Third one is kind of a wash considering it'd be the morally correct thing to do in the situation, but Ruth would still more than likely have issues remaining at college because of it and it's implied that her family is abusive so she's still kinda screwed because of it.

But the fact of the matter is that Carla did not need to take care of this matter publicly. She has no reason to out anyone else's secrets, and it's not her business to decide whose secrets are worth keeping.
I think this is another one of those cases where the ambiguous public status of Carla's transsexuality really fucks with a story. By all accounts she's not out as trans and actively tries to keep it that way.

This escalated into ICB dropping his life story and battles with depression, and Willis stepped in detailing how his fictional characters' depression is just as valid as those of real people.
It basically boiled down to a lot of rage and then grovelling from Bleed, realizing that the internet senpai is the only senpai he has.

Nope. Mary has mostly just been a minor character until now. I'd wager Mary was raised in a conservative, Christian household that was less restrictive than Joyce's upbringing, considering Mary's weeb artstyle. Mary comes off as far more worldly and cynically fundamentalist than Joyce.
