bored af, there's no financial news tonight, there's no happenings, no nothing. I have a Netflix account and a few hours to kill. What does Sup Forums recommend?
Type of films I like: Kubrick stuff Alien / Aliens Lost Highway / Mulholland Drive / Twin Peaks Mad Max The Last Valley The Man Who Would Be King Zulu Blade Runner Shooter Minority Report 12 Monkeys Donnie Darko
Just hit me whatever, don't care if it's old or new. I know I've just been scraping the surface and there's a ton of redpilled/imaginative movies out there that "really make u think." Gonna go grab some Del Taco and I'll be back.
people often deride this film as being needlessly bizarre but I feel it uses the symbolism of the tarot and other esoteric traditions very literally to tell a unique story of self actualization.
Charles Scott
that is a great shot, do you have the webm by any chance?
Hudson Robinson
Nope, sorry. It was the first image I found on google.
Elijah Adams
>Black Mirror
Robert Collins
Battlestar Galactica, it's a series.
Logan Mitchell
isn't kingdom of heaven that super-ultra-bluepilled "you must work for the jews at all costs no matter what" faggot movie, where the most important thing in the world was to die to protect the kikes of jerusalem?
Daniel Wright
Based on what criteria should we make a list? Obviously not Sup Forums related shit because only one, maybe two movies in your list qualify for that
memes aside Bergman is one of the greatest directors of all time. I feel like you can see the death rattle of Sweden in his films, the people he portrays why they and their offspring would do the terrible things they do.
Brazil/Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Waking Life. Fantastic Planet.
Michael Morales
i think of it the same way i think of Sup Forums related art. honest true to humankind and intelligent. something that can be beautiful or at least something that deals with ugly things in a beautiful way.
Levi Cruz
John Wick.
Not redpilled, just fun.
Justin Johnson
This one comes out in the states next weekend early reviews say it's Sup Forums approved though. Anti-bank and and has a very pro-gun message. It's at 100% on rotten tomatoes with like 15 reviews now. From the same guy who wrote Sicario (which is also pol-approved). Can't wait to see it desu
Julian Jones
Fight Club (of course)
Fargo (YLYL)
Connor Nelson
been recommended to me so many times...need to finally watch these.
loved these
sounds like some good action flicks. loved valhalla rising...very trippy, gives that hopeless, lost in unknown land feeling Hell yes, I love lesser known old movies like these.
Come on...at least the government is totally corrupt in the plot. I liked the part where they were rigging the FBI dude into a "suicide" contraption.
simply ebin' thanks slightly cheesy for my taste, but I do love the care he puts into his visuals and costumes. Gladiator was awesome. I cry erry tiem... Interesting...will definitely check these out.
Damn, I love you guys! Knew you would come through, I'll be busy all weekend with these.
Ayden Murphy
Sunshine - for 2001 feels The Mist Lean on Me
Luis Ramirez
I recently decided to watch the movie Gravity. It was pure shit, with literally one "what the fuck" moment.
Even the ending was pure garbage. Wouldn't recommend it. Not even sure why I'm posting this. Pretty sure its old as fuck anyways.
Ryan Flores
The Mist is great... Such an awesome movie
Thomas Scott
yeah man, pretty much anything with Christian Bale, starting with 'Empire of the Sun' to 'The Big Short'
No, Kingdom of Heaven has nothing to do with Jews, aside from the main character mentioning once "hey maybe we shouldn't genocide all the jews and muslims in jerusalem" once.
Aiden Sullivan
this Tbh It's kind of hard to define....anything not too Jewish / bluepilled. Deals with the subject matter seriously and deeply. Very imaginative yet not stuffed with bells and whistles for shekel-grubbing purposes.
thanks Venezuela. I heard Brazil was good. Mist sounds intriguing. Normally I don't care for the horror genre, but there are some good gems in there. Big Short was good. The book is worth reading too.
Wyatt Bell
go watch Eyes wide shut, its a seriously good film in regards to the redpill. its horrifying when you ultimately think about it.
Jacob Moore
>
pure shit? haha. i saw it 3 times on the big screen in 3D, awesome, killer movie. 'i hate space'
Jeremiah Rodriguez
I even enjoy some major blockbusters once in a blue moon...Limitless, Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty. Hollywood can actually produce good shit if they put aside their money lust for two seconds.
>Dancer in the dark will leave you in manly tears, wont forget, promise >Dogville redpilled as fuck >This is England bluepilled as fuck but the characters are golden, brilliant actors >La Haine good french movie from the 90s, its even more actual today >Martyrs this is a good horror but not Saw-tier normie shit
Julian Turner
>Come on...at least the government is totally corrupt in the plot. I liked the part where they were rigging the FBI dude into a "suicide" contraption.
It's still just another generic hollywood action movie and not even good one.
Isaiah Hall
Pic related.
Caleb Lewis
It is super bluepilled: it portrays Christians as warmongering savages, and Muslims as a bunch of peaceful sand-people who dindu nuffin.
Bentley Jones
if you havent seen Tropic Thunder or Idiocracy ...
Elijah Walker
...
