Are there actually any good animes on Netflix? I've seen Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note, Cowbooy Beebop, and Case Closed. Everything else seems like fantasy shit where you have overpowered Mary Sues versus forbidden and ancient evil, or SOL shit where people are emoting about their drama and feelings. Are there at least any animes where somebody actually put thought into the dialogue of the characters, or it's the least bit eloquent?

Yes.

Little Witch Academia's alright.

This looks like total kiddie shit. What's good about it?

>good anime
?

>Shonen shit
>those retarded boots

Isnt Steins;Gate on netflix?

Pretty much casual stuff, but there's some casual kino

This one actually surprised me. It was recommended to me by a friend and I judged it with extreme prejudice since it was a Netflix animu, but it's pretty good as far as shonenshit goes.

Is Clannad still on there? Why not just torrent Anime like everyone else?

whats the deal with catgirls in anime these days? they're everywhere, along with conventional school girls

>Why not just torrent Anime like everyone else?
I like the convenient of Netflix. Maybe I like to watch on my phone. I don't want to deal with that shit. Etc., etc...

Netflix can be on the go tho

>these days
Did you just start watching anime today? Cat sluts have always been a thing.

Appeal to closet furries.

>tfw my dad watches this
His taste does tend to be very good but I'm still not entirely convinced.

...

>kiddie
nah

One Punch Man, Attack on Titan, and Naruto are decent

>streaming anime

Okay, so it's not kiddie, but it's about some disguised princes coming to some rogue searching for warriors, etc, which seems extremely cliched if I can't exactly think of other similar series.
However, I'm not entirely unimpressed with it, but I'm not interested enough in the story to keep watching it.

Probably more in the future if they decide to start paying extra for exclusive streaming rights. Though I've read their translations are kind of shit.

>Though I've read their translations are kind of shit.
Compared to what you usually get in fandubs? Hardly.

Wait is Spice and Wolf on Netflix? If so watch that.

>remember watching death note for the first time last year
>"Huh, this is alright"
>Then the second season happens

Silver Spoon and The Devil is a Part Timer are Norme Netflix Anime core

moribito guardian of the spirit or something like that, its probably one of the best ive seen, not sure if its still on there though...

I hoped you pushed through it. The second and third seasons are definitely inferior, but still worth watching.

Masaaki Yuasa's got a new Devilman series in the works, should be pretty good.

They have Hunter X Hunter, Naruto, Digimon, and DevilMan vs Cyborg 009.

Those were all pretty good, of course HxH isn't complete, they're missing about 30 episodes.

>Silver Spoon
Reminders of me Harvest Moon, in the sense that I don't know why it exists. Also, something to do with farms, which is a gimmick I don't care for.
>The Devil is a Part Timer
This is... pretty cool...

Don't they have Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex?

The last anime I watched that I thought was pretty good was Zankyou no Terror even though it sort of lost momentum as it went on, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet was alright as well.

Pokémon

>which seems extremely cliched if I can't exactly think of other similar series.

>Its been done a thousand times, sure I can't think of one of them but trust me I'm 12 I've seen everything.

Ftfy.

Oh, that's not really fair. Plenty of times, you see cliches where you can't enumerate every single instance.
I'll just say I'm not interested in "finding warriors to save kingdom" trope.

Dead manga

:(

If you hate kiddie shit, Queen's Blade is nothing but naked bitches and badass fight scenes. It was taken down though.

I understand if its not you thing, and yes the trope has been done but you could have just said seven samurai, which is were these animes steal it from.

Little witch Academia is great for the first part

The second is ok

Well, I could have said it, but I've never seen it.

I enjoyed Gargantia, only thing on there I would only have discovered because of Netflix.

>Staying home from work sick
>Accidentally click on little witch
>Embarrassed at how much I enjoy it
Not even a weeb but cute girls doing cute things is a guilty pleasure of mine. I'll fucking kill you if you tell anyone.

if you're gonna watched a dubbed anime kill yourself. no wonder people hate anime. they only watched dubbed crap

Not sure if on Netflix. Baccano, good fun mafia story. Paranoia agent, creepy surreal thriller.

Durarara is a living breathing sci-fi infested version of modern day Tokyo that you'll never want to leave(by the creator of Baccano which used to be on Netflix and did the same thing with 1930s America) , Gurren Laggan is known for it's epic story and scope, Hunter x Hunter is shonen but it does a very good job of never making the protagonists overpowered, Madoka Magica is a good unexpected take on the magical girl genre.

>animes
Fuck you gaijin it's ANIME THE PLURAL IS ANIME FUCK
Also fuck off to

I like how drrr handled the internet. Most just use the same old cliches. The good and bad of it was pretty accurate.

The Madoka Magica movies are on Netflix, but I wouldn't recommend then if you're just getting into anime.

They're fine. The "deconstruction" meme is not important.

Why not just watch whatever shit, shouldn't matter much because if you are retarded enough to pay for Netflix you will be amused by retard shit like Gurren laggen.

did not even finish it, trash/10

>if you are retarded enough to pay for Netflix
I don't think I am, and I don't.
>you will be amused by retard shit like Gurren laggen.
I don't know what that is. I'm saying because I've checked our several "anime" and I've disliked almost all of them and considered them a complete waste of time.

Suck nice digits wasted on Chinese gook cartoons

I liked madoka when i had only ever seen fma:b and steins;gate. Of the three thougj madokas the only i couldnt stand to rewatch

>tfw 5 years after my anime phase they continue berserk
>cgi

Samurai X, Street Fighter II, HxH and Death Note

>it's another "I'm too afraid to post on Sup Forums thread because they'll bully me" episode

Samurai Flamenco. Watch it now without spoiling anything.

Blame!

What is the least weeb anime that I could watch?

Baccano is great. Also one of the few shows where even sub purists agree you should watch the dub.

Cowboy Bebop and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood are heavily western-influenced, so they're probably a good starting point. They're also really good.

I watched FMA: Brotherhood a couple months a go and really liked it. However I don't really like the concept of Cowboy Bebop. People might like it, but I just don't in my opinion
