i thought critics called it shit when season 1 came out
or are they admitting they never really watched it

For season 1 they literally only sent critics pre-release copies of the first 4 episodes. Makes sense now, eh?

They watched the first half of season 1 and accurately called it mediocre. Apparently watching half a season then reviewing is the norm.
Only after being called out they watched the rest and saw it was great.

>Apparently watching half a season then reviewing is the norm
That makes no sense from a review standpoint.

Netflix only gave the first six episodes to reviewers.

It makes no sense from any stand point really. Maybe they think they've been doing it long enough they can pick up on everything from four episodes

At least it seems like critics got the whole season this time, given the finale gets brought up in the reviews.
My guess is that with season one they were worried about leaks and spoilers

Welp, I guess I should re-watch the entire thing. It's been a year and a half since I watched season 1, let's see how well it holds up.

There's nothing wrong with this sentiment. If you can sell me a show after watching four episodes of it then maybe you deserve to be called mediocre.

I'm giving into the hype, I'm genuinely excited for this season.

They gotta make a living.
Watching series takes time.
Time is money.

They can't watch everything and there's reviews to be punched out.

Is Bojack going to make it before us?

BoJack isn't ever going to make it. That's the point.

I'm trying to hold on to my past
It's been so long, I don't think I'm gonna last

I guess I'll just try and make you understand
That I'm more horse than a man
Or I'm more man than a horse

Based off the first 4 episodes, I guess I'd call it mediocre too. The whole attempt at a bait and switch with the "WOAH, We're just another wacky colorful sitcom!" didn't do them any good.

I guess it was an attempt to ease the average viewer into the heavy shit
like the frog and the boiling water thing

Nothing can really ease anyone into episode 11, though. Shit went from "zany" drug trip to depressing real quick.

Bumpin'

Any hopes for this new season?

I hope it destroys me

So does it all come out at once?

I'm going away and I want to watch it.

Yes, that's how Netflix shows work

Yep, that's how it works sadly.
I'll have to avoid Sup Forums until I catch up.

I may get a Netflix account just to watch Bojack on release.

Netflix is pretty worth it. I regularly rewatch Justice League. Wish they didn't remove Batman Beyond.

bump

It looks like a very good show, but I'm also hesitant to watch it. I do not want a repeat of Moral Orel Season 3 and cause my life to be destroyed yet again. Should I still watch BoJack?

Yes

Either Penny or Mr. Peanutbutter kills themself.

this desu

in home country netflix does weekly releases

fucking faggots

No idea what you're talking about, I've never seen any Netflix show do a weekly release and I live in the USA

>implying I'd live in some shit hole police state
