'm biased because I really don't like it here and I want to emigrate myself.

Mostly things like ski resorts, tourist centres, etc. I think Australians might get some sort of express way on visas.

this bugs me

just because canada is cold during winter, doesn't mean it's year round cold, away from the coasts a lot of the country can go from -40 to 40 over a year

cheers mate best of luck
thanks!
