Doug liman is an underrated director

The real 90s was 1991-1996. 1997-1999 weren't the 90s, they were a weird, parallel universe where everything suddenly went from being rustic and grungy, to futuristic, girly, bubbly, and homosexual

most horror flicks that released around 97 to 99

>Real 90s
Fuck off with that nonsense, the 90s we're the fucking 90s, that's it

The 90s ended in 2006

Agreed. Why I made a distinction saying >late 90s

Though that era still had its odd charm.

I remember a lot of drugs and trance music

As someone who was born in early 80s.

90s films last from 1993 (Jurassic Park) to 2001 (Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter)

90s culture was from like 1988 to 2002 or around.

90s culture was defined pretty much by the club/rave culture and the Grunge/alt-rock culture.

That stuff started in the late 80s and lasted to the early 00s, but then died out as RnB and pop punk, emo and "urban" popular culture started taking over.

I really remember when the 90s ended, it was when pretty much you would turn on MTV and you wouldn't have Faboy Slim, Bomfunk MCs, Juno Reactor, Trance music or Jamiroquai, it was just all fucking tedious shit like Destiny's Child, Jay-Z, Usher , My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Blink 182 and shit.

Sarah Polley is underrated.

Yeah that was cringe.

Hackers all the way.

That started in 96 when electronics went translucent. And there were more modems in the home.

Same reason the 70's didn't really end till 1983. Check fashion and electronics.
