I made this thread yesterday but it got drowned out so here we go then:
Alright lads and lasses. So I know you all really are a smattering of people but I also know a lot of yous consider yourselves traditionalists among other things,, I've been lurking and posting for the better part of a year but I'm with my English friend here and he wanted me to make this thread. Ask a Amisch man who left the life two years ago today at the age for twenty four, ANYTHING. Also not sure how to prove it but go ahead and ask.
Pic unrelated

Most inbred thing you've done

THE CRYSTAL MAZ HAS YOURE SOUL

what happens if you get caught fucking an amish qt?

Walked in on my older sister naked and masturbating when I was 17 and she was 20 Nothing really happened though. I can guarantee you on the whole, there was less inbreeding than goes on in your country though

>ANYTHING
Your mother's recipes, please.

Aight f.a.m.
Depends. If you're English they'll probably dispose of you in the woods. If you're of good stock and she gets pregnant, they'll keep the kid. Chances are though that you won't incidentally have sex with one as we never let each other alone when we'd go into the town and stuff

Oh, that's a bit far :^)

Lancaster or Cleveland?

Lancaster but when I moved I moved as far away from the life as I could.

No one else?

so why did you leave?

The goofy ass haircuts. To be honest mostly because of the family dynamics. Once I got some real exposure to the rest of the world I realize there were some things that didn't sit well with me. By modern societies standards I'd still be considered a bit too traditional but thankfully I managed to take my wife with me, which if you know much about people who have left, has a lot of complicaions.

I suspect there are few people who interact with or understand Amish culture enough to have any questions.

Every other Thursday I buy food from local Amish, but I haven't exactly learned anything about them. The boys do an excellent impression of smug anime girl reaction images. They seem to gossip and giggle a lot. It's probably an interesting time for them, people-watching for hours. Not exactly sure about the legality of having an 8 year old run a register. They smell like their diet consists of 40% butter.

My Dad is obsessed with the Amish and hired them many times and I have massive respect for the Amish.

Are most of you guys heavy drinkers and also why did you leave that humble lifestyle?

What did you think of Kingpin??

i like her body-show off scenes in that

...

>I suspect there are few people who interact with or understand Amish culture enough to have any questions.
You might be right.
>Every other Thursday I buy food from local Amish, but I haven't exactly learned anything about them. The boys do an excellent impression of smug anime girl reaction images.
Wew.
>They seem to gossip and giggle a lot.
There's a bit of an ingroup meme of sorts that our men gossip more than our girls, so it's funny that you mentioned that. It's a pretty common thing.
>It's probably an interesting time for them, people-watching for hours. Not exactly sure about the legality of having an 8 year old run a register. They smell like their diet consists of 40% butter.
Speaking of legality, you'd be surprised what goes on when there aren't any English around.

How much do amish people really know about society? Can you describe a situation where you felt shocked by new information that we "English" take for granted?

>Are most of you guys heavy drinkers
-_-
>and also why did you leave that humble lifestyle?
I still live a humble lifestyle, just not as humble as would be humble. It was mostly just the way the family units worked and some of the uh... stuff that goes on behind the scenes (which usually isn't too bad)
Never seen it.
She's a big guy

>Speaking of legality, you'd be surprised what goes on when there aren't any English around.
Please elaborate on this. I would like to believe you are real.

Do you miss the lifestyle at all? Being raised in a society where I can have all means provided for me through financial gain, I sometimes think it would be nice to be able to provide for myself through my own labour and knowledge about farming, basic construction, etc. A profound satisfaction would arise from that I feel like. Also, you're probably better well equipped to take care of yourself when shit hits the fan than I, I imagine.

Well, the fact that married couples use birth control blew my mind. Aside from that we do have plenty of exposure to the English but we just don't participate in everything.

Why do you call those mongrel race americans English?

>Jewel Staite

can't go talking about stuff with my dick erect

What is your opinion on the EU?

>Please elaborate on this. I would like to believe you are real.
Usually we have agreements with local law enforcement so in some matters we take care of our own more than you'd think. Nothing too weird though, no incestual orgies or abducting English men to inseminate our women.
>Do you miss the lifestyle at all?
Well I mostly left the community stuff and I've toned down on the religious stuff (obviously). One big thing now is that I'm working a regular job for pay and trying to save up so I can buy some land here so I can have a garden and some other stuff since I still think self sufficiency is the best bet.
> Being raised in a society where I can have all means provided for me through financial gain, I sometimes think it would be nice to be able to provide for myself through my own labour and knowledge about farming, basic construction, etc. A profound satisfaction would arise from that I feel like. I guess that's one way to look at it.

