Puss in Boots

Just started watching Puss in Boots on netflix after it popped up on my to watch along with a new season. Why is the Sphinx so cute?

I've posted in just about every Puss in Boots thread, but I don't know if I could even say I've watched more than two episodes. I mainly just skim through the episodes using the bar's thumbnail preview and watch Dulcinea scenes.

Nothing about the show makes me want to watch it. I don't like Puss. I don't like the villains. I'd rather spend ten minutes skimming through the episodes than the four hours it would take to watch them all.

Dulcinea still looks as weird as ever.

At least Dulcinea still knows how to fight.

I did watch the skeleton episode. Can't go wrong with skeletons. But these 13 episodes didn't have much else that seemed interesting from my skims.

this show is lacking in some way, maybe because puss is an adventurer stuck in one shitty city?

These episodes seem to take him out of the city a lot. At least from what I saw skimming through. One seemed to take place entirely underwater.

...

It's just a statue, the actual Bloodwolf is still pending.

Is he making stuff up because he's so guilt-ridden, or does this show actually take place after Shrek 4?

That's pretty anticlimatic.

I wouldn't expect more plot progression until the next "season", or the second half of the production season.

Seems like end boss material, yeah.
I do like that they immediately address the issue of what happens to the civilization living underground as a result of the blood wolf statue.
You get the impression they always wanted to do the show as a serialized story, they were just waiting for larger half season batch releases.

Originally it was planned to be more serialized and even start with a movie premiere, but the creators felt more comfortable doing it episodic.

...

So inevitable twist where the hero of the prophecy is Dulcinea and not Puss?

Is the last Shrek movie and the spinoff movie worth watching? I pretty much lost interest in the series after how terrible the third one was.

Hey, they changed Guante Blanco's model.

...

I keep waiting for them to put Dulcinea in a different outfit, at least for a scene or an episode. They never do.

I believe it takes place after his movie but before Shrek as he does mention events from the Puss in Boots movie but never Shrek.

God its a bit weird that they share a universe after binge watching the series. Shrek had something of a modern fantasy setting going for it while this is more 1800sish.

Earlier than that.

...

Shouldn't Sphinx be able to solo them?

Perhaps, but with an all powerful demon wolf to arrive in two months time, this is more of a big picture team.

Did Dulcinea get any sort of upgrade this season? I mean, aside from learning to fight a while back, what does she bring to the table?

Hey, did the change Dulce up?
She looks a bit better from the first time I saw her.

She's always looked decent at certain angles. It's the other angles where her face looks like garbage.

She's the heart that holds the team together, and thus probably the destined cat that is the only one who can defeat the Bloodwolf.

She is sooo shitty that not even furry artists want to draw her. Yes, furry artists rejecting the opportunity to latch onto a furry female. It speaks volumes of how shitty the character is. That and how unattractive.

There are, like, five drawings. It's something.

I like that even though she doesn't have the super strength of a magical sword, she still knows all the fighting techniques Puss taught her.

That is nothing. Even Jenny from Bucky O' Hare from a failed series has like 70 pics overall and a chunk of them are decent fap bait.

I think she looks fine.

It's a good thing he didn't also ante his belt or this would be very lewd.

I think it's so obvious that its a joke that Puss automatically thinks it's going to be him.

So do you think Puss would be able to satisfy her sexually?

>Just, Like, stick your whole arm in there Puss.

Are there any lewds of her?

Don't think so.
Guess that needs to change. Someone make a thread in /trash/.

Just making a request on the Drawthread should be enough.

I really should have foreseen the german fairy tale character causing something dark to happen, but I didn't.

So, end boss of the next season?

Dat laden dress bulge
She get more scenes yet?

His clone is just still hanging around afterwards.
That's just inviting him to die a horrible death that everyone initially assumes is the real Puss.

He was played by Alan Tudyk. They basically gave it away.

It's not bad. Sphinx needs more screen time and I'm waiting eagerly for S4 so we can see whats up with Dulcinea and her bad side.

I do like that besides awakening an ancient evil, he's utterly inconpetent at being a bad guy.

I want to know more about this Bloodwolf.
When it's finally arrived, does the statue come to life or is is just a normal sized being and the statue really is just entirely for show?

>the bloodwolf is revealed to be [an adorable puppy [/spoiler]
With cataclysmic strength

Mr Pickles?

To be fair the city is pretty damn old and most outsiders seem to live somewhere near it away from society

Since both Puss and Dulcinea seem too obvious, my money is on Puss Dos being the cat of destiny.
Something about being a brain dead clone will give him special powers or something.

Torrent when?

Artephius is Sino, right?

Is there a reason I don't remember this scene? Is season 3 out?

Season 3 is out today
The ancient evil is awakening, but it won't be ready for two months, so there's no rush

I hope she gets more screen time. She is just plain (inadvertently) LEWWWWWD.

There's basically two major story arcs, one about Puss putting together a team to help defeat the bloodwolf, one about Puss traveling with sky pirates to find an artifact to help defeat the Bloodwolf, and then some filler episodes in between.

We lost those old webms where she asks the children who wants to milk her. I keep wanting to find the one where she asks Dulcinea if she can make milk with her cat parts. Both webms were lost ages ago when moe committed suicide.

>yee

does it actually defeat the Bloodwolf or is it another trick?
