So Bucky is rumored to have a substantial role in the Black Panther movie.

How would you feel about that?

>>How would you feel about that?
intimate

>Token White Guy

He will be cuddled by the Black Panther who will touch his erect pod every night.

T'challa will feel the warmth of Bucky even through the frozen cryo-pod.

"Captain Flatpants has left you with me, my Bucky, now at last I will show you the hospitality of a King!"

He won't
The black people would be up in arms saying Marvel/Disney is trying to gentrify "their" movie

lewd

>panther recieves flak for harboring fugative
>allows villian to attack wakanda
>villian wants to use bucky
>bucky/panther team up at the end to destroy fuckers

>How would you feel about that?

I'm pretty sure the overwhelming response would be "erect."

#givepantheraboyfriend

Neutral.

Be nice to see Bucky outside Cap's shadow.

I only like bucky in the fanart

In Live action he looks ugly as sin

Bucky Barnes has like fuck nothing to do with Black Panther

In the comics I mean.

In the movie, yeah, the two were heavily involved. But it just feels really off for Bucky to be the guy T'challa teams up with. Not Reed Richards or Iron Man or something

>underestimating black nerds

Bucky has been my favorite thing in the MCU so far, so I have absolutely no problem with this.

He has a 9 picture deal. They would likely have to pay him if they didn't use him. He certainly has a fair amount of fan girl enthusiasm, is a good actor and, even if there's not much canon basis for a WS/BP team up, the MCU has clearly followed a somewhat tangential relationship to a very long canon for it's characters.

What?

They actually don't have to pay him for shit. They only have to pay him if they actually use him. The nine picture deal just means that if they want to use him then he's obligated to report to the set.

He probably gets accidentally defrosted during things Winter Soldier defrost safety measure activates. Cue one armed ass whooping. Hopefully on a villain so they can see for once how it is for a relentless force of violence to hound on you.

If it aint lewd then i dont care

I do kinda want to see a one-white-person movie, just so I can see people on the internet blow up about it.

if it's Bucky they'll just draw cute stuff and write porn

#keepwhitesoutofwakanda

I'm going to be excited by the amount of fic that has T'Challa pounding Bucky's boypussy once the movie comes out.

Black Panther said 'they can try' when CA said they would come for him at the very end of Civil Wat. Unless you are extremely stupid you should have guessed what the plot will be

I like it. It makes for an interesting dynamic, and a chance for Bucky to grow as a character outside of the realm of Captain America. I'm assuming he'll get an upgraded vibranium arm in this process as well.

He serves as a good reminder to T'Challa about the nature of his responsibilities as a King and the tempering of his anger and desires for revenge in the face of having things he loves taken from him by his enemies. Bucky is the innocent life he almost took in his rash desire for recompense.

You shut your goddamn mouth.

I bet girls loved him in Winter Soldier
He had that lost puppy look that drove em wild

>But it just feels really off for Bucky to be the guy T'challa teams up with. Not Reed Richards or Iron Man or something

>tfw no live-action FF/BP team up ever
>won't ever see Doctor Doom and BP go at it
>not even Namor vs. BP

Fuck me, man.

Oh yeah, Bucky being in the movie would make logical sense considering the mid-credits scene in CW and all.

Fuck that, let Panther have his own thing going on in his solo. I remember rumors of M'Baku helping Klaue though

What? How? He's so bland, what the fuck.

I definitely agree with all of this, but I'd like it to be a bit more spread out.

I'm rather tired of the Bucky drama, because it just keeps getting to points where it's just being dragged out and will never be resolved in any meaningful way.

Why is this a thing ?

I'd ask where is Steve.

Black Panther is his opportunity to grow past his trauma and reconstruct himself as a superhero.

He's a disillusioned MK Ultra who had his soul stolen from him. He isn't going to be a lively man.

I don't think they'd want to make it seem too much like Black Panther is just a continuation of the Captain America titles, no doubt he'll play a role but I don't think it will be "substantial."

Black Panther should most certainly be in the same world of Captain America/Shield and their geopolitical conflicts.