Because they speak English and a lot of us don't speak it alone
Pretty much evil incarnate

>they speak english
They speak American, not proper English

This may sound like a random question but did you know about modern history, like WWII, as well as current events like ISIS? I have wondered before how it would be understood from an amish perspective. I imagine that you all think the apocalypse is already upon us.

>They speak American, not proper English
And...?
We're aware of the stuff but we're probably taught about as much as your average American actually retains.

They're not English, they are sub-human mongrel race americans

Okie dokie buddy, calm down now

How is it that your damned bread keeps making more? Amish witchcraft, that friendship bread of yours

Why do you fuckers like shoplifting so much

There's a small Mennonite community near a gas station I manage, and every time they roll a van through town our inventory is way off on random shit

They just kind of bustle around the store babbling in dutch to each other, it's also mostly femalesfemales I see in public, why is that

>Once I got some real exposure to the rest of the world I realize there were some things that didn't sit well with me.
I think this is the part that we'd all like to know more about. Many of us here at Sup Forums have had a moment where we realize that much of what we were taught growing up was wrong. What was this moment for you?

Also what do amish people think about jews?

God :^)

What are most Amish criticisms of modern life, technology aside?
What are YOUR criticisms of modern life, now that you've integrated into it?

Have you tried to date outside Amish community? I guess the broader question is what has it been like trying to meld with societal norms much different than you're accustomed to?

I am an "Englishman" and i want to join the Amish. How do i do it?

Mennonites and Amisch aren't interchangeable.
>What was this moment for you?
The way that they treated my wife about a year in. It was all over stupid petty stuff and the stupid petty stuff always exploded into shitfests
I'd say most of it centers around the sinfulness of modern society. What is often refereed to as degeneracy here for example. Things like the place of women, etc...
>What are YOUR criticisms of modern life, now that you've integrated into it?
A disconnect between how they live and why they live I guess.
Nope. As I mentioned before, I'm married and that was all before we left.

Are you voting for Donald Trump? And what are you thoughts on the Emperor of Mankind? Do you hate the Jews?

The best answer to that is going to be: Go ask your local Amisch.
It's not like a club where you just pay your dues and get in.

>Are you voting for Donald Trump?
Nope, Jill Stein :^).
>And what are you thoughts on the Emperor of Mankind?
He's a bombastic loudmouth and not someone I would like to personally know.
>Do you hate the Jews?
Personally? Yes.

But i wanna fuck a Amish cute girl

I can respect your vote for Jill cause the environment is important and shit and on the bonus side you despise the Zionist

Do Amisch also hate Canadians just like all Americans?

>Personally? Yes.
Do your amish roots have any role in this?

thegatewaypundit.com/2015/10/report-donald-trump-stopped-baseball-bat-beating-on-new-york-city-street-in-1991/
there is more behind the man than what the (((media))) shows you

Not how it works. Unless you want to believe the rumors that you can "fuck a Amish cute girl" and get paid if you're of good stock.
It was sarcasm. Honestly its hard to pick the lesser of evils for me in this case. Hillary is horrible. Trump is a jackass. Stein is an authoritarian. Gary Johnson is a dude weed lmao
Depends on the people

What do the amish think of muslims?

youtube.com/watch?v=7LYRUOd_QoM&index=4&list=LL_KDx7de9lcTMucuaKLNBUA

>Do your amish roots have any role in this?
I'd say so, yes. Jewish values are complete incompatible with the world view.
Oh I know about that story, I'm sure he's a great guy and all in private but he lacks principles

We don't really think of them. I'll just leave this here and let you come to your own conclusions:
pbs.org/newshour/updates/syrian-refugees-find-a-safe-haven-in-amish-country/
Yeah, I've seen parts of that.

Did you like Firefly?

youtube.com/watch?v=BuiW_Jagl4U&list=LL_KDx7de9lcTMucuaKLNBUA&index=8
Hillary has no boundaries if you watch that documentary when you have time you will see the guy who made it released it free for Normie Americans to see how evil she actually is. This is documented evidence of Trumps principles

Do the Amish like niggers?

that guy has a point buddy, americans are not english, you look like a jew, you mind if i call all amish jews from now on? would other amish mind if i misidentified their culture? As for my question...hmmm, have you gotten into technology at all? obviously your on the net now but have you played video games? been to the cinema? watched a porno?? do you own a smartphone?