Zachary Cruz
>La Haine >good french movie from the 90s, its even more actual today What? How tf is La Haine repilled?? That's one of the most blue-pilled, pro-nigger, pro-Arab, pro-Jew movies that I've ever seen. The whole movie can be summed up as so: >black people have it hard >France is racist towards blacks >Arab people have it hard >France is racist towards Arabs >Jewish people live in the ghetto too, and they are your only friends
That movie inspired generations of cucked white liberals.
disregarding the protagonist being a degenerate, I think it actually tells the story of man and his ability to dedicate himself wholly to his craft, even to the point of his own demise. i think it is a beautiful film
Michael Jones
GOAT
Kayden Scott
Here is a real good one, with an interesting plot, too: Just Cause.
A cucked white-liberal lawyer from "the north" comes to the south to defend a dindu while the based local black sheriff tries to get him to realize he doesn't know wtf he's dealing with.
Landon Torres
I didnt say its redpilled. But its not so one-sided as you describe it either. It basically says that both minorities and whites are part of the problem and it will get worse if we dont change something. What the change should be? This must be decided by the viewer.
>Heard about the guy who fell off a skyscraper? On his way down past each floor, he kept saying to reassure himself: So far so good... so far so good... so far so good. How you fall doesn't matter. It's how you land!
How about K-19: The Widowmaker? I've never seen it fully but it's another submarine film.
Gavin Powell
I came to post this.
Andrew Hall
Yea I know the whole "jusq'ici tout va bien, jusq'ici tout va bien" I lived in France for 3 years. That retarded movie inspired blacks to riot more and to make more anti-white black movies. The only people who like that movie is liberals. And no, it's not the white-French people's fault at all. Blacks and Arabs in France rob, attack and rape white people all the fucking time without any backlash.....the movie does nothing to address this obvious fact.
is that the one where the guy eats the herbs from the mountain, and some snake girls jump along the river through a city?
Luke Foster
well, that's a bit specific There are some well known movies that could fit that description, like the grave of fireflies, taxi driver, maybe once upon a time in america which is my favorite movie but i'm sure you know them already.
So i'm thinking about some lesser known shit, like: - La Grande Illusion by Jean Renoir - La ronde by Max Ophuls - Seppuku by Masaki Kobayashi - Akahige by Akira Kurosawa
none of them are Sup Forums related (except for taxi driver) but they kinda fit your description, i could probably think of more if i get the time. No order in my list btw, just watch what sounds good to you
Jackson White
Not all my best films but not one is a bad film good choice desu
Ryder Fisher
hmmm, don't remember that exactly.
Andrew Perez
>the movie does nothing to address this obvious fact.
what? one of the protagonists is trying to kill a cop the whole movie. and the film also shows how uncivilised niggers and arabs act towards white middle class women. and we could see some good old-fashioned rioting too if I remember correctly
Landon Gomez
>ctrl+f >no Scanner Darkly
Fucking plebeian iuam
Elijah Peterson
Nice solid selection of movies OP.
Excellent choice.
Brazil is love, Brazil is life.
Sunshine is 9/10ths awesome. The Mist wasnt bad either, kicker of an ending
Seven Samurai is great.
An oldie recommendation which is free on youtube is the old movie "M", you will see echoes of nearly every police program ever. youtube.com/watch?v=nM0w1dTNAH0 My recommendation for a weird but satisfying movie. Pi. youtube.com/watch?v=jo18VIoR2xU Has Kabbalism, weird Jewish cults and a genius who might know the name of god.
Samuel Lewis
it's a shit movie nonetheless imo, Mathieu (((Kassowitz))) is a smug pretentious twat
Jace Anderson
yeah, M is the shit. Watch it lads, I know some people think old movies are boring af but this one is really captivating
Landon Wright
Lord Of War.
Or Inside Job if you want some financial stuff but Lord of War is a priority.
I love the way the criminals and beggars have a "union".
Nathan Martin
Terminator 2 is like the ultimate redpill movie made by a leaf. Ultimate robot dad, strong mom, libertarian mini gun underground shelter. All to fight enslavement.
>My recommendation for a weird but satisfying movie. >Pi.
shit Ive been trying to watch it for months but the search motor of ncore is shit and it cant find PI because the movies's title has to be at least 3 characters for a succesfull search REEEEE
Chase Howard
it's sort of like the difference between porn and film, "I know it when i see it"; and i think at a certain point, as with any art, when a creation is so true to the human spirit that it transcends the limits of the contemporary political landscape, then we have what i consider a Sup Forums film.
I have always found the spirit behind this board to be more about truth than anything else, not that we have everything right, but that we are trying to make it that way. To shed away stupid implausible beliefs for the sake of imaginary peoples feelings and get to the core of what is good for man and that is what these films are for me, a look into the soul. something honest
I haven't seen any of those last four, thanks for the suggestions.
I still see France as the home of art
Landon Hall
>Mr nobody
It's a great film and surprisingly rare as it clearly had a large budget and actors like J Leto but never got a real anglosphere release (it's in English don't worry).
Discussion on choices we make in our lives and how little choices make a massive difference.
If that's too babies first time film then watch Primer you pleb.
Jace Robinson
I've fallen for both the Netflix and Hulu Jews. What are some good movies that are on either? I feel like I've watched most everything decent.
Evan Roberts
People pay for the tv Jew? Haha almost as dumb as the plebs who pay for a license here.
Streaming sites work fine and with no adverts.
Ayden Watson
Thats awesomely shit. I salute your search sir, and all who sail in you.
