>What is your favourite accent?

My favourite accents are the central african ones, they are just too cute.

italian accent is hot

French or German

That's really not fair when people don't know how terrible British accents can actually be. At least here the only one worse than meh is Boston

The only Br*tish accent that is remotely attractive is Londoners accent.
And that's a LONG shot.

Aussie is cute though. But Italian is the best.

The fuck likes American accents?

Post one?

t. never been outside america

French by far.
I'll never understand the British/Irish accents being attractive, most of them are ear piercingly terrible

>t. never been outside america

I've been to your flag before. I never met anyone in Europe that liked american accents.

I only like a few select ones you hear in some hip hop

excuse me?

maybe french or spanish

Must be a personal problem. I've met american guys that have made me question my sexuality with just their accent.

You probably sound like a nasally weirdo.

tfw no southern belle

>I'll never understand the British/Irish accents being attractive, most of them are ear piercingly terrible
I gave it some thought, and I found that what most people mean by a "British" accent is in fact this thing called Received Pronunctuation. From what I can procure about it RP isn't really a "native" accent to anyone, rather it's the way the British upper class teaches itself to speak. Think of things such as those fancy British boarding schools.

This means that many people are in fact infatuated with some sort of fabrication by the British upper class to distinguish themselves from working class scum (who do generally speak in disgusting ways in my opinion, ways that make me prefer American English over British English outside of RP). Given how classist British society is this isn't even all that surprising.

What do foreigners perceive as an "American" accent? I bet it's something numeral like an Ohio accent.

I certainly wouldn't call a Brooklyn or Minnesota accent attractive.

unironically hollandish

Meant to say "neutral".

>What do foreigners perceive as an "American" accent?
What do you call the pronunctuation mostly used by your news reporters and the like? I'd say that's as close to "standard" American as it gets. I've never heard a CNN presenter speak with a Brooklyn accent or Southern Drawl.

most media from the UK doesn't involve RP though, in fact RP is considered dead even in phonetics, being replaced by SSE (southern standard english)

what accent is this, I love the way he says "sentence"

youtube.com/watch?v=m5vw4ajnWGA

I can distinguish between a few different ones like New York, Southern, California and the Canadian sounding states like North Dakota

Post a Central African accent I mean

>What do you call the pronunctuation mostly used by your news reporters and the like?

That's a midwest ("Ohio") accent. News companies from around the country will actually recruit hosts and reporters from Ohio because they're the most mutually intelligible. No joke.

>what accent is this, I love the way he says "sentence"

Regardless of what part of the country you're in, blacks will have a somewhat unique dialect. It's politically incorrect to say that, but it's the truth. It takes a lot of influence from the southeast US because that's where the overwhelming majority of black lived before the industrial revolution.

So it's really just "black", as much as I'm not supposed to say that.

>American
That's a nice accent, I agree

Did I hear ya say that ya ain't likin' southern Merican accents?

I'm gonna break down yer dor and lynch ya!

Depends on if they're middle class or "Urban" blacks. Someone from Little Creek Falls suburbs will not sound like someone from East St. Louis.

but in a softer voice is so qt

>Italian
Nice

Don't understand how it isn't higher

Same Tbh

F*ench is the most beautiful for me

Polish

>and that's a long shot
Not according to most people

>"doy in a foyer"

I dont understand

I just don't find british accent fascinating. I like american accent more.

>doy in a foyer
what did he mean by this?

The British accent is by far the most pleasant garble uttered by any filthy foreigner. I set all my devices to speak to me in British English when I can, because it sounds that much more precise. If I hear an American woman I immediately come to the conclusion that she is speaking to me while chewing bubble gum and being railed by a basketball American while appearing on the whole uninterested

If that's what you picture then you have mental issues.

That british accent sounds gay

there is no british accent that sounds like that

Although it sounds like that for Asians.
When english people say shit like "calm" or "dear" I want to fucking murder them

I like French accents desu. It often feels very melodic to me. At least based on what I've heard.

You're a cosmopolitan little bumboy, aren't you?

Either the southern belle or British posh.

do you mean southern accents? Because the rest of us sound bland.

10 minute conversation with a southern belle and you'll change your mind.

Scandinavian accents are pleasant

It's true. It's the girl from that selfie song. Every fucking time

Seems weird to me, having heard it during all my school years I can't stand it any more.

i like british working class accent

>american accent
im sorry what?

What Euro countries do you think like our accents the most lads?

You know, like, the American accent.

Did I hear ya say that ya ain't likin' southern Merican accents?
I'm gonna break down yer dor and lynch ya!

I guess it's when you get use to it. It becomes less interesting. I doubt anyone would rank their own accent as the highest.

americans dont have accents you brainlet
>southern accent
only fucking appalachians talk like that

Moldova

Probably, much like foreign girls always seem hotter I guess

Whatya talkin' bout?
I was born in Texas! We all talk like this!

>mfw based standard american ""accent"" is accentless and all other english speakers have accents

WELSH ACCENT

That joke just flew way over your head bud.

everyone in america talks the exact same you liar

When I was younger I used to think British accents sounded sophisticated and hot. Now I think they sound like trash slags.

hate British accents mainly because im more exposed to them other anglophone nations are pretty annoying too
and all Asian accents are awful
I think Id prefer a mute honestly

>No Russian

Wtf, Russian accents on girls make me so hard.

this is retarded. there's at least 3 distinct american accents and god knows how many """""british""""" accents
