enjoy sticking out like a sore thumb for being white, being stabbed and murdered, have your backpack stolen, your remains thrown into a trashbin just to be found a few days later by scavengers and later have the forensics drink mate and eat facturas over your cold, dead ass just for the culprits to never be found.

Austrian piece of shit.

...

If you don't want to say anything nice, it's better not to say anything at all. I'm a half greek-turk quarter Iranian quarter russian guy. People wouldn't even notice that I'm a foreigner I look like an argentinian.

Why only Germany? Why not Spain?

...

europe is beatiful but it feels like seeing the same over and over again in different countries

Why Ethiopia? How is Panama? Should I visit?

Well germanic countries are mostly the same, but the is a huge diffrence between south europe and northern europe. Especially if you value experiences with people and meeting strangers more than landscapes

...

...

central asia...

Muh Crimea fgt

Do you have any recommendations for asia? I know almost nothing about it other than what the countries are and their history is

I like ethiopian culture, food and specially their history. For me is very interesting, besides south africa is the only country that grabs my attention.

And yes please come to Panama, we have almost everything the average normal tourist is looking for(beaches, hotels, rainforest, comfy places) and all is very close, just a couple of hours or even minutes drive. And things are very cheap :)

Crimea is glorious Holol clay.

the world is pretty boring

Absolutely China, definitely China. Japan cannot compete with the country in terms of dynamism

...

Yeah I definetly wish to see some northern south american country. Will Panama gove me a good impression of overall life there?

What's the spanish/english ratio? Will I get around with very broken spanish? Is saftey an issue at night or in rual areas? Thank you for answering btw.

>Planning to visit India and Pakistan
>Not planning to visit Nepal and Bhutan

Really? That sounds good! Apart frm the obvious like Taiwan and Hong Kong? I heard good things about Southern China from the internet but I would like to hear personal experiences.

Also Iran is the most underrated country. Iranian architecture(Mashhad, Shiraz, Isfahan) will marvelously astonish you, if you are ok with abandoning visa-free entering in America

Crimea has always been glorious Russian clay until it was unrightfully gifted to shithole called Ukraine some 40 years ago
Dang, the whole Ukraine is rightful Russian clay and only exists because Americans enjoy sponsoring revolutions

I know, I have Iranian roots. But I don't blame people for not wanting to visit. The political situation makes things difficult and gives a very wrong impression of the mentality and culture there. I am hopeful one day things change for the better and more people get to experience the wonders of one of the oldest countries n the world

immigrant spotted

not going back to the north?

I haven't been to Taiwan and Hong Kong lol. I strongly recommend you to go to internal China, like Yunnang Province(pic related).

The problem is China is now increasingly developing that their values on how ancient architecture should be preserved are now deteriorating thanks to commercialism.

not worth it. The airport checks will be horrible. I really wanted to visit the middle east too. Heard guys are so nice to each other, random people will invite you for meals in their home. Plan to visit Lebanon and Turkey even though Turkish people are assholes because they're european.

>sees my flag but not my name

Oh yeah i didn't see ur map sorry lol. My trip was enough to turn me into Persiaboo. The most aesthetic country in islamsphere

There are too many countries I want to visit, so I'm stealing this idea.

Doesn't Yunnan count as southern china too?
>architecture should be preserved are now deteriorating thanks to commercialism.
Really I thought the 70s had the biggest impact on abandoning traditional chinese culture and only Hong Kong and Taiwan wer enot impacted by this, at least that is what they tought us at school here

>Will Panama give me a good impression of overall life there?
Yes, sure.

What's the spanish/english ratio?
Everyone knows spanish
In the capital like 75% knows some basic english, speacially because we use a lot of english words. If the person had formal education surely knows some english. But the rest of the country it's rural so, im not sure

Will I get around with very broken spanish?
Sure, but prepare to be called a gringo

Is saftey an issue at night or in rual areas?
Rural areas pretty safe, the people on those towns know each other, you get a friend, the town is your friend.
But in the city and colon at night is sketchy af so be careful
And if you go to a comarca or a "deep forest" adventure PLEASE STICK TO YOUR GUIDE, you do not want to end like pic related

Depends where in Turkey, western turkey is pretty much just like greece, just a little bit poorer compared to greece , which also means you can book 5 stars all inclusive hotels for a great price and still experience a beautiful landsape. (Paid Roughly 1000 Euros for me and my ex-gf for 7 nights all inclusive in one of the nicest hotels in antalya) Central turkey is simmilar to Iran very welcoming and very friendly, if you don't delibratley disrespect their customs, Turks are a little less tolerant on that than Iranians. Eastern Turkey is politically to unstable too recommend visiting but it's simmilar to central turkey and has more simmilarities to Iran and the caucasus altough people may be suspicious of foreigners at first.

Lebanon is also very simmilar to Iran from what I heard, People in the cities especially the youth are open to foreigners.

