How common is it for students to work during the summer in your country Sup Forums?

>students
>work

I'd say at least half of them tries to find a job as soon as they go to highschool (16+).

I had my first summer job when I was 14 but I had a nasty nicotine addiction and cigarettes aren't cheap

Everyone in this country works since 15 y/o.
I had a supermarket job for a while but you make pure shit wages 200 euro a month. Now I do some crypto to save up for a car, and looking to some off the books (taxless) work in summer vacation so I actually end up with more than fucking 3 figures for a summer of work, but don't really know where to find this.
t. 18 y/o

ha i am working all the time during school too

It used to be more common, but a lot of the jobs traditionally preformed by young students are now taken by old people who are struggling to make end's meet (like OP's picture).

What’s the legal working age in your countries?

You can do stupid stuff like paper boy at 14.

very common. it's expected of you as part of growing up. many students work part time jobs even during the school season.

Very common.

Most teenagers at least get summer jobs for extra money, some work a little during the school year.

I am not sure but it's probably 15 or 16 yo here, but you can work only part time

Most people had a job in the final two years of high school
I got a job at 16 but I quit after 10 (ten) shifts because I'm a pathetic loser

sad pic wtf

neoliberalism in a nutshell

Jews are a wicked people

thank God my grandma is dead
I could not live to see her dignity suffer like that

everyone who isn't a failure does

and now for the ridiculous

Extremely common, see as a lot of them also work with school

I would never let my grandma work in a fast food restaurant

the S.W.E.A.T pledge cuck contract

is it because she is slow?

This is pathetic. How submissive can you be

I see this happening here too, pretty sad

>Italians
>Work

Work where?

>I believe the most annoying sounds in the world are whining and complaining

So this is why americans aren't bothered by the agonising screams of their babies being mutilated.

You have to be 16 years old to sign a contract as a "minor employee".
But hardly anyone below 18 looks for a legal job because having a legal job implies paying taxes.

>I understand the world is not fair and I"m okay with that
Truly the cuckold pact.

Fuck me Americans are disgusting.
No wonder they've been brainwashed into thinking that trade unions are communism and fighting for decent treatment, work standards and pay is something you should spit at.

My middle school gf worked weekends as a waitress in a restaurant and since she had great tits since she started puberty she earned a minimal wage of a full-time wageslave by working 6-8 days a week from tips alone

What was your first job?

salesman at computer software shop when i was 11.

This is more cucked behaviour than literally drinking another man's semen out of your wife's vagina

encarta encyclopedia on cd was my main sales article! followed by ms office on a thousand floppies lmao

14 yo
this is the age when you get your first passport
14-15 yolds can not work longer than 5h/day in the holidays (or whatever you call the period of the year when students don't have to go to school in english) and 2.5 h/day during the academic year (the period of time when students have to go to school)
16-17 yolds 7h/day and 3.5 h/day

Paper boy at 11

Did you look old for your age? My sis is 11, I can’t really see her working as a cashier since she still looks like a little kid.

construction when I was 14.

it's always summer here kek

lazy spics

18 years
before that you can only go by money under the table

oddly specific

...

I don’t see Brazil on the list

most of the low wage jobs are already taken by some guy with a degree working minimal wage so we kinda have no chance lol

We have often 30 days paid vocations, payd days ill, many official holydays, aaand many women work part time.

efficient britons

Pretty common

>Japan, 1.71k hours, lower than the OECD average

What? I was under the impression that the Japanese worked insanely long hours, like their life revolved around work. Is this only reported, or paid for, hours?