HA fuck you man, americans and english arent interchangeable but you dont seem to mind.

>Did you like Firefly?
Yeah, I'm watching it on netflix right now. Too bad that it got shut down so short
Alright, I'll watch it later
No.

Sprichts du Deitch?

Do the amish speak german or dutch?

German dialect
source: am Mennonite

This is the stupidest fucking thing for you to get hung up on. It's obviously for historical reasons when non-Amish were assumed to be English colonists. Stop being downs syndromed.

What a filthy mennonite

You're missing the point entirely.
:^)

German, there are a few dialects though and some get pretty separated from German.

ok my mennonite friend lets move on.
do you like this song:
youtube.com/watch?v=lOfZLb33uCg
and is it an accurate depiction of menno....amish life.

ok spic dont worry, im not that bothered anyway, you go be friends with mennonite op.

> was hat er damit gemeint?
:(

what exactly is this good stock you keep mentioning? explain

> When Britfags try desperately to stay relevant in 2016

Kek

>the Amish should change their ways and vernacular because some British man is getting angry that his wife's son is have relations with a Paki
Also that song is pretty funny. In fact when I was still in the community we had this one English guy who was sitting in his car and pulled out his mp3 and plugged it into his car radio just to play that song while we sat outside waiting for one of us to finish some business. I didn't realize it was a parody at the time so when I first heard the original I thought it was kinda weird why they'd make a serious song out of something so light hearted

Good breeding stock, not a mongloid or something

Don't the Amish learn German?

I mean that you're not very tricky and I don't like speaking Deitsch around non speakers.
Tall Germanic healthy men. It's a half joke tbqh

How does this make you feel?

ok, LARPer.

It's German but not really. Remember that it's a derivative of a few different pre-reform dialects. I'd say it's comparable to Ukrainian and Russian in so far as how much a speaker of one can understand another. The biggest changes though are simply spellings of things and how a lot of stuff is pronounced

>ok, LARPer.
Go ahead and believe what you want.

Do you ever worrh now that your wife has been freed that she will go for some BEC

my wife and son were killed by pakis actually but thanks for sparking that memory. The point im trying to make is that nobody likes to be mislabelled, im an englishman, i was born here, i can trace my family back to 1653. Your 'english' friends ancestors turned their back on their heritage and lost the right to call themselves english, and the right to be called english. and the chances are he has more german blood than english anyway.
As for britains relevance today we still have massive influence across the globe, we still have a healthy economy, we have a strong military and in the near future we will have back our sovereignty, and with it stronger ties to our old colonies not to mention our other global friends, this is britain unplugged my butter churning chum, see us in the next 10 years or so as we grow and grow.

No, she's a good loyal woman.
Wow you're flustered

Serious question. Are you drunk?

>thinking she can resist the big english cock

Whatever, is she good looking? Does she compare to a girl you could get on the street

>left the amish
>loyal
She will become infected with the mental diseases affecting all western women these days

Also whats it like not having porn and having it now

im legitemately medicated, its not pleasant, i cant sleep, i havent slept for more than 2 hours at a time in over 6 months. This does not detract from the fact that i dont like people calling non english english. Its the same as the fucking pakis that where born here, 'yeah i was born in manchester so im a brit' NO YOUR FUCKING NOT!

>Whatever, is she good looking?
Pretty average. Still doesn't wear much if any makeup and dresses pretty modestly.
>Does she compare to a girl you could get on the street
4-5/10 by most standards.
Don't really jack off to porn. I went through about four month where I did though and that was a pretty big low point for me.
I was the one that kinda pushed it, she just wanted to stay. I just didn't want our future children (she was pregnant at the time) to grow up in such a toxic enviornment

>medicated
Is that what they call illicit narcotics over there?

They call them "psychoactive substances"

Ok, well you are coming off as extremely drunk. Go to bed mate.

Take a nap friend, do what: said

Do the amish consider themselves american or just amish?

Not the same guy look at the post id

>what is mobile posting
I guess you're right, sorry

That right there is a complicated question. Go ahead and ask the Mennonite guy that called me out though since I'm clearly just LARPing and not actually Amish

Alright OP
Of all the places on the internet you come here? Why?
And what was your first reaction to the Internet?

>stuff that goes on behind the scenes
like what? you can tell us. it's not like any amish are going to read this