Thank you! I hope I can make some connections to panama before visiting

Sorry for the quality. I’m on the ipad

why is every brazilian I meet is one of 3. religious fanatic, hyperactive or nihilist

I've heard the eastern part of Turkey, i mean turkey other than Istanbul is very friendly. It was just after 2016 August failed coup when i visited Turkey, so the city was literally filled with waving Turkish banners and flags with Erdogan on them. I visited there at the really weird moment.

Maybe Yunnan belongs to Southern China lol i don't know much about the categorization of Chinese geography. It's true their "Revolution" fucked themselves up, but the essential problem is that they are exploiting their great heritages for commercial reason and do not notice they have more historical values than commercial values. I felt really sad when in Liijang, since they are literally ALL filled with souvenir shops.

Anyway China is very nice. Since i'm Japanese, i had some bad experiences 2bqh(you know we had many historical problems like war crimes), but there were a certain number of nice guys.
Visit China, and if you have enough time to go across the Japan Sea and visit the neighboring small archipelago, Herzlich willkommen!

who cares

they're the trash of the world

Oh I will definetly , probably right along visiting Kyoto/Osaka. Arigatou gozaimashita!

hyd :/

t. 18 year old poorfag

>Nepal
I'm not very fond of climbing
>Bhutan
Entrance of Gaijins in the country is very, very limited
Laos is recommendable :D

Glad to help :)

Kind of interested in central Asia/the middle east in general but nothing specific and don't want to die

hey with how much money do you think I can survive, visiting all the major islands on Japan?

I have been to Iran over 14 times and nothing ever happened to me, I do blend in with the locals though and I never ventured very far on my own.

It's more of a case of "I can't be bothered"

Hahaha really interesting question. I can go around all the major cities all around Japan at less than 1000$, sleeping rough, using local train free pass, eating only once a day. It will take around 15~20days

...

...

So depends on how you travel. I literally traveled in Europe like that, for i am a poor student. Are you a student too?

What would a train ticket from Kyoto to Osaka cost? How would a foreigner manage to get an affordable place to stay in the cities?

Speaking of central Asia, why is it so god damn beautiful? I'd kill to leave somewhere like this but you know, first world and relevant

>What would a train ticket from Kyoto to Osaka cost?
Kyoto to Osaka costs only less than 10€.

How would a foreigner manage to get an affordable place to stay in the cities?
My gaijin frieds were all using Air BNB. cheap hostels(25€~) are also nice。

Some random pictures of Kyrgyzstan

oooh thanks, but I like to eat a lot. So that might be a problem hehehe

yes, I am

Uninhabited plains are everywhere in the States though, aren't they?

etc

Low population density (so you see vast amounts of mostly untouched landscapes), mostly politically stable due to low strategic importance (no wars ravaged the place) and an originally nomadic and shamanistic people that respect nature for the most part

They're kind of uninteresting where I am [planning on moving to soon]. Plus it's usually either farmland or owned by the government

>I like to eat a lot
Let's take an example, you must pay at least 50€ to eat decent sushi. Ramen is very affordable since it costs only 6~7€ but is still cruel for us poor studentfags. You can use Couchsurfing to save staying cost.

In Morocco, i met one German guy who's been to Japan. He said Japan is the country which is harsh to poor travelers like backpackers lmao

Ive been to every country in contenental Europe and Asia and most of MENA.

I just haven't been to out of the way places like Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc

>must pay at least 50€ to eat decent sushi
Holy cow.
>Ramen is very affordable since it costs only 6~7€
I'm assuming when you eat outside though? Not that it is very likely you'd be able too cook yourself but you can eat on less than that if you live there, right?

Well I posted desert, but the plains are just flat grassland and that's it
In all fairness I was rating it on a "not ruined by people" basis. We have a lot of nice geography but they have us beat. Pic related represents some of the nicest places I've been in the country, although of course there's been a lot of editing to the make the image more vibrant

Fez was incredibly beautiful mon ami :)

Only visited US/Mexico. Don't wish to visit anywhere else.

damn, a "top sushi" here cost 15-20 USD. And I thought it was expensive. Anyway I'm planing to have some savings by the time I go there

t. Visiting Georgia but not Azerbaijan

Can't blame u really

Yeah of course, you can make a living much cheaper if you cook yourself. less than 2~3€ for one meal probably?

Even here it can be pretty expensive, but there's a point (around after $20-30) where you're just wasting money, the same applies to steak

This is unironically the only good thread I've seen on Sup Forums in at least weeks.

>tfw you have never traveled to other countries.
life is suffer.

