Alright that was a kind of weird rally, will have to see what Nehlen's reaction will be but I think he was tipped off before hand.
Mainly what I'm seeing is him playing politics and while I don't like it this is double pronged techniqe.
One, he endorses his most vocal critics, this is dangerous to the independent vote, it will be viewed as weakness. On the other hand now that he gave endorsements the media can't latch on to it anymore and in addition. to that it indebts them to him and if they win it will lessen his stigma
Two, he calls attention to the importation of refugees who have a penchant for blowing shit up and EXPLICITLY states that regardless of Democrat or Republican (looking at you Ryan) this is tantamount to treason. This is a way to hedge his bets because while he didn't call out Ryan specifically Nehlen sure as hell is and hearing that is a dog whistle to his supporters that Trump is with them to an extent.

The drawback is that this wears out the media's credibility quickly. Even if you don't like Trump, you see that the media is actively and intentionally trying to destroy his campaign. Even in the old days when they gave time for Trump to clarify, they didn't give off that anti-Trump vibe as strongly. Now, it's so intense that not even the most devout Clinton supporter can deny it. I'm guessing Trump's fall is due to various stuff he's said in the past week that hasn't been taken well by some people.
The funny thing is that it was all totally avoidable. Like for example with the Khan thing, all Trump had to do was say: "I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm uncomfortable with the fact that you exploited your son's death for political purposes." That would have been a total home run for him -- nobody could have touched Trump if he had said it that way. But instead he said it in the way that generated the maximum negative press. Regardless of what you think about the press being in the bag for Hillary, it's just not a good idea for Trump to needlessly give them ammunition like that.
As for Hillary, I think the Bernie die-hards decided that if they don't vote for Hillary then it would have the same effect as voting for Trump. So they got on the Hillary train, like we knew they always would. Now that the BernieBots are on board, Hillary is finally as high as she is ever going to get. Every additional percentage point up will be exponentially harder for her to achieve.
Trump, on the other hand, has room to recover once people start forgetting about his comments.
