There have been threads for a couple of days, so, Iunno.
Didn't it get released already?

They did a Rooster Teeth and delayed the public release, now its just been pirated like mad. idk why people think the "First" business model works at all desu.

For Kickstarter backers .

No body ripped off the pilot so there's no much to talk

Looks alright...I'd watch it if it pops online.

Because all the threads get shitposted into oblivion by three people
OP never delivered
Alfie Poster died

Pretty much this. Too bad I have heard good things from those who watched it so far. Hope it gets picked up. Always down for a good action series.

I'll support it because we badly need more original cartoons, cartoons with professional looking character designs, and non-comedy cartoons.

Also robo-lolis

it looks like the gayest thing since gay went to gaytown, are you high?
I'm cringin at those flippin designs and can only imagine what the writing'll be like

looks fun as hell, though the girl's voice seems a bit iffy.

Only problem i have is she sounds too "old"

Real question tho, can this be considered a cartoon? the whole thing reeks of anime even if it's made in the west.
It really irks me to call it a cartoon when the characters looks more like they came from an episode of tenchi muyo or trigun.

Because despite how cool it looks, every thread involving it becomes shit.

Which is a shame since Im a fan of Thomas

Why would it not be considered a cartoon? Do you not consider Avatar a cartoon? Do you not consider Doraemon an anime?

That and it's actually animated by a Japanese studio. But those that work on it call it a cartoon. So I guess?

Anime literally means cartoon
Sup Forums and Sup Forums are just autistic

Most cartoons are animated in Korea, and many Disney WB cartoons in the '90s were animated in Japan. Having a Japanese studio doesn't really mean anything on that front.

The writers, directors, designers and storyboarders are where you generally place the country if origin.

The distinction is irrelevant to anyone over the age of 12.

So by your logic PSG shouldn't be considered anime. DESU i would love to have PSG threads on Sup Forums

>JoeMad!
how many episodes until he drops it?

Japanese studios animated a ton of US toons in the 80's like Tranformers Gen 1 ( which was more collaboration) and Thundercats

He was just a character designer, numbnut.

Its just a pilot right? What's the point of getting my hopes up? Crowd funding means it might not even be a reality, it being afro-centric means trolls upon trolls and mighty number 9 JUST happened.

Think of it like Thundercats ( but hopefully much better Written) it's more collaboration between west and East. You have people who worked on The Boondocks and Black Dynamite, along with Space Dandy, Legend of Korra and Oban Star Racers. That's a pretty international crew right there.

It came out on time for backers tho. Now its just waiting for the general public to watch it......

Except this actually delivered on what it was supposed to . As in a 11 minute pilot episode to show the idea of what the show would be. And so far from those who have seen it it's pretty good.

The question now is does it get picked up by a network. Something like this would fit perfectly in AS Toonami block, or maybe Netfllicks could get interested.

because those people paid for it.

I can really imagine AS picking up this show
>cowboy bebop worship
>a lot of other nigger-centric shows
I mean, AS is the only hope they have. That or Netflix.

>Netfllicks
feel like that would be a better place for it than AS. Or who knows. Maybe it gets officially released side by side with Samurai jack and gets some people from that hype train

looks good, now we have to wait until someone put the money for a whole season, a couple of years from now maybe we´ll see if this thing is good or not

Looks good, but there is nothing to do but to wait.

Actual discussion?! That's rare.

Why can't we get a well-animated show that doesn't look like shit?

>Why haven't you told me about this Sup Forums?
We tried. It got derailed with a bunch of "we wuz kangs and shiiiiiiiiiet" posts.

How does this look like shit, user?

...

The guy with the spiky hair ( Philly the Kid) is voiced by Felipe Smith

...

What happened to his rising sun shirt? I thought that looked cool

...

Yeah i preferred that look too.

...

Wow, really? That's pretty cool.

Though to be fair they all changed their looks. So I guess it was only a matter of time.

>all that Lady Meat + gas mask

...

...

...

Holy shit! He looks straight outta Thundercats! Super cool

...

...

Scorpion lady

Apparently she and the black girl are both robots. But she's just outdated hence why she looks like that.

Apparently there's another robot lady with no arms?

Except she's in the overall series not the pilot :/

...

Guy with the afro reminds me of Mugen

>liking the robo-loli

>no mega yet

I'm liking these designs.

>Not liking the robo-loli

Made in Japan? Anime.

Not made in Japan? Not anime.

It's that simple.

>everyone's black but they don't make a big deal out of it
Looks pretty cool

It hasn't been pirated at all. We are dry without any links on the horizont.

That was probably my worst Sup Forums experience.

Alfie fucket didn't even post post the final blow

say what now?

What happened? How could a thread become your worst experience on Sup Forums unless you're some newfag summerfag.

my rule is whoever produced it decides if its an anime or not

>even if it's made in the west.
>made in the west
>can this be considered a cartoon?

Roadhog's mom and dad?

pro tip: if you are not sure if something is or is not an anime, look at the head producer's nationality. If it is made by a japanese, it's an anime, if it's made by any other nationality, even if all the animation, storyboards and episode plots are done by Japanese, it's not an anime to the average weeb's standards.
