What if the Terminator had found a different group of people or a individual to get his clothing from?

What if the Terminator had found a different group of people or a individual to get his clothing from?

Well it's designed to blend in, so it's not going to take women's clothes, or clothes that obviously don't fit, interesting point because I could see him being pulled over by cops for indecent exposure and squeezing into the uniforms, that'd have been crazy.

I'm don't think it's designed to "fit in" in the sense he's a average Joe. The Terminator could had been made with the purpose to be intimidating, but still what we would consider to be normal. Here we have this muscle-bound, six feet man deciding that the best way to blend in is with the clothing of a social misfit, not the ideal cover if you ask me. However, this could be chalk up, that the reason that the human body of the T-800 is like this is that it would cover the massive exoskeleton underneath, and the machine haven't been given information on what it is "normal" for this time period, as perhaps Skynet was in a hurry.

...

What if the Terminator was gay? I mean, why couldn't he?

I don't think it's supposed to be intimidating either, remember it's designed for infiltration.

for the most part as soon as the T-800 gets clothes, it is "invisible", Kyle himself says he had to wait to make sure

The Terminator is incapable of having a sexuality. Whenever or not he is able of having a mind beyond his programming is a another matter,, but it having a sexuality is strictly a organic affair.

it could have been a group of gays in leather clothing haha just imagine

The probable reason behind the machine's appearance is that Skynet was still building the ideal infiltration unit, and this was the best attempt to do so at that time. Though I think why Kyle didn't spotted it was because of the crowd and the lights in the club. Kyle Reese is a veteran of the far future, I think he can tell who would be a Terminator.

NICE NIGHT FOR A WALK EH?

He would have to have genitals as an infiltration unit. And would have to simulate urination as well in order to blend in. The designers would not waste the space though. Maybe an emergency battery.

>Though I think why Kyle didn't spotted it was because of the crowd and the lights in the club. Kyle Reese is a veteran of the far future, I think he can tell who would be a Terminator.

No Kyle himself says that he couldn't know who was a Terminator until it attacked her, they don't all look like Arnold or at least shouldn't, the one from his dream definitely didn't, the only way they had of figuring them out successfully was dogs.

The T-800 acted in a way is atypical for humans, their stiff movements and stiffer personality may indicate of such a being. Though, that alone wouldn't prove you to be a literal killing machine. I'm not saying Kyle would deduct it to be the Terminator, but his job is made even more difficult by the fact of the nature of the club.

what if he ran into a fat neckbeard with an anime shit and fedora

Everything you said is wrong and conflicts with what Kyle says in the movie.

I'm out.

Did that Neckbeard type existed back then? Isn't the Fedora more of a early 2000's thing?

What if he walked up to MJ on the Thriller set

I'm not saying you're wrong, you're right, but I'm just trying to say the club doesn't make it any easier.

would have been a blood bath

...

I'm pretty sure it understood that all the people it saw had clothes and it did not, then just decided to take clothes off the nearest people who were similar enough size that their clothes would fit. I doubt it was aiming for any specific style.

And he would walk away without the clothes.

He would have been twenty times as terrifying.

Imagine an enormous tone-deaf Ned Flanders looking motherfucker stalking you through nightclubs and hotels.