It's not because I don't like Azerbaijan, it's just when you have been to Northof Iran (Shomal) and been to the caspian sea you already got the jist of Azeri culture and nature, Georgians have a diffrent culture to offer that's foreign to me

top sushi here costs more than 200$ lmao, fucking snobbish restaurant

1500 $ is enough to go around here i guess, the trick is using local trains free pass called "Seishun 18 kippu". Have fun!

youtu.be/liEXh9g5Y2o

>puts fish on top of rice
>that wirr be $500 stupid gaijin

(someone had to do it)

Really?
youtu.be/liEXh9g5Y2o

I suffered "ching chang chong" literally more than 50 times in 10 days :(
Worth it 2bqh, but it's enough for us common people to pay 30$ to eat good sushi lol

What are other japanese dishes one should have tried other than ramen and shushi? Feel like going to a genuine japanese restaurant in the inner city

"Ai donto rikuesuto mosuque!!!"

You've been places.

>Worth it 2bqh
At that point you're paying more for the novelty and bragging rights than anything if I'm being honest

What are you on about? These people are more Turkish with a dash of soviet union, central Asia and abject poverty.. but I guess all muslims are alike to whites.

Anyway Azerbaijan was not worth the old 2 week submit your passport at the embassy and then have a three hour interview at the border when you cross visa regime, and it still isn't worth the 30 US$ e-visa. I just go to Georgia and Azerbaijan for health reasons (sulphur baths, mud volcano swimming, black oil baths (as in crude oil from the land surface, warmed by geothermic nature), and the black sand magnetic beach.

I have mild rickets you see (muh childhood neglect and poverty).

Georgia is a nice adventure destination. Armenia and Azerbaijan are boring and horrible boeder crossings. Just go for a day trip on the night trains to cross them off your list. DO NOT go to Noegorno Karabakh (Armenian occupied Azerbaijan land) or South Ossetia. Abkhasia can be done and the Autonomous oblast of Azerbaijan called Nakhivan, but expect loads of questions corssing the border at both, and possible entry refusal. Also the latter can only be flown to from Baku and flights are often full for days. You can only book flights in person when you are in Baku.

Definitely soba. It embodies zen(i'm not joking). The simplicity of soba is the quintessence of Japanese cuisine(i'm not joking seriously)

Guess I'll be cook most of the trip so no problem. Thanks a lot!

Going to be going to Hong Kong and Macau next month
I'd like to go to Taiwan and Malaysia the most, but if I couldn't go to them and got to go to the other places I wouldn't complain.

I'm part Iranian genious.I know Azeris alright, they can meme all they want but they are still just like Iranians deep down.

Which soba? I see so many diffrent versions on the internet, though I'm guessing if I ask for soba they will serve me the correct one. Do you have appetizers to soba? What about desert? Is drinking Sake with it fine or should you drink after you have eaten?

Yeah but is there any food whose price consists only of taste :(? 300$ comes from the chef's 50 years spent for single-mindedly polishing his art of sushi, and best ingredients. 300$ seems still expensive for us tho.
That's the best solution :)

How are you posting on Sup Forums from the mainland? What wizardry is this?

Yeah but you're probably coconut. Anyway youre Kurdish i bet. Kurdish are a type persian. Armenians are Kurds too

I literally pay $20 a year to have the privileged of posting on a Bhutanese Shadow Puppetry forum

>Which soba?
Soba with grated yam is my recommendation.
>Do you have appetizers to soba?
Ja
>What about desert?
Nein
>Is drinking Sake with it fine or should you drink after you have eaten?
You can drink sake whenever you want while eating soba.

Also it's no so expensive , you can enjoy it around 20€ at most.

* privilege

>Yeah but is there any food whose price consists only of taste :(? 300$ comes from the chef's 50 years spent for single-mindedly polishing his art of sushi, and best ingredients. 300$ seems still expensive for us tho.
Even with unlimited skill and the best ingredients you can still only take sushi so far, and whether the price justifies it is up for debate. Diminishing returns is a huge factor with food quality compared to price in restaurants

Ultimately it's worth whatever someone's willing to pay, but still. Also deleted post because I put the labels on backwards

K.
There are other countries I'd like to visit too, but these are at the top of the list, basically.

You can pay money to evade the golden shield? How does that work?

Thank you! Is it ok to drink tea before sake? Or is that considerd uncultured?

I'm not really evading it because I can still browse Sup Forums without my pass whereas I can't access youtube or twitter at all without it. I just can't post here without a pass because that requires Google services, and they're all blocked.
Sup Forums is already such a niche thing in the west, it's an even nicher thing here. Virtually every poster in /sino/ is a foreigner, and ever poster with this flag is a foreigner too. There's just no point in blocking it. Reddit isn't even blocked but sometimes it can be really slow and imgur doesn't work.
When I get back home I'll use my pass until it expires, and probably renew it.

Yeah i lost this debate :( also my major is not economics so dunno diminishing returns
There's no strict rule in Japanese cuisine, you can drink tea whenever you want since soba used to be kinda fast food in Edo period
