Meme-Lord, man. Legendary memer? XD

Meme-Lord, man. Legendary memer? XD

Should've kept his finger censored for the release, it's funnier that way.

You're trying too hard, OP.

Try it on Sup Forums, they like shitposting like that.

I agree. It made the "I'm sorry, I didn't know how this machine worked" make sense.

This movie is so cheap and stupid pandering

Its so cringeworthy

>Legendary memer?

Nah. He hasn't been to earth since 82. He wouldn't know what the fuck a meme is.

I don't want to see a movie with this actor anymore

Fedora tipping
Has it right

This was a great way to censor.

Ayy, ayy, ayy, hooked on a memeing

>Meme-Lord, man. Legendary memer? XD
but nothing about him was a meme

Remember when Star-Lord was respectable?

this was a fun film

Me neither, but because of Jurassic World.

Why not? Pratt's cool.

i'm alright with him but god DAMN gamora was such an ugly motherfucker

how is it possible to cast someone so wrong

So did they change the design AND the way he acts just for movie synergy?

yes

ooga chaka ooga ooga ooga chaka

That is correct.

Design is one thing but the changing the way a characters acts is just stupid.
Was this around the time Bendis started shipping him with Kitty?

Which is dumb because the reason he was that way in the movie is specifically because of his inexperience.

They also changed the rest of the crew for the sake of movie synergy.
Granted, Star-Lord as the one they changed the most, but still...

Yes, but Star-Lord has been Meme-Lord since Bendis took over the Guardians comic.
Even James Gunn told Bendis to fuck off when he tried to give he tips about how the Guardians and Star-Lord should act in the movie.

The Kitty thing only came around afterwards, in the crossover Jean Grey's Trial.

>give him tips
Fix'd

>Ben Browder will never be DnA Star-Lord in the movies

Maybe...

...

100%

Peter a cute

>get chased the entire series because of his knowledge on wormholes
>finally decide to give them what they want and uses it on everyone
>villains: we have made a terrible mistake

So glad they got that finale.

>LE EBIN DANCE OFF XDDDD

Now I haven't read the comics, but Guardians Of The Galaxy is one of my all time favourite films and I can definitely tell you with certainty that the live-action Starlord is an improvement in every single way.

If you read Annihilation, you'd start crying over how the MCU fucked over cosmic.

Cosmic Marvel was fucked long before MCU was ever a thing.

>I haven't read the comics
>I can definitely tell you with certainty that the live-action Starlord is an improvement
How can you know that if you haven't read the comics?

explain

in the latinoamerica version was uncesored btw

bendis man take control back in 2013

But at that time the MCU was a thing?

He's baitin' son

Here in Brazil it wasn't

>Taking the bait

Because I'm unbiased in my opinion towards the franchise from the film's point of view, and am not wearing thick nostalgia goggles that would otherwise prevent me from fully experiencing all the movie has to offer? It already offers a full, varied and deep ensemble of emotions in a scifi setting and isn't afraid to not take itself so seriously. Why would I need the comic?

>Guardians of the Galaxy and Annihilation got me back into comics - massive fan
>GotG movie is my favourite out of the MCU

Yeah they're different but they're both good.

Bendis' Guardians are fucking horrendous though. Different doesn't mean bad - bad means bad.

>everyone you disagree with is automatically baiting

When the hell did Sup Forums turn into such a hugbox?

You said yourself that you haven't read the comics, man.
Your opinion is automatically invalid if you don't know what you're talking about.

None of MCU are more than 40% similar with their comic books version.
