Face of the 1%

This is Dave. He's a welder.

Dave spent several years as an apprentice, then a journeyman. He then worked for a company for 15 more years. After putting in 70-hour weeks for such a long time, he opened his own welding company. Dave now employs 4 people, and pays them well. For all this, Dave takes home $253,000 per year.

Because of what Dave makes, he's part of the 1%.

Really makes you think, doesn't it?

That's pretty cool, good for him. He earned the money by working alot and taking the time.

You don't comprehend the delusions of leftists. Leftypol literally believes that "wages are theft", because the employer takes a cut out of the profit, while paying the employees.

welding is a great career
your eyes go to shit kind of quick though so it makes sense you're paid well
underwater welders roll mad bank

starting an apprenticeship program.
It'll take 5 years.
At the end, I'll be making minimum $5/hour, with healthcare, dental, retirement, 2 weeks paid vacation, and a few months off every year.
Construction is tough, but it's damn good money.

>the employer takes a cut out of the profit, while paying the employees.
..the money that the employees made

*$45/hour
fucking keyboard

No, the employees made zero money. Otherwise, they wouldn't be seeking employment. Unless you're capable of producing something yourself, you deserve zero.