I'm cool with Bucky having a part in the movie. Let him be like Rhodey in the IM films or at least the first two. Give him some screen time, even develop him some more, but it should absolutely be a Black Panther movie. The movie should predominantly focus on T'challa and his character arc of accepting his new role as the king of Wakanda, while he deals with those who would threat Wakanda or political turmoil within it.

Of course they're in the same universe, but I would think they'd want it to be more his own narrative. Bucky should be more like Spidey in CW, there but almost negligible as far as the actual plot goes.

You really don't know shit about entertainment contracts, do you? Just as some athletes have Pay to Play so do actors. While Stans isn't the caliber of RDJ once he renegotiated his contract past his 3 picture deal, you can bet his agent isn't an idiot and his contract has a pay to play. They were always planning on using him as Evan's replacement as Captain America because they had assumed he would be unwilling to continue as Captain.

At least it'll probably give an extra boost to Asian boxoffice, which can only help. China loves Bucky.

I am convinced that nu males will drown out the actual black nerds.

I like how no one cares about him until he became dark and mysterious and suddenly every girl's taco was spicy for him.

To be fair, a lot of people never even saw the first movie.
It's one of the lowest grossing MCU films.

How many times is he going to get BLACKED?

That is when his character became interesting though. Before he became dark and mysterious, he was just Cap's buddy.

All girls have their maternal senses kick in when they see a poor, mindbroken, lonely boy.

Guys have a weakness for this type of character too. Look how many waifufags characters like Cass Cain and X-23 attract.

If you're a cute or hot broken character with a shit past, nerds will flock to you regardless of gender.

Everyone gets protective over people like that.

He was rumored by some dude who made up a bunch of shit.

Substanial role would even be "Frozen Guy over there causes diplomatic issues, bringing forces to Wakanda the Panther has to deal with", so let's see how it plays out, before raging about it.

I don't think anyone's raging about it here.

Twitter and tumblr though, they'll write 500 essays about how Marvel is problematic for adding an important white character to the cast.

Black Panther is quite a few more movies down the line. We have Strange, Spidey, and Ragnarok in between then and now, and it's the final movie before we go into IW. That's fairly spread out. That way that can have Bucky get his arm and back into fighting shape without having to dedicate too much time into IW, which is already going to have a lot of shit going on to fit in.

Token white guy is going to be Everett K. Ross, that's the whole point and role of that character.

Bucky will most likely return in Infinity Wars.

Like OP is a faggot who should fuck off with his shitty bait.

Bucky is everything but interesting. In the comics and especially in the movies.
It's one of the blandest characters I ever saw, he has the charisma and the presence of a lama in the movies

It's okay, Bucky needs to become a real human bean before he takes over as Cap when Steve is killed by Random Thug.

Rei Fucking Ayanami man.

And I guess Asuka too.

Who hurt you, pal?

>Saves Wakanda.
>Redeems himself.
>Okay for him to be new Cap after everything he's done.

As long as he doesn't take the spotlight that's fine.

When you say "substantial role", does that mean he's actually doing shit as a character, or is he just a source of conflict?
Say what you will about the "how it should have ended" videos, once they pointed out that Bucky never just told Tony he was sorry (which I'm not stupid enough to think it would work, but fuck it would've been something), I realized that he hasn't been a character since The First Avenger.

Nah I bet he gets a new vibranium arm.

I want him in this just for interactions between him and everett ross.

seperate but equal

>to avoid making SJWs angry due to white guy saving niggers, all of Wakanda's citizens ''thank him'' by BLACKING him for hours

Agree 100%.

Also? I never get tired of seeing him wreck niggas with that arm.

I think it should be that the palace is under attack and T'Challa needs backup, so out of desperation, he reactivates Buck.

Black Panther will be Cap's replacement tonally (leader, legend to his people, moral paragon), so it makes to include characters who fit the political theme.

POONTAH
OR
DEATH

>when they see a poor, mindbroken, lonely boy.
Only attractive ones, though.
